Cute walk-up window for coffee on one of the main streets in the area. The baristas were nice and made our drinks quickly. I would note that the espresso had a good profile, however the ratios of the drink were off. Ended up finishing a 16oz iced latte within a few sips and the last sip was nearly all syrup with a touch of milk. read more

J5 is a walk-up coffee bar with a good menu and knowledgeable baristas. We were in Leavenworth for a few days and i wanted to get for a walk. I sauntered up to J5 just as they opened - the barista was polite, kind, and made a great latte as well as a good/abwrage traditional cappuccino - the capp was more hybrid of italian/american but it worked. Highly recommend if you don't mind getting it to go! read more

I am always thrilled when I get the opportunity to try new coffee shops. J5 has 2 locations in town, but the walk-up window was the only one open during our weekend there. I got an iced bourbon maple and he got an americano with cream. I adore maple-flavored things, so when I saw this on their menu, I knew exactly what to try. It was delicately sweet and had a smooth coffee flavor. A perfect balance. The line can get long, but that serves as motivation to get your day started and hop in line early! This coffee stand was super convenient! Looks like they have a full store front just down the street from here, but put in this coffee stand for a more convenient grab and go! Andrew and I were looking for a coffee stop while walking around downtown Leavenworth and we swung by here! I tried this about 2-3 years ago and then I tried the coffee stand nearby recently unfortunately I just can't say that this is good coffee. The shop is really beautiful and I love that. Leavenworth has a coffee shop with an espresso machine, unfortunately the cop is only OK. It tastes a little bit burnt. I would only have this if I really needed an espresso. read more

Stopped by this window to grab a quick coffee, but the line was very slow moving. Didn't really mind since I was excited to try their coffee, but my order ultimately left me disappointed. Got the bourbon maple latte, and after a sip I had to go back and ask if I got the right order as it just tasted like a sweet latte. They said it was the right one, and offered to add another pump of the syrup which was nice of them, but it just ended up adding more sweetness vs any other flavor read more

Anytime we're out in the new city we always like to stop by a local coffee shop and see what the vibe is like. This place was a solid spot to caffeinated. It's located in the heart of the downtown corridor and they have two locations including a normal size shop in this smaller,But very convenient to go type shop. The first thing that caught my eyes were the different types of lattes that they have. The maple bourbon one looks good, but ultimately ended up grabbing a coffee blossom latte or rather a coffee blossom Americano. It was affectively an Americano with some local honey. It was very impressive! My better half had some tea, and while it's just leaf water, it's always nice to have some options. They had a pretty nice array of both floral and standard teas. They were very efficient in getting us in and out, and were very positive throughout the whole experience. It's right on the main thoroughfare through the downtown, so it's a very nice place to stop halfway through or after getting ice cream when you need to warm up! A shout out to whistlepunk ice cream next-door, you should definitely stop there before or after. Great spot for some delicious coffee where they're thinking a little bit outside the box! read more

Had a Maple latte. It was a nice latte, but not much maple flavoring came through. Very nice location, and staff were great. Store front was nice. The inside was very clean and organized. I wanted to try their latte a second time the next day, but was sad to see they were not open on Sunday mornings. Next time I'm in town I will stop here over Starbucks, if it is open. read more

Confused by all the positive reviews. My coffee, a caramel latte was so burnt as to be inedible. My boyfriends mocha tasted like a water downed packet mocha. Very dissatisfied. Wasted $12. Go elsewhere. Even Starbucks would be better. read more

This is my second trip to Leavenworth. The first time I tried this place, I knew I need to get another round of caffeine from them when I get back, and yes! I did on my second trip. During my first trip, We had Caramel Macchiato, Latte and Chai tea latte. The baristas made it so well! There is a good bance betwee the milk, coffee and sugar! Anyway, 5 star for the service - The lady behind the counter is friendly and attentive 5 star for the taste - Perfect balance of all the flavors! Must try the Chai tea latte! 4 star for the price - Not too pricey and not too cheap, but I guess, It is definely worth the try! read more

Grabbed coffee/tea here this morning for myself and my parents. First, the 12oz feels small. Know that. My parents each got a hot, regular mocha that they enjoyed. I got a London Fog. I've had amazing London Fogs at independent coffee places, and I've had terrible ones. This wasnt a terrible one, just a meh one. Overall, for as highly acclaimed as this place is, it didn't seem anything too amazing. Customer service was average. read more

A small coffee stand, perfect to hold and sip while you're walking along the small town of Leavenworth. Me and my husband shared a bourbon maple latte and boy, was it delicious. Loooove the coffee here and that says a lot esp for someone who is not big on coffee. My absolute fave here.is their white mocha. The coffee has a nutty and almost fragrant taste and aroma (notes of butter toffee and coconut). Really good coffee. Stop by and grab one if you are around their area. read more

The moment you walk in you are greeted by the cutest "gingerbread house" with gingerbread houses adoring the opposite wall that leads into the shop. Yet I was compelled to try one when I visited this Leavenworth store.. Crunchy , robust and delicious are my feelings for this masterpiece cookie. Now when I returned they didn't have any ready to be purchased so I grabbed a heart shaped sugar cookie with frosting and it was equally delicious. Haven't tried some of the other delightful treats but I shall... I'm just full today and have no room for another cookie. Staff was very courteous in answering questions and completing the cookie purchase... For those wanting to eat your cookie you have plenty of seating in the building including a cool area in front. Now a hidden gem is the clean commode which I must say was needed, so thanks for keeping things clean.... All in all I'm a big fan of this local bakery and will stop again and again and again. They unfortunately did not, but that did not stop us from getting some treats. We got the pretzel, a pear tart and a pastry with blueberries. Very authentic treats. Husband wished the pretzel came with cheese, but he said the mustard was the next best option for him. Always a stop when we come to Leavenworth.

We visited Schocolat after it was recommended by a friend who lives locally and enjoys fine wine…read moreand food. The service was friendly and helpful. Our friend gifted us a box. The chocolate was excellent. The exterior is very high quality and the fillings were rich and fresh. The chocolates are not cheap but definitely with it for a special treat.
