I highly recommend JP Plumbing. These are the rarest of the people on earth who are very honest. I wanted them to replace my old water heater. But Lewis, the expert came and inspected the system and said I don't need to replace but fix certain things. He inspected this for free. No one does free service these days. He could have easily earned a few hundred dollars, if I has just asked him to install a new heater. I hired them for installing new gas dryer. They did at a very reasonable price. I compared with other service providers. They gave crazy numbers. These people are affordable and above all very reliable. They come with shoe covers and make sure your house stays clean. I had an emergency water issue in which my water main broke between the street and the house and I called JP Plumbing to help. After talking with Luis he indicated that his company was unable to perform the work but continued to provide information and called me back 3 times and responded to text messages as I was trying to figure out what I could do to remedy the issue until I could identify a plumber that could handle certain excavation and removal work. This guy is honest and helpful even after knowing he won't make any money on that deal. He is a stand up guy and I highly recommend reaching out to these guys! I had some issue with the main drain slow down. I have tried a few different chemicals and none worked. I called JP Plumbing office in the morning, Jose came around 3 pm. With the 70 ft snake, he was able to quickly unclog the drain. The office gave me a quote before I agreed the job. Unlike a younger plumber from another shop, Jose knew what he was doing. I don't usually take the time to write reviews but the service I received from JP Plumbing was awesome. I woke up to a puddle of water on my kitchen floor and the sink under my cabinet was drenched. Luis came out within 3 hours of me calling the company, diagnosed a leaky faucet and fixed the issue within minutes for the cost of a service call. He also gave me a reasonable bid for other work. On top of that, he was very friendly and advised me on how to protect my sprinkler system overflow from bursting in freezing temperatures. Excellence is hard to find these days. I called them Friday morning with hot water issue they were at my house within an hour and had a new water heater on order by lunch time. Christian and Luis came out first thing today (Monday) and installed a new water heater. Super nice guys and very informative on what I should do to take care of my brand new water heater. I would like to say that JP Plumbing is AWESOME! I had received a few recommendations to them as I was in dire need of a plumber. I had a horrible clog that started in my kitchen then ran though the lines in laundry and bathroom. Apparently, the way my lines are I needed a certain machine which not all comp have. He gave me some companies to call but he did try to clear for over an hour but no luck. He told me he could try something else, but it could do some damage and suggest I try the comp with that machine. They did not charge me since I was a first-time customer. We first began using this company when the garbage disposal failed in our newly purchased home. The home warranty covered its replacement, and the warranty company sent Armando from JP Plumbing. He did such a great job and was so pleasant that I asked him to fix the temperature-and-pressure valve on the water heater, which had been installed incorrectly prior to our purchase of the home. While he was here, I asked him to give me an estimate to install a gas line running into the kitchen so we could replace the electric cooktop with a gas version. His estimate wasn't the lowest one we received, but at $500, it was only $50 to $80 higher than the next lowest one; plus, because of our previous experiences with Armando, as well as the fact that he specified galvanized pipe as opposed to a flexible line, we awarded him the job. He has just completed that task and the cooktop will be installed tomorrow. The people who answer the phones are as nice as can be; they keep good records and they keep their word. Armando always calls to tell me when he's on his way and he is very punctual. He communicates clearly, has integrity, is friendly, and leaves his work areas as clean as or cleaner than he found them. read more

JP Plumbing is an extremely professional plumbing company -- from the scheduling, dispatcher and plumber. Our sink backed up and we called our home warranty around 5pm and they told us an individual from JP Plumbing will call in 24 hours. Like other companies, they did not wait till the 24th hour to call -- the called us first thing in the morning and gave us a 4 hour window. Note that they can give you a 30 min or 1 hour advance call before the plumber arrives. Let's just say it didn't work out on my end and I was not a happy camper and despite my frustration and "emotionalness", Patty and Willie the dispatchers listened, still very professional and courteous and made a way to have Jose come my home where I immediately apologized for the badness. He was gracious and immediately took care of the sink. Thank you for your kindness and graciousness! A+ in my book -- not many businesses are like this anymore. read more

