Women, look no further than Dr. Frederick and the rest of his Nile Women's Health Care staff. I…read morecame to Dr. Frederick for a 3rd opinion for a surgery and I left the appointment feeling ready to move forward with the surgery. This was something I was putting off for 2 years due to it not being urgent and fear of having surgery but Dr. Frederick explained the procedure in detail and answered all of my questions which made me feel comfortable compared to the other 2 doctors I met with prior. I had a wonderful first time surgery experience with Dr. Frederick and the rest of my care team from North Fulton Outpatient Surgery center. I knew I was in good hands with Dr. Frederick and that he would take good care of me and he did just that. My husband & sister were very impressed with Dr. Frederick as well as he took the time to explain the procedure to them the day of and answered all of their questions. He also called my husband immediately after the surgery to give him an update on how everything went which my husband very much appreciated as he was worried himself in the waiting room. Over the past 2 months I have recommended two of my coworkers to this practice for regular GYN care and first time OB care and they both had great experiences with the nurse practitioners that they saw. One of my coworkers even recommended her sister who came back with great reviews as well. Dr. Frederick hires the best doctors, midwives & nurse practitioners so whoever you see here you will be in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Frederick and his team for any and all OB-GYN services that you may need. They have two office locations: Roswell & Johns Creek and delivery at North Fulton Hospital & Emory Johns Creek hospital.

However, the scheduling team If you can get through to an actual person (because I've been on 10 minute holds multiple times without EVER getting through), they are pretty cold and nonchalant. The last call was my last straw. I had to reschedule due to a last-minute change in childcare. This was the 4th time I had to reschedule. First time, my provider was overbooked. The called to reschedule. 2nd time, I was running late but of course no one answered when I called to reschedule or update them. The 3rd time,I received a text from them that the office was closed due to inclement weather. When I called this last time, the scheduler said they were going to charge me a $25 fee because this was my 4th same-day cancellation. So I told her that it was actually my 3rd--no 2nd-- because 2 of the 4 times, were on them. She said they have a new protocol, and I asked her what it was and she seemed unclear but defensive, stating: I'll just note your file. Then she rushed through the rescheduling process as if she was annoyed. I only came to this practice for Dr. Dark to deliver my baby but I'm done with this office. The overall vibe for the nonmedical staff is unprofessional and nonchalant. For them to also be women in a doctor's office for women who are specifically coming because of new or emerging changes to their bodies the lack of empathy or care is puzzling.

I found out I was dismissed once I attempted to check in. I was left with finding a new doctor at the last minute which was frustrating due to the fact I was almost done with my pregnancy and inwas considered a liability . The appointments are less than 5 minutes and the doctors only checked for my baby's heartbeat twice throughout the whole 7 1/2 months. I guess it was a good thing that I was dismissed, now I have a new doctor that actually cares and takes time with me and my baby and is closer to my home. Word of advice , go here at your own risk but just know some of the doctors do not care and you are just another patient and check to them.

With a lobby full of…read morepatients, she had no qualms in stating loudly that "I can't talk to those people who don't speak English " in such a demeaning and dismissive fashion. The other receptionist said "Okay.. should I talk to them?" I'm not even a client (was assisting my sister) but I was even so appalled that I called the office and complained. How dare a member of staff verbally dismiss clients who don't speak English well, if if it isn't these clients who are funded her paycheck in some way (whether it be private pay, Medicaid, employer insurance). The audacity.. Luckily I'm a lawyer and recorded the statements (it happened twice). They will be hearing from us.

They don't collect very much information at all but they do want to get your prescriptions you are on and check your insurance card. They didn't even check my ID or ask for my phone number so if you want them to know something they haven't asked you, you have to speak up and verify they understood what you said. Trust me on that. Last Gyn wouldn't take my new medical insurance and this gyn does. I accidentally hit unsure if you have to make a medical appointments. You do have to make an appointment here. They take your weight and blood sugar here. I did like not having to not fill out a new patient packet which is a pain in the butt but they need to ask more info.

Unfortunately, I'm only see the doctor 2 times for my whole pregnancy because they have more midwife's than doctors . I don't mind midwives to deliver my baby because they are pretty sweet from this practice. But, this OB group DID NOT give me a notice the midwives from this OB office ONLY working from Monday to Friday (from 8am to 5pm in Northside Forsyth Hospital) By the way, the doctors from this OB office are NOT working in the Northside Forsyth Hospital at all for delivery. They are ONLY working in the Sandy Spring location. What's a funny joke!!! Don't you think you should give your patients hand up to let them know as a courtesy??? So, your patients won't feel helpless when they delivered the baby! There weren't one midwives or doctors to monitor and help me when I felt a contraction and delivered even it was on their "normal business hours". I was so helpless & painful and can't you imagine???

Absolutely unacceptable I waited over an hour. I had to leave because I had to be somewhere and did not think I'd be waiting so long! I left and was asked if I was checking out. I told them no, I haven't been seen and now I have to leave. The asked if I was waiting in a room!! I said yes.... Like where else would I be?!? They asked if I want to reschedule and I said no!! I was hoping to finally get answers and I swear I think they forgot about me. The office closed at five that day. 30 minutes would not be long enough at all. I had to drive 40 minutes to get here. I wasted so much gas and time. Horrific experience and so mad because I cancelled a guitar lesson with my student and lost money because of this! I was so mad and still am annoyed! Short story: they tried to steal $990 from me, the manager hung up on me when I was fighting it…read more When I spoke to Dr. Whitmore she admitted that I never owed the $990 but blamed it on me and never once showed remorse. Please let this be a lesson to patients to advocate for themselves and always understand their bill and insurance benefits. Long story: I was initially told the total amount billed to insurance was $3300, and I owed $2000 for my deductible and nothing else. That's fine, I understood. Received a second call today stating that I also had a 30% coinsurance so I would also owe an additional $990. They said both the deductible and coinsurance applied at the same time. That is categorically false, and any simple web search will show you that you pay your coinsurance AFTER you meet your deductible. After putting down $2000 towards my bill, the leftover is $1300, and coinsurance is 30% of that amount (only $390). I was explaining this to the manager, who was so rude, said I did not understand, and hung up on me. I proceeded to call my insurance to verify that I was correct, and they said that yes I was correct, but actually I don't even have a coinsurance. So my insurance, myself, and Dr. Whitmore went on a three way call. Dr. Whitmore said "patients don't understand insurance" in a condescending manner, and said that they only planned to charge me $2000. She said that upon verification a second time they saw I never had a coinsurance, but that I never let them explain that to me. I said that they never explained it to me because the manager hung up on me. She tried to justify this by saying I was accusing them of illegal activities. I never said that, but sounds like a guilty conscience to me. Trying to charge an extra $990 with no justification IS illegal. Even if I had a coinsurance it would have never been that amount. Dr. Whitmore showed no remorse, no apology, nothing, so the call ended pretty shortly after. I canceled my appointment immediately.
