I've been seeing chiropractors for about 7-8 years, and while they've all been helpful, I never experienced long-term relief from my neck tension--especially with how active my lifestyle is. On the 4th of July, I woke up with a rib out of place and in a lot of pain. I asked Siri to find me a chiropractor near by who was open and she ran down a list of numbers. I called everyone. Most had messages on their machine to syay they were out of the office for the weekend. This one rang through and the doctor answered his phone, I thought I struck gold. But he told me he wasn't open but said he'd get me in the next day. AWESOME! But when I called the next day he told me he wasn't going to come into the office after all. Um... okay, so what you told me yesterday was BS? Thanks man! As I have been getting weekly chiropractic work for a while now and have just moved to the Walnut Creek area I was hoping to find a new chiropractor, this guy will not be getting my business. This review is 3 months into my treatment plan with Dr. Vorzimer and my overall health and quality of life has never felt better. After injuring my back in January 2023, I struggled to find a chiropractor available in the Walnut Creek area who was accepting same day walk-ins. I sprained my back and could not get up from the floor without assistance and struggled to even use the restroom. After desperately calling over 10 offices, I fortunately stumbled upon Dr. Vorzimer and he was able to fit me into his schedule that same day. I showed up to his office with a makeshift walking stick, which Dr. V often refers to as the mighty stick of "Gandalf." Dr. V gave me a very informative initial consultation explaining the anatomy and diagnosing what the root cause of my issue was, which was also later confirmed with x-rays. Within minutes after my first treatment, I was able to gingerly walk without assistance and was sold on seeking further treatment. I also was treated by him for a neck injury in a car accident and am totally healed from that as well. He is a great D.C. and he always has a smile on his face and a nice thing to say to everyone he treats. I started seeing Dr. Vorzimer towards late 2017, and discovered some nagging neck pain was probably the latent result of a car accident. After several months of treatment, I slowly but surely felt that pain go away, as well as an increase in my range of motion. He is very interested in his patients' lives and makes an effort to get to know them, and also works with you as far as payment plans. Some reviews state that signing into a payment agreement can be daunting, it may be true but they are not binding, and it's also true that some people would simply not come back to keep their alignment problems in check if they feel it has been cured. Dr. V is really great. I had sciatica 9 months before finding him (first I tried physical therapy and updating my orthotics, which helped some but things still weren't right.) It wasn't until I went to Dr. Vorzimer that I could tell we were getting to the root of the issue. It took many visits, more at the beginning and then tapered out over the course of 2-3 months (helpful to live or work nearby). It was well worth it, and quite expected really after a year of being off kilter. My sciatica is gone and I am jogging at normal pace again for the first time in over a year. I go to Kaiser, and was a little intimidated by their referral process. But if you work with Dr. V, he will help you get set up and take care of the paperwork for you, making it successful and super easy. He is excited for the opportunity to teach his patients, which can come across as pushy at the beginning. If you see this guy at a festival or show, avoid at all costs. He is there just to sell you an annual service contract, bringing you in to his office and give you a lecture all about the spine, which you could find online. To pay $25 for this is ridiculous. The amount of time that is worked on your back at the show and his office was less than five minutes combined and nothing was done anyway. He would just tell you something is wrong with your back so that he could sell you thousands of dollars of his service. What a scam. read more

If you are thinking about seeing this guy think again. he mapped out a payment plan for me and in the contract says I can cancel anytime. I overpaid by 35 dollars since my insurance doesn't include anything until I meet a deductible of 500. I paid 185 for a month of back cracking. I decided after one day going into the office to cease my visits after he spent 20 minutes of my time talking about his computer blue screening and what do to and being so frantic over it that he wouldn't even respond to me after 4 times asking what time my next visit was. He has a massive case of ADHD or drug abuse by his overly anxious attitude...perhaps nervousa, and barely even listens in my experience. Not sure really but very skeptical. He then calls me after I did a now show out of sheer disgust by his professionalism and leaves a message saying after I didn't respond he is canceling my care (which is fine) but I have bills to pay... How unprofessional to contact a "CUSTOMER" and state something as such. Especially after I overpaid the amount due by 35 dollars according to the plan HE mapped out for me. I have only yelped on 2 people in my life and this guy is definitely worth yelping about. Please please please review the stars and listen to what the customers have to say. You are simply a paycheck and not a person to this guy. I could go on and on but ranting won't help. I used to throw my back out a couple times every year. I had been through physical therapy and massages.. But in the end I was given painkillers to solve the problem and just had to deal with this ordeal. The sciatica pain was immobilizing. I first saw Dr. V in 2007 when in was pregnant. I heard that your back pain just gets worse when you're pregnant, so I wanted to try it out. His initial diagnosis was spot on. He explained what the problem was and how to fix it. We've build a relationship to the point that he knows my family and ask how they are doing. One day I came to him to let him know I couldn't afford to renew my plan for personal reasons but knowing that I couldn't go to anyone else, we worked out a deal since my back didn't need that much maintenance because I was taking care of my back.
