Then we opted into the blind tasting menu. 5 courses, chosen from the menu that you don't know what you're getting until it touches the table. My husband and I are pretty adventurous as far as food goes so it was perfect for us. No shit- Everything was amazing. I loved the tasting menu as it was not any dishes we were considering and I am so glad we got to try things we wouldn't have otherwise. For example, the little asparagus appetizer was the best thing we ate, on God. Like, what in the actual F ! The kind of magic they created with those little green veggies was out of this world --I didn't even want to swallow it was that delicious. There was some kind of fish crudo with beet and kumquat relish. Weird and so good! We also had some pasta with a lemon-y butter sauce and spinach and then a chicken entree. I was getting so full by the time entrees came I ate less than half of it but the skin was crispy, chicken was cooked to perfection and husband finished them both. Now yall, the dessert was a heavenly little pot of rich chocolate with a caramel base and crunchy honeycomb crisp on top. I was so full I couldn't finish it but my husband finished his and then mine.
