I found Dr. Rosenthal by searching for an in-network podiatrist in my neighborhood. I made an appt sight unseen & didn't know anything about him; I hadn't even read reviews here. I went because I was having heel pain & suspected plantar fasciitis. I've never been to a podiatrist. I was very happy with Dr. Rosenthal. Great bedside manner & he literally put his finger on the right spot immediately. I left with a special boot to use for 2 weeks to stretch my foot. He wanted to give me a shot in my foot for pain but I declined & he was fine with that. I'm due to go back in 2 weeks, bring him my current running shoes & get a mold of my foot made, which will become an insert for me to wear in my running shoes. After one night with the boot, I saw an immediate improvement, so I am optimistic that I won't have to give up running, tennis, etc. Parking is super easy. I highly recommend him; super chill guy, easy on the eyes too. :-) read more

I was terrified as I had badly broken a toe ( my first ever bone fracture). He reviewed the X-rays and totally put my mind at ease. I'm sad to report that I feel very disappointed in this podiatrist. Upon two occasions he did not remedy my foot situation and in both instances he billed me for the unpaid portion of my deductible. I have seen many doctors over the years, and in most cases, they write off the unpaid portion from the insurance company. Not this guy. It's too bad, because I do like him personally. I will have to look for another podiatrist which is unfortunate, because he is close to where I live. Aren't medical costs high enough? read more

This is my first review on yelp. I just haaad to write one. Seriously the sweetest man ever! My mom & I were nervous going in because my mom hasnt seen a pediatrist in a while. Our appt was scheduled at 2:30 & we were out the door by 3. Nice & fast . He took such good care of my mom. She was so greatful & amazed with how fast & painless it felt. He also explained everything he was doing & was very careful with my mom; especially being shes diabetic. He even gave us some extra gauze & stuff to take home so we dont rush & buy supplies. I am no stranger to foot injuries having broken my ankle in 3 places requiring surgery and almost a year off my foot which resulted in having to give up the job I had since it required lots of standing and lifting which I wasn't ready to resume. About 3 weeks ago I started having pain under the balls of my right foot which kept getting worse whenever I would walk on hard surfaces so decided it was time to see a doctor. I decided to try a podiatrist locally and found Dr. Rosenthal/Airport Podiatry thru the internet. Dr. Rosenthal immediately suspected Plantar fasciitis according to where the pain was. I was really surprised since I had plantar in the heel severals years ago so he took the time to show me a picture of the foot and explain that the plantar tendons run along the same area where I was having pain. He also had an x-ray done which showed up some nerve stress on top of the foot which explains why I was also having problems there. He prescribed a foot brace to help stretch the calves and he also put some pading in my shoes/sandals. To my surprise my foot started feeling better within a day as I continued the stretching exercises. It was good that he explained everything to me so I could visualize how everything connected together. It's been 2 weeks now and happy to report that my foot is 90% better with the nerve issue gone. I feel very fortunate that I found Dr. Rosenthal and recommend him highly to anyone with foot issues. read more

Explained my numbness and tingling in my toes (which made perfect sense with my current activities), gave me an injection, and we'll follow-up in a month. That says a lot, since two years ago I moved to an hours drive away from his office. 5/25/2018 went in to get in-grown toe-nail removal. dr david liss attended to my procedure. very knowledgeable & explained all the options that were available to me for my case. the only painful process was the injections to numb my toe. after that, i did not feel anything during the in-grown toe-nail removal. read more

I have been going to Dr. Rosenthal for two years so far for my plantar fasciitis and his orthodics have worked wonders and i am mostly pain free. Another family member has seen Dr. Liss (also in this office) for other issues and found him very good too. Both men are super sweet and caring and seem interested in you as a person, which is very rare in my experience. I never feel like he is rushing through an exam. The only negative part of the experience is his office help. The main office person is quite unfriendly and even harsh and actually once yelled at me for being 15 minutes late and not calling, and it's not as if i haven't waited 15 minutes to be seen before. The desk staff never smile and do not show much customer service. Over the phone they are not very helpful and a couple of times i have gotten two different stories depending who i speak to. It is unfortunate that dealing with the front desk staff is so unpleasant so be forewarned. read more

Dr Rosenthal stopped my pain in one visit! After 7 years of pain and 2 other podiatrists, I'd given up hope in getting the swelling and pain to stop in my right foot. One visit to Dr Rosenthal and I was out of pain and walking normally. He made minor adjustments to my existing orthotic, without costing me the expense of a whole new set. Dr. Rosenthal was extremely personable. Went in for foot pain, turns out I had a neroma. He tried the least invasive way to relieve the pain - a shot, but to no avail, the pain continued. Ended up having surgery to remove the neroma. Easy to schedule surgery with his office and the hospital. Dr. Rosenthal calmed my nerves, removed the neroma, and now I am pain free. I woke up again to pain in the achilles tendon area of my foot. This had been going on for months. That day I had had enough and I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Rosenthal. I had an appointment within two days of my call. I had a calendar conflict and was given another appointment a day earlier. I saw Dr. Rosenthal and he diagnosed the problem immediately. Diagnosis- inflammation of the achilles tendon. The solution to the problem was a small lift in the shoe, over the counter inflammatory pills, proper exercises, rest, and a little weight lost would help. Thanks to Dr. Rosenthal' diagnosis accompanied by a great bedside manner, a great staff and my renewed knowledge of what I needed to do I walked and not limped out of his office with a smile. He has helped me immensly a few times and even gave me a better price when I did not have insurance. He is very upbeat, friendly and genuinely concerned.
