    Cheese pizza
    Tara H.

If you like fancy pizza, this place is for you. Walking in, it looks very modern. You know, the plain type. The type that does look good, but barely has decor. We came at lunch right when they opened with no reservation, which was fine. There was plenty of seating but it did get a little busier by the time we left. The hostess and our waitress were very nice and attentive. This place is NOT kid friendly. Which is fine... not everyplace has to be kid friendly. I just want parents to know up front that they do not have a kids menu. I asked what kid friendly options there were and our waitress suggested a few, but we decided on just a cheese pizza. This was for my 3 year old and he did not eat it, but neither did my other 2 kids (ages 7 and 11) when we brought it home. It had no seasoning and a very tomato taste. We got the poutine as an appetizer. I forgot a picture of it. My husband has had this before in Canada and he loved it. However, this one wasn't up to par. He enjoyed it, but said an authentic one is much better. I personally couldn't eat it. The gravy was just too weird. As a main course, I had the "Mikey Likes It" pizza. It was good if you like basil. It was very heavy on the basil. It was a bit burnt though. My husband had the special which was a chopped cheese. He said it was good, but nothing to brag about. I'm not a sauerkraut fan, the bite I had was good, but I wouldn't have been able to eat all of it. The fries as a side were good and crunchy. Overall, we probably won't be back. It's just not our style. Not our type of "fancy" food. This is one of those "mark of I've been there" things. Give it a try for yourself because it's not terrible.

I had a lot of appointments today and decided to treat myself to lunch. I've heard really good things about this place and I was in the mood for pizza. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was excited about something different. As I approached the restaurant my excitement turned into frustration due to the not so good parking. It worked out I got parked and my excitement quickly returned. I was very warmly greeted and seated even though I didn't have a reservation. I ordered one of The Seasonal Pizzas called Streets of Brookhaven. I could tell by the ingredients it was going to be delicious. It's topped with mozzarella, Nduja, ricotta, fig, sausage balsamic and honey. I was concerned that the nduja would be too spicy, it wasn't. if I was forced to improve it in any way, I would have had it be a little hotter. My first experience here was wonderful, I enjoyed the decor and the bathrooms were beautiful. I would highly recommend this place.

Return visit was awful today. Pizza was greasy and had only one flavor. The wedge was awful and taste bitter and like romaine had been frozen and at the price of $16. Just skip the salad. My last two experiences I can really tell they must be struggling. The food isn't very fresh anymore and seems uninspired. What happened? This was once a great place to eat. The food is greasy and salty. Ingredients seem less quality. I don't know what is going on but I really used to love this place. New vendors, new management, new something? The atmosphere is now very loud too. Hard to even have a convo with someone next to you, The vibe is just weird. The brand is messy but has potential. At one time, it seemed don't had a vision and now has lost that. My gosh, atleast switch the menu up occasionally. Let the chefs test out new things. You're just winding out the same meal on a different plate, not inspiration. The service is beyond slow and food is sub par at best. Just save your money. This place was trendy for a bit and offered good things. Someone's vision has gotten lost or they are having a hard time staying afloat and the ingredients suffer. I've been twice now back to Back to be sure. I regretted spending that shooting of money both times.

My friend took me here for dinner and I was not ready for the experience I had. We sat at the bar and the bar didn't miss a beat. I ordered Pig Ears (never thought I would eat this). It was delicious. We had the oysters and they were good but the new menu item was FIRE. It was squash with rice and duck confit and some type sauce. When I tell you hands down the best squash dish I ever had. It melted in my mouth. It was like a featured dish that was hitting the menu the next day. Do yourself a favor and order this. I also ordered the collard greens and they slapped. My margaritas were on point as well. The staff were amazing and the restaurant was very nice. Do yourself a favor and valet. I loved everything about this place and will def be back.

Just moved from houston to memphis and decided to try this place with friends. Made a reservation and our table was ready when arrived! The inside was very nice, clean and had good ambiance. The drink was very good, not crazy alcohol flavor and not too sweet. A bit pricy but not too bad. The brussels were very good! Had a bit of a vinegar taste too it. The fungus pizza also very good- could have had more goat cheese and mushrooms but good flavor. The dessert was also good. Overall the food was good but a bit pricy!

Thunderbird Pizza: loved the honey. The crust was chewy and nicely blackened. Really loved the dough. Great pizza all around. Wedge Salad: I haven't had many wedge salads before, as I never understood the hype. This one was REALLY good, though. Dressing was actually delicious. Dang, I am very impressed. This was actually my favorite dish from the night. Collards: a tiny bit on the sour side, but this was tasty. Collards were very tender! Soup was nice and savory. Service was very good. The interior of the restaurant is very spacious and beautiful.

Food was ok. There was hardly any porkbelly on tots. Tried on Valentines weekend for Sunday brunch.

