    Avocado toast
    NoOneUkNow N.

Clean, quiet, great customer service however... I was severely disappointed when u paid $11.00 ford for what would be maybe $2.50 worth of food. Their avocado toast is a rip off! 1 Super thin small piece of bread doctored up to look fancy... smh

I stopped in for a coffee last Sunday before church. never been in, but a very convenient location- store is adorable , super cute and photo ready!!! i got a large salted caramel iced , and honestly it was okay. also the prices for such a tiny large was insane. it was 9$ for a tiny coffee , and it took 8 ish minutes with only one person ahead of me. I'm not mad and i would try it again but the coffee wasn't my favorite but the food looked good. unfortunately I Didn't get to try because i was in a rush. overall very meh and ill try again and hope for better experiences :)

Byrd House Salad with Cilantro Lime Dressing

I got the Byrd House salad with cilantro lime dressing and it was delicious! So happy to see such a nutritionally and environmentally conscious restaurant like this here in Oxford

Great tasting food that is healthy and completely gluten free. If you are gluten free for health issues and worry about cross contamination when eating out, then you get the excitement at finding somewhere you can safely enjoy. Side note: there is parking behind the strip of businesses. We were chastised by the owner of one establishment to not park in front of their place and visit other businesses, even though we planned to visit hers. Not any more.

Majik Mint Juice and Morning Glory Muffin

Y'all have to try this place, it is AMAZING!!! I am gluten-free so it is extremely hard for me to find options here in Oxford that are fresh and not out of a box. But this place is so good! Everything is completely gluten free so you wont have to worry about any cross contamination. I always get the Morning Glory Muffin(the best). The avocado toast is really good too, slices are small but that's just because the bread is gluten free. The turkey quinoa bowl was amazing as well. It is on the pricer side but if you are a college student they will do discounts during finals week, which is great! Staff has been so friendly, helpful and talkative every time I walk in there. Makes me feel welcome! As for juices I haven't had the chance to try them all they but the Majik Mint is my favorite right now. Very cute breakfast/lunch area! Reminds me of a lot of places back home in California.

We were back visiting Oxford and decided to try Byrdhouse for our morning coffee run. There were three of us and one ordered a 12oz iced latte, and the other 2 ordered 16oz, but for some reason we were all given the same size cup and it appeared to be 12oz. My vanilla latte cost 9 dollars and was tiny. While the drink itself is okay.... it certainly is not worth the money spent on it. Mine was made with coconut milk and the milk is curdled at the top which just honestly looks unappealing, I feel like there should be a way to remedy that. I don't typically post reviews but I feel that this place needs to step up their game in order to continue to get business.

Saw some strange things while we waited (38 minutes) to be seated. This seems to be a pretty popular place here and I wouldnt be surprised if they just opened recently.

Two stars for the food that was very tasty. However…read more.. Went to Sunday brunch, which is their busiest time. Told the wait was about 30 minutes. No problem. After 50 minutes, I inquired and miracles or miracles! A table was open! Yeah, ok. Nice table, nice server. We order juices--very nice--and my wife orders soup and sandwich and I order a veggie burger. About ten minutes later, they bring out a soup and sandwich and a turkey burger. I point out the error and they apologize to say that the replacement is coming urgently. Well, I sat there for ten minutes watching my wife eat and after mine came, she sat there watching me eat. Before anyone says it might have been a kitchen error, the server admitted to putting in the wrong dish. I go to pay, and the cashier (manager?) asks me how everything was, and I tell him. He essentially shrugs and says that Sundays are like that. No apology, no offer to comp a drink or even say that he hopes we still come back. He didn't seem at all bothered by our less than satisfactory experience. It's ok, though--Oxford has a ton of restaurants open on Sunday morning.

Before we could enter the restaurant, however, we had to wade through all the smokers littering the entrance. Cough! We sat down at a table we chose along the perimeter across from the band. I wish I knew the name of the band, but it was a 3 piece band with a female singer, her son on the guitar, and another guy playing drums. They were good. She sang a song she wrote called the Delta. Great lyrics! My husband and I both ordered the French toast with a hash brown on the side. It took forever and honestly, I was getting a little concerned about all the people who kept coming in and out from outside and into what seemed the kitchen area. Our food arrived and it had great presentation and generous portions. Real French bread used! It was very good! After our meal, the female band leader as well as the owner of the restaurant came over to chat. Very friendly and nice conversation with all. Sadly, when we arrived home from our long drive, let's just say, the food did not sit well in our stomach. It was the only meal we had before arriving home. Another restaurant meal I have to pray was prepared with love.
