I stopped in for some weekend purchases and was very impressed with the store's inventory, look and feel, and staff. Six Mile Wine & Spirits has a ton of minibottles, including selections I haven't seen in other stores. There's even a cooler with cold mini bottles- great if you're heading straight to the pool. The store hopes to have another cooler with chilled wine selections before the hot summer months, and they plan to offer wine tastings. The workers are eager to make recommendations and help you find new drinks you'll like. I mentioned liking Bailey's Irish Cream, and Eric recommended an alternative (Saint Brendan's) that is a little cheaper and tastes a bit better since it's made with real dairy cream. The shopping center has everything we need now, and Six Mile Wine & Spirits is a great addition to the Magwood Rd. area. Welcome to West Ashley!

This store has any kind of alcohol you need for a very reasonable price, and it's definitely cheaper than the other ABC shops in the area. If you're looking for mini bottles, Port City Liquors is the place to come. I've never seen a liquor store with such a huge selection of mini bottles, ranging in price from 50 cents up (but still under $2). It's ideal if you live alone or don't drink often. I found many "minis" I'd never seen before, including a pumpkin spice Bailey's Irish Cream (that should be delicious in pumpkin spice coffee). Of course, everything is available in a larger bottle, too. This store's all about the booze, so you won't find snacks or bar ware, but I have all that at home. There's a large parking lot and access is an easy in/out onto Ashley River Rd.
