The entire process was remarkable in that, unlike others, Dave kept his appointments on schedule. He personally inspected the roof and delivered a review of his proposal in tremendous detail. He has a warehouse with all of the material he needed for my roof, so no excuses about shipping delays, cost escalations or backorders. He promised a mid May installation and actually came a week early. He even got the building permit from the Town, which some other contractors seem to forget. His crew was well-prepared, setting up tarps to keep the old roofing out of the shrubs and lawn, got the entire roof (36 squares) done by around 4:00 pm. Clean up was impeccable. New gutters were installed a few days later by very knowledgeable craftsmen who made some upgrades that were much appreciated. I have no hesitation to recommend Dave Miner for your roofing and gutter replacement project. It's refreshing to work directly with the owner of the company.

However, several warning flags caused us to stop after the redesign was drafted (contract fullfilled). First, we asked for an informal idea of what a whole new addition would cost. The answer was beyond our budget so we went with the redesign. When we were satisfied with the redesign drawings, the cost estimate for the redesign came in close to the whole addition cost! This was extremely frustrating since the redesign was a much smaller project than an addition. Second, we went through three design reviews. Each time, the project manager said they would get back to us in a week or two. But, each time, they actually got back to us about two months later! Without any communication in between! This was a deal breaker. To summarize: poor cost (under) estimates and abysmal lack of communication told us they lacked estimating skills and, crucially, that our project was at the bottom of their to-do list. Our takeaway about Integrity is that they prefer to work on high end, full house projects and only take on smaller redesigns to "fill in" their schedule, with consequently poor effort.

I explained that was not looking for a handyman and he told me he was a licensed contractor. I spoke to him on a Thursday. He was supposed to get a hold of me on Monday to come over in the afternoon to look at what I needed. Everything sounded good. He sounded like he was a responsible person. Today is now Tuesday at 6:30pm and I have not heard anything from him which is very disappointing. When you're dealing with a business you expect that they're going to do what they say or at least contact you to make different arrangements. I guess I'll be moving on to a different company and hope they can fulfill what they say. Very disappointing. The whole point of going through Angi was to try to find somebody reputable that could at least keep an appointment!
