When he was here the roofer identified a defect (degranulation) with the IKO roof shingles that were installed when the house was built back in 2001. I checked online and found that there is a pending class action case against the manufacturer that is slowly working its way through the federal courts. So I also had the roofer take off two defective shingle so that I can either file a warranty claim or join the class action case, if it comes together. In the end the charge for the work on my roof was very reasonable. I would be happy to use Abeles Roofing again.
