He truly listens, and his expertise can make any vision come true. Honestly, he should be charging more. I have naturally dirty blonde hair and it's been untouched my entire life-- until Thao. After a few years of seeing him for trims, I trusted him to lighten my natural color and omg. He did AMAZING. Not only did he make me feel comfortable in the consult, but he put in extra care and even had me out in 3.5 hours. Come here. you won't be disappointed.

One thing to note: a few areas lifted slightly orange, likely because the bleach didn't take evenly in those spots. He explained that we had already done two bleaching cycles and doing more would risk damage, so we decided not to push it. He also offered for me to come back so he can fix those areas, which I appreciated. If you've never gone from dark to light before, just know it takes time and patience. Good vibes there. I'm going to try purple shampoo in the meantime, but overall I'm happy with the result and would return.

Asked questions and remembered the answers. Was very uplifting and positive and gave me such a confidence boost - after several bad experiences elsewhere, she helped me get my mojo back!