The coolest atmosphere!! The food was incredible & friendly staff! Be sure to call & make a reservation ahead of time if planning for a group, because it seems to stay busy. 10/10

    Crab claws

Absolutely delicious! We ordered the crab claws and my husband and I agreed these may be the best crab claws we're tried! And he's hard to please with sautéed claws as he's a fried guy! Next we had the thunderbird 40 twice pizza. It came out looking and smelling so good I forgot to get a picture! The hot honey really brings out the flavors of the pizza without overpowering it. Our waitress recommended we save the sauce from the crab claws to dip the crust in. That's a must do if you have the crab claws. We finished dinner with the peanut butter pie. I was worried it was be too banana-y but it was perfect! 10/10 food, service and the restaurant is so beautifully decorated. Do make a reservation though! We came in at 5:30 and by 6 every table was full!

Coming with a group, and we've got a one-year-old. I can't remember if there are high chairs, but it feels like it would relatively child-friendly?

I remember there were high chairs. It gets a little packed so i would call ahead to reserve a table and the amount in your party.

Do they still have gluten free pizza? I don't see it on the menu. Thanks!

Depending on the seasonal menu, almost every pizza can be made gluten free for a slight upcharge. Ask your server for further details.

The Italian bread with herbs was delicious, and every appetizer we tried -- from the cheese fritters to the calamari -- was excellent. I chose the smoked chicken ravioli for my entrée, and it was truly delectable. We finished dinner with key lime pie for dessert, and it was mmm good. Overall, the meal was fabulous. My only complaint was the air-conditioning, which felt brutally cold at times. Thankfully it wasn't on continuously, but I couldn't help wondering -- why is the AC blasting on a cold January night? Fried artichokes lacked flavor with the breading or artichoke themselves. Blackened chicken tortellini was pretty good, just a little too salty. My husband's "tomato sauce" for his veal parmigiana had such a strange flavor, like an entire bottle of worcestershire sauce was dumped into it. Veal was either really tough or the silverware was too dull, because he really had to hack it to cut it. I really hope they make their focaccia in house, because that was the best bite of the meal.

I was wearing my "mom clothes" and we had our toddler with us. Not once did I not feel welcomed though. Our waiter was super nice, very helpful with the menu options. I wish I had gotten his name (we actually dined over 3 months ago and I'm just getting to this review!). He seemed to have been busy, but never let it affect his performance. Now on to the food. My goodness, it was delicious and I have been craving to go back. First off, I appreciate that they are a kid friendly place. I understand not every place has to be, but when a place offers something for kids, it just makes the dining experience even better for me. They were out of the kids cheese pizza, but our waiter did a cheese flatbread for my son. I mean, that alone was good, but my entree was the best! I had the basil pesto tortellini. All the flavors came together perfectly in it. Highly recommend! My husband got the bbq chicken flatbread, one of the best flatbreads we've had. Seriously! As an appetizer, we got the baked spinach dip. It had so much flavor and pairing it with those house made tortilla chips were just the extra it needed. The only thing that was disappointing was the tiramisu. We have had better. The espresso flavor just wasn't enough for my liking. We'll be back for sure! Maybe a date night for dinner.

Again try the calamari with the gouda cheese. Dining was very elegant and setting was romantic. Felt upper class by Monday, today. Compliments to the Chef and for management for fitting us into the schedule. Well done!

Moody lighting, low rumble of noise and music you enjoy but don't notice. My kinda place. Rye was our server and she was excellent. Not only top-notch recommendations but also let us know about the tasting menu- I can't wait to come back to try the off-menu one they do the last Wednesday of every month. We got raw oysters to start and chose the seasonal preparation. It was almost like frozen lemonade crème fresh, but with the brine of the oysters it just worked. Would def order again! We started with a whiskey sour and AM old fashioned. Both great but mine was so good my husband ordered another round of them for us before we got a bottle of red. I don't recall what bottle it was but it worked perfectly as it wasn't too heavy and swung easily from apps/pasta/entrees. Then we opted into the blind tasting menu. 5 courses, chosen from the menu that you don't know what you're getting until it touches the table. My husband and I are pretty adventurous as far as food goes so it was perfect for us. No shit- Everything was amazing. I loved the tasting menu as it was not any dishes we were considering and I am so glad we got to try things we wouldn't have otherwise. For example, the little asparagus appetizer was the best thing we ate, on God. Like, what in the actual F ! The kind of magic they created with those little green veggies was out of this world --I didn't even want to swallow it was that delicious. There was some kind of fish crudo with beet and kumquat relish. Weird and so good! We also had some pasta with a lemon-y butter sauce and spinach and then a chicken entree. I was getting so full by the time entrees came I ate less than half of it but the skin was crispy, chicken was cooked to perfection and husband finished them both. Now yall, the dessert was a heavenly little pot of rich chocolate with a caramel base and crunchy honeycomb crisp on top. I was so full I couldn't finish it but my husband finished his and then mine. We also ordered a little affogato and it was perfect to finish the meal. I will absolutely be back and look forward to trying their other restaurants in the near future!!!
