These are true artist in hair styles. You can go anywhere to get a hair cut but if you want a Professional Stylist this is the place. They are great with Men's styles as well. So today was my first visit to the Angelica L Salon. WORTH EVERY SECOND OF DRIVING THERE. My usual stylist doesn't do perms. I wanted one. Corinne happens to be a perm guru. I was greeted with smiling faces and treated like a regular/friend my whole time there. Plus, everyone worked together not only on my hair, but on many more customers I saw during my visit (perms take a while y'all). Everyone was professional but warm. Although Angelica's Salon is a clean well managed business, with a friendly staff on hand, they messed up on my hair color. The haircut that was given to me was absolutely fabulous, but I'm not happy with my choice of color. The color came out the complete opposite to what they were trying to achieve. Went in today to get a corrective color done by another salon. Corrine did an awesome job fixing the gold and yellow tint I had in my hair. She was very informative and descriptive on how she was going to fix it. She did an amazing job I will be going back to her for sure for touch ups. This is a clean and well-managed salon however, I left with a less than satisfactory hair color (orange in areas and not well-blended) and an uneven cut. Disappointed to say the least. They do have a re-do policy however, I am willing to take my chance with another salon rather than go back. read more

I'm new to the bay area and I've been to this salon a handful of times and have always been pleased. My last experience; however, was not good. I received a hair cut from a new stylist whom I was told was very good. My hair was long and all one length. I asked for the ends to be trimmed. It is now butchered with multiple pieces longer than other pieces. I look ridiculous. Some pieces short, some pieces long. I reached out to the owner and received no response. I am forced to pay for an entirely new haircut elsewhere and will have much shorter hair than I bargained for. The salon has obviously gone through some changes as most of the staff seemed to be absent or gone. As a small business owner, I can empathize with changes; however, as a customer, I write this review to warn potential customers - avoid hair cuts by their new stylist Julie at all costs. I'd hate for someone to go through what I'm going through. read more