From the dispatcher to the plumbers everyone was so kind, knowledgeable, and professional. Chris fixed my shower two months ago and it has worked great ever since. Jose and Rafael came to fix the gas line to my stove and leaking toilet. They were amazing!!! They knew exactly what needed to be fixed and repaired everything in a timely manner. LOVE this plumbing company. I called them to give me a quote on some inspection items that needed to be fixed before closing on my house. On the day of my appointment, they arrived on time, were professional and courteous. My quote was very reasonable also. By the time I was ready to hire, an emergency item came up and they gave me the best price to fix it. I'd only chosen a few items from the inspection report to repair but they ended up completing another minor item for free. We had a leak in an interior wall, and I needed someone ASAP. Patty, in the office, went out of her way to arrange a technician to come to the house that afternoon. She was very polite and extremely helpful. She called me to let me know when Luis was on his way. When he arrived, he immediately knew exactly what the problem was, which was a backed up AC condensation line. He showed me specifically what was happening with the pipes, then asked me to watch him fix it so that I'd know how to clean out the lines if this ever happens in the future, and also gave me tips on how to avoid this happening again. He was very polite, very professional, and cleaned up after his work was done. On his way out, I happened to mention a running toilet, and he said he'd fix that, too. Absolutely the worst plumbing company I have ever used!!! They were a referral from American Home Shield (AMS) my home warranty company. Patty contacted me and we set an appt. to unclog my master bathroom shower drain. They unclogged it initially but then a short time later it was back doing the same thing. I again went through AMS and because of the recall for the same job AHS said the call would be free for me. Patty contacted me and gave me the choice of two appts. one that was in 30 minutes or the next day for a 4 hour window. I asked for a first morning appt. and was told they had no appts. till after Christmas, that would have been for four weeks. Patty continued to be rude and unprofessional. I contacted AHS who called her and suddenly they had an appt. the following Monday at 8 a.m. That appt. was suppose to be this morning, after 3 calls to them from AHS they never showed up and after AHS talked to Patty who continued to lie....initally she said the plumber left the shop at 8 a.m., then she said it would be 30 minutes before they arrived, then that changed to it would be 45 minutes before they arrived after the 3rd call back. If you feel like having your time wasted and dealing with the complete idiot they have answering the phone give them a call. If not call a plumber who truly shows up for appts. and can do plumbing. I acutally would give them no stars but this blog doesn't allow that. THEY DESERVE NO STARS! read more

I would not recommend this company.my home warranty (at the time) arranged for their services.They sent a technician named Angel to service a water heater.This man did not even know the correct setting to use for his test equipment that tests for electrical current.My husband had to show him how to use it.We did not agree with his disgnosis and repairs were not performed.Angel did not put the unit back together properly.He left the cover off the themostat.So when put back together wires were left in direct contact with insulation.They were out on a Monday and Saturday afternoon the unit caught on fire in my garage.1 star is a generous rating considering the lack off knowledge of the technician and the resulting fire.I will seek recourse through the appropriate channels.WARNING:SEEK SERVICE FROM DIFFERENT COMPANY. read more

This company truly understands what good old fashioned customer service means. We had the Gas Company come to check for a possible gas leak and they ended up advising us that they had checked our water heater and could not get the pilot to stay on, so they had closed the line and suggested we get a plumber to come look at it. My wife had JP Plumbing's tel number written down under our Kitchen sink so I called them first. Luis was VERY informative during my initial call, infact going at great length to advise me of a list of things that may be the cause of the problem depending on the water heater model I was having a problem with. A quick email with some photographs led to their response that they believed it was a thermocouple replacement issue and they gave me a competitive estimate. They accommodated my request for a extremely early call (as I needed to be at work that day) and I was pleasantly surprised that Luis was a full half hour early (6.30am) ready for the appointment. He proceeded to show me, in great detail, of what was wrong and since it was a simple fix, what I could do to troubleshoot and fix it myself if I felt comfortable. He then proceeded to check the rest of the 'system' out, found another issue, took the time to show and explain it all to me and also fixed that issue. Overall, a solid, reliable, honest company that I would not hesitate to recommend to anybody else, and will be using for all my plumbing needs going forward. read more
