I decided to try to find a more affordable place to do my laundry. I went to JP Park Laundromat for the first time. Since the establishment is small, the smaller wash loaders were taken up by the four other people in the establishment. I had to use the large loader ($4.75) each. The double loader has a double wash option, which I chose. I did my laundry as usual (using oxiclean to boost the laundry), sprinkled my detergent in the clothes in the washer, and did full scoops for the first wash and the second wash. My clothes were not cleaned. I had a black tank top with deodorant stains on the armpit, and it did not come out at all. I attached the image of the tank top after I washed it twice in the large machine loader. These washers suck. The smell of the water smells like toilet water. I will not be coming back here again. And now I just dumped $9.50 down the drain for poor machines. read more

First things first. This was the *worst* soup I have ever had. It tasted like detergent, and it had someone's dirty socks floating in it... Huh? What's that hon? This is a Laundromat? Oh, OK, maybe I shouldn't have had that soup.... my tummy hurts. Wait, why am I reviewing a Laundromat on Yelp? Isn't Yelp for restaurants? I'm confused... JP Park is a great laundromat. They have DIY coin-op machines, as well as a drop and go service. GF and I needed to wash clothes, and didn't want to use the machines at the hotel. Prices are good, the place is clean, it wasn't crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of carts and room for folding clothes. Seating is a little thin, with just a few chairs and stools, but that's OK. The machines are quick, so you don't feel like you are going to be there forever. I think most folks use the Wash and Fold service, so it isn't crowded. And there is plenty of food within walking distance, so if you need some lunch, you're good. The crew there is amazing. They have a great system of ticketing the laundry, and they fold clothes faster than I have ever seen. If I ever need to return, I am going to be lazy and let them wash and fold for me. I enjoy doing my laundry here. On Sunday's it's always easy to find parking out front, there's a few things in walking distance to keep you busy while you wait in Rutherford (Library, bagel shop, Dunkin donuts, VEGAN cupcake spot, etc) They have a triple load washer for 4.75, which seems a little steep. They also have a double loader for 2.75 but I think calling it a double load might be a stretch cause it seems kinda tight. The dryers are a qtr for 8min, I usually use 5. The machines only take quarters so when you're feeding them into the dryer it starts to get ridiculous around the 12 qtr mark. Everything's always been pretty clean. And I've never had to wait to get a machine. They have 2 TVs, a little table waiting area, and a little bar area. I've always been comfortable. You can also drop off your clothes here, but I haven't done that yet. They have a Vending machine for 'suds n such' and drinks and snacks. Of course a coin machine read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would! I literally came into this laundry mat loooking for a new place. I came in with a bag full of new clothes. Some people actually wash clothes that they buy before wearing them. I put the clothes on one of the folding tables and the lady working the counter told me to take my dirty clothes off the table and to put it in a car.i turned around and said excuse me. And she went off. She assumed I didn't speak Spanish. Insulting me and saying I'm uneducated and what not. I told her that it's extremely rude to talk like that to customers. And it's extremely rude to tel people that they are dirty. And I explained that the clothes were new and that I was just washing before wearing. And she called me a liar and said I wouldn't be at a laundromat if the clothes weren't dirty. And I told her to stop and understand that her job is to work here. Not give customers insight on how to wash clothes or live there lives. And I spoke to her in Spanish and told her that just because I place clothes on a table doesn't mean I am not educated. And then I tried to be the bigger person and let it go. I went up to purchase detergent. And she ignored me for a while 7 minutes. And then another customer came in to drop off and she took care of him first and then finally took care of me. I mean this is horrible! read more

Dirty and rude customer service. When I told the woman who worked there that she was nasty she told me to "f" off.

How can you get excited about a laundromat? When wash 'n fold means a big bag of crumpled clothes that are returned in a teeny tiny bag, expertly folded with no wrinkles and smelling fresher than a botanical garden. I've been doing my laundry here for 10 years...never again. They lost my business. I put my items in the dryer and left (like I've done for the past 10 years). I came back within minutes of the dryer finishing to find that they had sorted through the items I had placed in the dryer and took out all of the towels, leaving them sopping wet in a basket while my linens dried. I know that if the owner had done this, he would have put the towels in another dryer, started it, and told me what he had done. The owners wouldn't have just sorted through my items I had put in the dryer and left them completely wet in a basket. I told them not to touch my stuff ever again and the two women that worked there went off on me. There were already 5 cops in the store (for a different matter) and they didn't intervene. I told them again and again and again, "Don't touch my stuff!" This isn't the first time I've caught them going through my things. It's not like I leave the items in the machines longer than a few minutes after it's done. I can understand if they needed the machine, but that was not the case in any of the instances they removed my items. They are actually going through my things. Who goes through someone's dryer and takes stuff out of it and leaves the laundry sopping wet in a basket? This place does. I'm highly disappointed. They lost my business and I'm making sure that others I know that go here stop doing business there. People in my building had already discussed the issues of this happening before, but taking out my towels after I had left them to dry in the dryer...takes the cake. No more. read more

Dryers suck! Takes forever to dry a small amount of clothes. I'm use to dryers that are very hot and dry fast. Looks like I have to travel out of town to my old spot :( read more

Don't be surprised by overpriced washers. You need to reinsert quarters a lot because of faulty machines. Avoid this place unless you need a big machine. It does have clean surfaces. read more
