Furniture refurbishing companies are rare in my area, so I randomly tried Yelp and took a chance selecting this company, never having used them before, specialized in flooring, and with some angst as I had no idea what to expect. My concerns vanished quickly. Scott and Danny are two brothers that provided an outstanding experience and a top notch end-product. The five star rating was given due to the following factors: 1. They not only transformed the table, through meticulous sanding and multiple coat applications, but actually managed to exceed my best expectations for the final outcome of the table. 2. Communication was exceptional and immediate. Their arrival was always pre-announced and punctual, which has become rare today. 3. Total honesty and transparency. 4. They went out of their way to accommodate all my requests, in addition to providing me with knowledge, advice, and assistance with other pieces of furniture as well as our own hard wood floors. 5. Their charges were so reasonable, considering the level of effort, that I felt I was being undercharged and this was not a fair trade. I subsequently paid 20% more than quoted. I will use them again in a heartbeat and will be recommending them to whoever I meet with flooring or furnishing renovation requirements. They put new wood in, and stained it the color I chose. They sanded down a few of the bedrooms that already had hardwood, and there is a clear discoloration in the wood surrounding the perimeter of the rooms. It's very noticeable. On top of that, I've never seen hardwoods that dent so easily (where the new wood was put in). I've dropped a cup in the kitchen and it put a huge dent in the floor. Everyday things that should not scuff up wood floors put dents in these floors. 1 year after installation my entire kitchen and living room look like absolute shit because we used these guys. (We've barely lived in the house and the floors look like trash). Putting rugs down. Never again. From now on we'll do it ourselves, there's no way it could come out any worse.
