Sales person who came out seemed confused from when he confirmed my appointment Sunday night (not a fan of being bothered on a Sunday), ran 20 minutes late despite explicit directions, and was unprepared during the appointment which required me to repeat information already that I've shared. During my experience I couldn't help but feel the sales person was coming across sexist, ageist, and insulting with a lot of assumptions. He was also a little too curious about things that are none of his business, ironically having missed ALL of the information which would have yielded a more positive and smooth experience for me. Despite this franchise being owned by a woman which seemed like the salesperson was backpedaling to emphasize (??), the salesperson came across doubtful of the facts provided to him. It kind of felt like diversity awareness would be helpful for the sales staff so that the business appeals to a variety of customers who are seeking home finishing services. It wouldn't hurt for the staff to be coached on being professional when engaging with different (from the sales person) clientele, situations and while visiting clients' homes. I walked away with a questionable impression and wanted to warn of my experience with other non-male, post-boomer demographic seeking flooring. We could not be more pleased with the results. On their first day, John sanded part of my floor and put down 4 different stains so that I could choose the one I liked the best.
