I do not like writing bad reviews on businesses, especially ones in the high desert as we already get a bad rep but I have to speak up. The front desk staff is nice and helpful. Dr Samuel Wilson is compassionate and kind. Unfortunately, Dr Arlene Braham is the issue at this facility. This doctor is rude and has no empathy. I do not recommend being treated by her. I'm rating this urgent care 5 stars because it's not the front desk nor the other doctor that's the issue, it's Dr. Arlene Braham. My advise is to avoid being treated by this provider. I went to the urgent care with my husband. He wanted me to go into the room with him and I did. The nurse proceed to tell me that the doctor only wanted one adult in the room at a time because that was the urgent care rule. I will not go back to this urgent. read more

The doctor was quick but also rude, she talked to me as if I didn't know my daughter well enough and questioned the care I give her. First time @ this Urgent Care. I've been to several in Apple Valley because ended up unsatisfied. This place was perfect, quick and easy to locate. I found them on my medical group website as an urgent care provider in network with our insurance. Reception helped me quickly. Assistant called me in within minutes and took my vitals. Dr. Wilson came in within minutes of being placed in the exam room. He was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Wilson and this urgent care to everyone. My family and I will return here as needed. This is now our go to urgent care facility. Thank you Dr. Wilson and night crew Second visit here. Brought my son in to be seen. Took my very sick teenager in and she wouldn't be seen. Nurse said we needed to purchase masks for $1 and it was cash only. I complied; however I didn't have cash, so they refused treatment. She said I can drive to a liquor store to see if I could find an ATM. Let me not forget to share that the whole time the intake nurse is talking, she is refusing to look at me. I took my daughter somewhere else where they had to give her an IV for severe dehydration. Completely unacceptable care. read more

normally I would never do something like this and I used to rave about this urgent care how amazing the staff were let alone the doctors until I had to get seen with my stepson from the minute we walked in because they're 30 minutes to closing the front office, staff was rude and horrific. I had two kids to be seen. I was fine paying for my child they flat out, refused to see him and then by the time we got to see the doctor, she would not listen to what my daughter needed so we leave and come to find out. I was a little hesitant about going here based on the previous reviews, but since I wasn't feeling well and didn't want to drive all over the city to find another Urgent Care office, I went anyway. I was pleasantly surprised! Not only was it one of the better looking UC facilities that I've gone to: nice, spacious, clean waiting room; plenty of parking; easy to get in and out of. Plus every single person that worked there was friendly, professional, and efficient (Disclaimer: I did not encounter Dr. Braham personally, so can't speak about her). I came in needing a Covid test, and after filling out of my paperwork, someone came out to the waiting room to swab me in my seat and give me a mask. By the time I was called back to get my vitals taken, they had my results (negative, yay!) and I could then focus on what my real diagnosis was. I was then given proper prescriptions to deal with my symptoms. My only disappointment, was that I arrived at 2p to discover that the office closes for a late lunch hour...but that was my bad for not calling or checking the hours before I came. I took my 7 year old daughter to the urgent care last evening. They refused treatment because I didn't have my adoption papers. She is legally my daughter and I had her iehp card. Her state of California Bic card and my driver's license. She had a horrible uti and was dehydrated (based on diagnosis at another local urgent care. We arrived at 614 p.m. Everything was fine until I told them I was her biological granddaughter but she was legally adopted at birth. That's when it started. They told us we had to carry around a document saying she was adopted. Her medical cards and my ID was not sufficient for this office so they refused treatment of a sick 7 year old. With a uti she needed to use the restroom and told us she was not allowed in the back. So she had to hold it which is impossible with a uti. It was close to closing so the secretary left and a manager came out. The fact that they refused to see a 7 year old is completely absurd. I have filed complaints with the medical board and IEHP. read more

