I've had some mental health issues for as long as I can remember, and during my last pregnancy I struggled with it a lot. Working with Dr. Thompson was completely different. She took my mental health into serious consideration and made sure I knew how important it was for me to take care of that as well as my physical health. She is also the reason why I started seeing a therapist; as she heavily recommended it at the beginning of the pregnancy and that on top of my medicine management made the whole experience so much healthier mentally than my first pregnancy. Despite this, she brushed off my concerns and pushed birth control anyway, offering no real explanation, alternatives, or discussion- it felt like it was prescribed simply because of my age. I also never received my lab results and had to call weeks later to find out I had a yeast infection. I was told I didn't need treatment if I "felt fine," yet no one had informed me what symptoms to look for. When I asked questions, I felt talked down to instead of helped. Overall, I felt dismissed, uninformed, and unheard. I would not return to Dr. Abaigeal Thompson or recommend her to anyone looking for a provider unless you want someone who shoves birth control down your throat. Never ended up taking the many prescriptions- thank goodness!

During this pregnancy I was seen by both doctors as well as the nurse practitioner, and everyone was wonderful. The entire pregnancy went very smoothly, and I never had any issues. Every question (labs, ultrasound, at home care, insurance/billing, etc.) were always explained clearly. Like last time, I scheduled my appointments early in the morning and never had long wait times. I can't speak for other times of the day, but mornings worked really well for me. On the day I gave birth, I actually got to see both doctors, and I saw them again the following day. They were both very kind and made sure I was comfortable. Overall, I've had such a positive experience with this office. I honestly wish my other medical appointments could be this smooth and pleasant.

Every time I went all they did was give me medicine and send me on my way not trying to find the root of my problem. I have seen Ms. Kadeja every time that I've went and I felt like she didn't care about my vaginal health at all because every time I came back with the same problem there was never a different solution and my infection has not gone away a month later and has only gotten worse. I went to another doctor today and she gave me medicine that would completely heal my infection because it has gotten "bad" since it's been a while that I've had it. I will not be coming back to this clinic because all they do is slap medicine on me as a patient without doing different testing or trying to find different solutions. I never got better and I've addressed my concerns and I didn't feel heard at all. It's really sad to see and feel unheard and to be constantly worried about my health down there as a woman and mother of 2. Please ladies, don't waste your time. There's plenty of other resources and doctors/Physician Assistants out there that actually care about the concern a of their patients.

My family members and other elderly patients that were patients for years had to find another PCP instantly! She has the best bedside manor, she is respectful and she's a great listener. She is unbelievably great with children. My son has never once cried while she was giving him his shots. Everything is exceptionally clean and all the rooms have fun different themes. They even have a special exam room for kids that have all kinds of toys for them to play with while your waiting. I've been with Dr. Arnold for 24 years and for the majority of the time, she has had the same staff. Recently a few members of the staff have been replaced with new people. I have not been impressed. Many of them are unprofessional with a lack of manors. However, Tom is great. He's quick, to the point, friendly, polite and professional. I always schedule my son and my appointments early and we are seen on time. If you are an established patient, you will find the open clinic to be helpful if you need to be seem right away. I cannot confirm the time/dates. I always avoid scheduling my appointment around that time, as the office becomes very busy and I experience a long wait.
