This morning was the last straw for me as they had me come in at 730 am after fasting for blood work only to have a nurse tell me they cancelled my appointment and handed me a " DISMISSAL LETTER " after going to them for over 20 years because I tested positive for marijuana that I use medicinally for my PTSD ..... yes you read that right . The next appointment was with Dr. Michelle who happens to be an NP but she was EXTREMELY kind. I went in for heartburn issues and she seemed worried and concerned that I was sick -- something that most doctors don't do. Ever since then, I've been going to this office. I moved out of Johns Creek 7 years ago and have been living in Lawrenceville & Dunwoody, and I must say I am always impressed with this office.

I took matters into my own hands and when I called back to say I think I have figured out what's going on, I don't know. I felt like they were on the other end going "derrrrrrpppp." I saw the doctor in September and I called today to get medication for the depression they diagnosed me with and they said oh sorry we can't give you medicine because we gave you a referral (and I have to wait months to get seen). They said I would have to pay for another visit to get medication. What a bummer this place is.

I scheduled a drive up rapid Covid test and was charged 456$ for that as a patient visit. I'm sorry but sitting in my car for 5 minutes while the doctor swabs my nose is not a true medical visit worthy of a 500$ patient visit. It's sad because I work in healthcare and specifically called ahead to ensure I'd only be charged for the test but a month later I receive a huge bill for 5 minutes of service. Please continue to utilize the pharmacies for testing appointments because they apparently are misrepresenting patients to get as much money out of them as possible. Seems to be a borderline case of fraud here!
