Worked with an interior decorator and wanted to get some pieces separate from what I got from our decorator, it was four hands and they don't sell direct to consumer but online referee me to this store, our experience with Kate was good. Yes, it took a few months to get our furniture but she was upfront from the beginning, these are custom or made to order pieces, some got delayed but I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience and white glove service. Concerning the new St Augustine location on US1 ... web site, the front door, and employees tell us the store closes at 6pm. After the location never delivered the piece we ordered, we called and told the store employees we were picking up a furniture piece BEFORE 6pm. We have been waiting for this piece for 3 months after being told it would be delivered to our house which never happened. We drove to the store and it was closed at 5:45pm when we arrived. Mind you, it takes us 35 minutes to get to the location. We will never order from here again. read more

Place is a joke when it comes to customer service. Matt is a squirrel when trying to ask any questions. He never gives you ANY time to ask questions. I ordered two pieces in July and was promised they'd be here by Thanksgiving. Only one of the pieces came in and guess what? Wrong size! So I'm back at square one. I demanded a refund, Derrick the store manager was very reluctant to even give me a refund. He name dropped Trevor Lawrence's wife stating she as wating for pieces to come in as well?? Do your self a fave, shop online. The furniture they sell is from a company called FOUR HANDS. Way better prices online! Place is a joke. read more

I have purchased a chair from the Ponte Vedra store that I was able to fit in my car. This time, stopped by the Phillips Highway location and purchased a chair and a half, pillows, and a daybed/bench. Store has a lot of interesting items and would love to buy more; however, they charged me $149 for delivery after I asked if they could do Saturday delivery. Received call today they do not do delivery on Saturdays but they can be at my house tomorrow..... That is wonderful - however, I work during the day. If I had known this upfront, I would have just arranged the pick up next Saturday myself if I decided to go through with it. So annoyed. $149 was already high for delivery to begin with. Changed rating from 2 to 4 as they have called back and have another outside delivery service that can deliver the furniture. Appears they are too small of a company to staff weekend deliveries - just make sure to account for this in your purchasing. read more

Prospective buyers beware. This past summer we paid in full for a sectional and swivel chair. we paid $200.00 to have the sales/design person come to the house to make sure the pieces we were to order would fit well in the room. I was assured that all was good. I also was guided to a fabric that was like the model that I liked. When the sectional was delivered it was very apparent the color and size was totally wrong. Also I was told that the swivel chair was sold to someone else. The sectional was so stiff and uncomfortable. It was not anywhere near the model in the showroom. I was told by the sales/design person to take the pillows and put them on the floor and walk on them to make them more comfortable! After many texts to the sales and rep and certified letter to the owner asking for some kind of compromise for the sectional (I was refunded for the chair) I was told they could not do anything and I was left with a $5000.00 sectional that is totally wrong in the room. J Turner is all about the money...not for the client. I paid up front the total amount with no idea I would be met with rudeness and ignored when I tried for some kind of compromise. read more

We have been furniture shopping for our new home and have not seen ANYTHING like this place! Its amazing to say the least. If you are looking for the WOW factor then this is your place. We went in a week later and it was basically all new inventory! Super friendly staff and the owners even came up and introduced themselves and told us their story and showed us pictures of them traveling the world tracking this stuff down.... Nice stuff, but atrocious service from Mark Turner! Bought $4k item from them. Mark delivered it damaged. At first,Mark said he would do whatever we wanted to make the situation right. Then, when we told him that we wanted to return it, Mark went into a rant about how "unreasonable" we were being. Mark Turner was extremely rude to us, and refused to return the damaged item because he was "losing momey" on it...as though that is the customer's fault. Honestly, Mark behaved in such a disrespectful and unprofessional manner, it was really hard to believe. Our family and friends will never shop at his store again! read more

The store has some very unique furnishings and they seem to take great care in setting themselves apart from the average home furnishing stores. Don't apply for a job at this place. Very unprofessional in the way they treat job applicants. I went there twice to interview with Paul. He never would meet with me. No explanation, no communication at all!
