My place was a hot mess, and I was at my wits end. I contacted JAC Cleaners explained my situation to Richard the owner and he told me not to worry and he could help me. He sent two of his staff members Ashley and Mo and they came in and cleaned my kitchen and my bathroom and it looks wonderful. They were very detailed and cleaned every cranny and corner. I was extremely pleased with the service and the professionalism of the staff. I paid for a 4 hour deep cleaning. Expectations were discussed at time of booking and also when the girls arrived to my home. While my home seemed to have been cleaned it was not done well. Window sills were still dusty, the kitchen counters and floors were not touched, bathroom sinks were not scrubbed just wiped. There were still marks of dirt on the floors in the bedrooms. While the cleaning quality was adequate and we appreciated the consistency over several months of weekly service, their inflexible cancellation policy ultimately ended our relationship. When I needed to pause service, I contacted them on Saturday regarding our Tuesday appointment. After hearing nothing all weekend, I followed up Monday morning. They finally responded, only to inform me I'd be charged a cancellation fee because I hadn't provided "more than one business day" notice. As loyal weekly clients, we expected some consideration, especially given our attempt to communicate well in advance. Instead, they prioritized a rigid policy over customer retention. Their approach made it clear how little our consistent business was valued. This is the language that they have when you enter your credit card information was completely different from the person I spoke to on the phone who insisted you must give more than one business day notice: PUT A CARD ON FILE We only require you to put a card on file to save your booking. It will only be charged once we clock out of the job. If you need to cancel for any reason call us at 440-414-3624 the day before your appointment to cancel or rescedhule. I am absolutely speechless in term of how phenomenally JAC cleaners, Denise and Millie, detailed and cleaned my home. I thought my walls needed to be painted until they were cleaned and washed by JAC. They cleaned every piece of dirt and dust so well that I almost could not recognize my own home. I thought my light fixture in my kitchen was beige, but it was actually crystal white after being cleaned. My home is now sparkling clean and my appliances inside and out look brand new! The team that cleaned my home was efficient and did a good job. They did arrive a little late, but still within reason. There was a mixup on the part of the scheduler, Jade, where she only listed two bathrooms on the work order. I specifically told her I had 2 1/2 bathrooms. But, because there were only two bathrooms listed on the work order the ladies refused to clean all three and made me pick one of my bathrooms to leave dirty. I felt they could have reached out to the office to straighten things out, but they didn't. Richard texted me after my service to see how it was and I returned his text and explained this issue and then heard nothing back. while I was happy with the job that the cleaners did I can't 100% recommend this company based on the customer service. We were looking for a move in clean and after reading the reviews, it seemed like JAC Cleaners was the best choice. They weren't. There are many cleaners in the area, and this definitely will not be our go to company. Even after speaking to them and sending pictures, they did not get back to us with any type of explanation - although I did tell her that she did not need to get back to me because I am not looking for a refund, just wanted to let them know what the final job looked like, she still insisted that she would talk to someone at the office and get back to us. There was no furniture to move around, so it should have been an easy clean. They were scheduled for 11:00, pushed it to 1:00, showed up at 2:15. They were out by 4:30 - a townhouse clean in 2 hours. Counters were dirty, the stove was a mess (they said it was because of the glass, but we were able to clean it), there was dirty water left in the sink (they said they didn't use the kitchen sink, but if that is the case, then they didn't clean it either). Refrigerator still had spots. The cleaners said they had to wait for my daughter to return, which was untrue (proven by the text messages sent). It did smell good, so I am not saying that they did not clean. But 2 hours in a 3 floor place is pushing it - I feel that they were running late and instead of changing our date (which was scheduled at least 3 weeks in advance), they decided to rush the job. Pictures attached: 2 counter pictures, floor needing swept, kitchen sink (all taken same day once they left - and no, my daughter who doesn't like conflict did not mention all these things but instead called me). I received a call from Richard about my pie plate, not my broken toilet. He said it was his understanding that he was not to call me. I never said that, that all I want is this plate back. He said something like when customer does something like bake a pie, it is the understanding that they can keep whatever was included was to be kept. Again, nothing about my toilet. I've been using this service for years. I downgraded and instead of 2 cleans per month I elected to do 1 clean a month. I just wasn't sure what day I wanted to choose because the company could no longer clean my home on Saturdays with the cleaners of my choice. So for one December I had them clean on a Friday since I was off work. I explained to them that i still wasn't sure what my regular time would be because I really wanted to be at home during cleanings and I was just taking this date this time since I was on Christmas break. That December clean went fine....fast forward to January.... they had a special so I opted to do the special deep clean that month....no problem. Then a week after they did the deep clean, they sent the cleaners back to my house. I told them I didn't need my house cleaned again until next month. They replied well this is your regular scheduled clean date . I replied I dont have a regularly scheduled date yet and you guys just cleaned my house last week. The owner told me he had me on a recorded line and that I did schedule a date....Hold up...remember I said ive been with this company for a few YEARS now and NEVER have they EVER told me I was being recorded. He specifically said he went back and listened to the recording. I said ok well please send me the recording I'd like to hear it. I waited for about 2 weeks...nothing sent. So I called. Now the owner is saying Oh its a transcript and its difficult to share. And I forgot the best part. They charged me for the special clean ( which was cool ) and THEY CHARGED ME (half) FOR THE OTHER CLEANING that I wasnt scheduled for and that I didn't receive because I wasn'texpecting them!! The cleaner was even surprised as well. She called the owner and told him, we were just there to clean this house last week!!! Yet they still charged me. So I canceled their services . For 2 very important reasons. The first is they got greedy when they charged me for a clean that they didn't do and the second which is really the most significant.....they lied ....lied to me about some " recording " and if they are recording us we do have the legal right to be informed prior to any conversation. I would have stayed with the company if they had worked with me. We had a very short turn around time with mandatory occupancy 4 days away. Richard was super helpful and understanding. We contacted JAC to have the home prepared to live in from top to bottom. Don't waste your money or time with another house cleaner! Call JAC's. My elderly mother with dementia had feces all over the indoor walkway and of course all over the bathroom.
