It was easy-peasy working withe him, we chose the paint color, and he did all the rest, buying the paint, etc. Painting is just not rolling paint on the wall, but also attention to trimmings, baseboards, and doors, in addition to prepping the walls very nicely and painting straight edges (line between trim and walls). Devil is in the details. He was very reliable and well-priced. The workmanship was very well done. He did the job done in a week, which was what we needed, and house is three levels.

We were even having new appliances delivered while he was working and although they were supposed to come with installation, the people that were sent to perform the install were hopeless and full of one excuse after the next. I turned to Miguel and he said, of course, I can take care of all of it, and he did. He even helped me out by taking my old refrigerator in his van to our new house to put in our basement. His work was done with care and for a fair price, and I just really appreciated how easy and pleasant it was to work with him and how solutions-oriented he was.

He remodeled the entire first floor (including tearing down several load-bearing walls between the office and family room, the kitchen and dining room, and relocating the laundry room), the basement, and the kitchen, working his magic on our newly purchased, 50-year-old house that had never been well cared for. James communicated with us respectfully and genuinely, always being responsive to our requests. He was attentive to details and offered a variety of alternatives to ensure our satisfaction. We also appreciated his high standards of aesthetics and quality, all at a reasonable price. Overall, we are very happy with how our place turned out under James's expert hands and are eager to have him back for remodeling our bathrooms soon.

They covered the entire house and made sure to clean up afterward. They were very polite and were totally self sufficient. When the job was finished, I placed blue tape for any touch ups and they took care of the corrections promptly. While on a ladder, one of the workers accidentally broke one of the lights on my chandelier. They found the correct part, promptly ordered and installed the new light within 4 days or so. I was very satisfied and would recommend them to my friends and family. I also asked for an estimate for re-staining my deck and the price was reasonable. Wockenfuss Painting

Wockenfuss painted my house twice. The first time he did a good job the second time I had a small…read moreissue which he would not fix for me. There was a rotten strip of wood that was not repaired during the painting process. About a week after he left I found a small rotten piece of wood over the garage door. You could put your finger through it. He told me to use wood filler and then paint it. You can fill small holes not an 18 inch strip. He told me to come back it would be $550 to do the work and I had the wood. So instead of paying that ridiculous price I called my handyman and had him do the work and buy the materials. It was $216 total. Then I filed a claim with the County Board Department of Labor for the $216. Mr. Wockenfuss did not want to pay and wrote a letter stating why and never honored the warranty or his work. I consider him a poor businessman. Yes he gives a decent price but he is not a decent person. So buyer beware. If everything goes well and he can leave rotten wood where you can't see it, you will be happy with his work. Beware if you want an honorable contractor. This happened in 2022. I was going through some old papers and decided to submit this before I throw the papers away.

So we gave them a call when we needed some interior painting done. Dave was prompt and thoughtful as he inspected our project area and he was very honest in his analysis. His pricing was fair and transparent. We ended up waiting to do the interior work during colder months when he offers discounts for interior painting. He gave us a great price and scheduled the work right away. His team did an amazing job and was very respectful, cleaning up at the end of each day. They also resolved a minor misunderstanding about paint colors with excellent customer service. We also had Wokenfus replace French doors which we had purchased most of the supplies ahead of time. They did an amazing job around the botched work of a previous contractor and made the doors look beautiful! He also provided quotes for some other interior carpentry. Unfortunately we are holding on some of that work to focus on recent water damage elsewhere. Dave seems to understand that establishing a long term trusted relationship with his clients is an important part of running his business. I hope to be able to provide an update after our exterior painting is completed.
