Jonathan drove out in a snowstorm to measure my home, matching my sense of urgency. Not only has he worked hard to accommodated my timeline (project start less than a week from my inquiry) but also they're now scheduled to finish ahead of schedule. JO Floorung is a team of experts. There are many elderly residents on the street who end up having to walk from a block away because employees of the store take up minimally three to four parking spots every day. After the blizzards, when we spent many hours digging out a few precious spots, Norman's employees rolled in and took them. To make matters worse, we later discovered the word "MRSA" spray-painted on the counters that had just been installed. This entire situation was traumatic, and a police report has been filed. This was a frightening and unacceptable experience. We are sharing this to urge others to exercise caution if using this company. Make sure you know exactly who will be working in your home, and take precautions to protect your household. If they send someone named Carlos Caraballo to your home makes sure your windows and doors are locked every night there after.

We shopped around first and found AAA Hellenic to be the best combo of pricing and options. Briana Berkowitz was our primary rep to help us. Install went effectively as planned, except the bathroom counter ended up tearing up a bit of sheetrock. The guys came down and showed us immediately what happened, which we appreciated rather than try to hide something. It was relatively minor and we chalked up to cost of doing business. A week or 2 after the install, we noticed that we could see the rectangular marks they use to grip the pieces. It's minor and only noticeable in a certain light, but we could see 2 of them on our island piece. My wife worked with Briana (who worked with her manager) and they offered to either replace the piece again or offer us $600 as compensation. My wife I think wanted the piece replaced, which is kind of a pain and I was leaning toward the refund. After going back and forth on it, life got busy and we ended up doing neither. A year later, we just called and they still gave us the $600, no questions asked. It showed up in our account within 24 hours. We just saw a third rectangle, so slightly disappointed we can see those spots even if minimal, when you'd like for something this big to look perfect. So probably ~3-3.5 stars for installation. But 5 stars for service with the way they handled things, can't ask for much more. We would recommend and likely use them again in the future.

Kevin and his team were sent out as sub-contractors for the tile repair. The insurance company paired us with a project manager to handle all aspects of the demolition and re-building of our two bathrooms. Long story short - we had a terrible experience with that project manager, and their other sub-contractors (the electrician, plumber, etc). The ONLY positive experience we had through the entire process was with Love Tile and Marble. Their workmanship was superior. They showed professionalism. And just as important, they showed respect for my home. These guys put down canvas to protect my hardwood floors and wiped their boots on the mat before they came in. It may seem like small gestures. But, through the 3 months of hellish renovations and dozens of contractors in and out of my home, the respectful ones stand out. After choosing my new floor tile, Kevin made suggestions on the pattern because of the imperfections in the tile (1/3 pattern, as opposed to the 1/2 pattern I originally wanted). I agreed with his suggestion and the floors came out beautifully! We also hired him again for other work, since we were so happy with his previous work. Bottom line - Kevin and his team are utterly fantastic. Fair and reasonable prices for top quality workmanship (which I can personally attest - is tough to find these days).
