The home builder never actually glued the PVC water line which eventually separated. Everybody had their act together. They showed up on time. Both days and fixed the main and reinforced it. I can't tell you how much I hate these people. First of all, thank you s&b for sending me spam mail. I've waited two years to find you again so I can warn everyone about your business practices. I hired this company to fix the shower knobs in my parent's house back in 2017. I was visiting at the time (I don't live in Texas) and I was leaving for the airport that day. They came over and "assessed" the situation - two elderly people, don't know squat about plumbing, my bags packed at the door, and an urgent situation. They took one look at the shower. Literally 3 seconds and said "oh, you have to replace the whole copper plumbing behind the wall". Why does it need to be replaced? They were happy to show me. They cut a hole in the wall, used a torch to cut out the main part that connects the hot/cold lines to the knobs (all copper)... showed it to me and said.... see, IT'S ALL BENT FROM USE. Think about this for a second... a) it was behind the wall, so how could they know that just by looking at it, b) copper piping that thick doesn't just bend or get twisted out of shape from turning the hot/cold knobs. The job should have been a simple replacement of the hot/cold knobs which were loose. Look at the photo of my receipt to see how they chalked this one up. It's worded in a way that makes it seem like they did a routine install. I was in no position to argue because I had to leave. If I didn't get it fixed that day my parents wouldn't be able to shower or get someone to fix it later. I can't express how much I hate your company, your staff, and I sincerely hope your company goes under. read more

When they sign up for a job, they ensure that it is done right and the fix that they performed did not cause another problem. As an example, one of the times they came to unclog AC drain. After unclogging the drain and and made sure that the drain pipe is cleaned thoroughly, they checked my downstairs for my downstairs faucet, that is using the same channel is not clogged by the the cleanout from upstairs. That is not just doing the job right. It is going above and beyond. It happened that the cleanout did not obstruct my downstairs drain. I am sure if the downstairs was affected by the upstairs issue, they would have addressed it without charging me. Their workmanship is exemplary and their service is from the office to the worksite is outstanding. Brent immediately noticed the handle was installed upside down! And on further inspection, he realized all the interior parts were wrong. We called Moen on the spot and he was able to explain exactly what was wrong and what was needed. Moen has a lifetime warranty and sent all the requested parts. Drain from washing machine was clogged. I called this morning (Friday) and they put me on their schedule same day. Stephen and his assistant called to say they were on their way and they were even earlier than expected. Love it! Fixed the drain within an hour. Ran the washing machine and let it drain twice to make sure it was draining properly. They were very nice, professional and left everything clean. I plan on using them again. 5 BIG STARS for S&B! We had a leak between the meter and the house. We are on acreage, so the distance is 225 ft. My husband had placed a flag where he thought the leak would be. Another company gave us two options- they would start digging from the meter back towards the house for $65 per foot until they located the leak, ($1950 to start by our estimation), plus charges for any parts and repairs. Or, they would replace the whole line for $11,100! From pictures I sent to Cierra at S&B, Bo called me and took the time to explain the base charge for digging ($375) and the hourly charge. Then, he repeated it on a separate call to my husband. His crew came out immediately and took care of the whole job (they found the leak within a foot of my husband's flag) in 90 minutes for $415.50!
