Found Jeremy Pratt on Yelp {thank you very much} so feel the need to post my review here... After a lot of research regarding my options when it came to replacing my swamp cooler with a full house AC system I stumbled on J Pratt Heating and AC. The AC industry in is in transition to new government mandated refrigerants. I was seeing estimates of around $11,000 to put AC into our 1,400 square foot home here in Payson. Given the coming monsoon season with most certainly higher temps and humidity {which greatly reduces the effectiveness of swamp coolers} We made the commitment to upgrade after 6 years. Happily our home had been prewired/plumbed for an AC system which greatly simplified the installation. Jeremy had wisely stocked up on Night and Day units, one of which {a 3 ton system} was a perfect match to the existing electrical heat system we have relied on for heat only. This allowed us to avoid a heat pump/AC replacement system that I felt would be less than optimum given the low temps we experience every winter. Jeremy's team did an incredible job on the install wrapping it up in 4.5 hours. The Day and night system came with a 10 year warranty {parts and refrigerant are readily available}. The unit is very quiet {72db} and is chilling our home nicely. The out the door/fully installed cash price was $6,500. We could not be more pleased. read more

J Pratt was great to work with! Not only did they return calls in a timely fashion, Jeremy answered all our questions before we made our final decision. When they completed the job, replacing a 17 year old heat pump/A/C unit, they did so in a professional manner! They also installed our new smart thermostats and walked us through the process of downloading the app and setting the unit up. The exhaust blower motor on our furnace quit working. We called two other places that do work in our area. One didn't bother to return our call, the other said they would come, but never showed up. JPratt Heating and Cooling Company came when they said they would be here. The technician was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.