They always take excellent care of me when I am unable to get into my primary physician. Who I truly want to recognize and thank is Dr. Arlene Braham. She is so kind and compassionate and takes wonderful care of her patients. She makes you feel as if she's known you for years and you can tell she has a gigantic heart, which is what I believe is missing a lot these days with most medical workers. I brought my 82 year old grandmother in yesterday for a cold. She is recently widowed and having a very hard time with my grandfathers passing. NPA Maria was AMAZING! Not only did she take her time examining her but she probably spent 40 mins just listening to my grandma talk about her husband. She was so understanding and empathetic. Totally unethical for an Urgent Care that closes at 9pm to turn away a patient, a SICK 10mo old BABY, who arrived at 8:20pm... Way before closing! My son calls me telling me he has been knocking and knocking on the door, that an employee walks up telling him THRU the LOCKED door that they can't see my Granddaughter because they're at capacity, mind you, there are only 3 people in the waiting room. I then called the urgent care and asked why are they refusing to see my Granddaughter. Bobby tells me they always stop seeing patients at 830. So BOBBY, why isn't there a sign on the door stating this?! I told Bobby that my son has been sitting out side the door Knocking and knocking to get in since 8:20pm, and how totally wrong they are refusing to see my sick Granddaughter. He tells me per their Directors, it's a "business decision" to stop seeing patients at 8:30. Really BOBBY?!... There are only 3 people in the waiting room! He continued with telling me that if it's an emergency, there are ER's that are open that can see her. I call Bullshit "Bobby"!! Y'all just wanna leave at closing time! Dr Wilson and his team at Jacaranda urgent care were such an amazing team. I cut my knuckle bad at work and I went in close to closing time and without hesitation they took me back immediately into my room. His staff memebers were so sweet and caring they got me ready and Dr Wilson came in with a gentle soft hand and stitched me up. He was very kind and I will definitely be going to them only from now on. I'm 36 years old and that was my best experience with urgent care in my entire life. Just took my adult daughter there this evening (a Sunday). She had fallen and injured her foot/ankle. They opened at 5pm. We arrived about 5:45 pm, filled out paperwork and was called back within a couple minutes. An individual came in and took her vitals right away. Dr. Wilson came in within a few minutes, examined her foot. He said they have an X-ray tech on call and she'd be there in a few minutes. She literally was there in less than 10 minutes. She did the X-rays, while my granddaughter and I were waiting in the waiting room while my daughter was getting her X-ray they came in and offered us some water. doc came in and explained she had an avulsion fracture. He explained what that was and what was going to happen. Someone came in and put a splint on her. In all total we probably weren't there more than an hour MAYBE an hour and a half. I called this morning around 11AM, I asked until what time they were open, I was told they close from 12PM-1PM for lunch, and then they are open 1PM-5PM. I got here at 1:04PM and they had a closed sign on the door, the door was locked and all the lights were off inside. I waited there for about ten minutes. There is a sign on the door that states to wait in your car and call them to be seen. After the ten minutes, I went to wait in my car. I waited til 1:55PM and decided to leave. Brought my daughter here after she crashed on her scooter. The x-ray tech had just left but they went ahead and called her back in to get my daughter seen and fixed up. The Drs here and all staff are amazing, you get seen quickly and with the compassion and care that you expect and I wouldn't go to any other urgent care for mine or my childrens needs! Good except for one weird doctor. ..they are usually pretty fast and skilled but one time i went in with a bad migraine and was in a lot of pain due to degenerative disc disease and the dr didn't recognize anything properly and kept accusing me of being drunk or on drugs and eventually i had to take all these sobriety tests for no reason just to get Imitrex for three days. Idk what she was brainwashed by but if she doesn't want to do her job she should consider a different profession. The other drs are good just avoid the obese female p.a. read more

Our first visit here was at the end of the last year..GREAT SERVICE!! Today's attempt to be see was a huge disappointment! We took my grandson to be checked for possible ear infection. Per their website they close at 9pm, we walked in at 845pm. I know they were about to close and I did feel bad, but this urgent Care is or was the best! As we walked in they told us they were closed that they take their last patient at 830pm. I told the front desk that this info of taking the last patient at 830 is not on their website, the hours say you're open until 9pm AND the hours say you're open until 9pm on the door as well. Then asked if they can just quickly look into the baby's ear since there were no patients here and he's been seen here before. However, with the Dr inside listening at the counter, the front desk girl still refused my request to have my grandson quickly be seen and was told to take my grandson to another urgent Care down the street ....(smh)... We brought our toddler son here. The wait was minimal and the staff members were all great - very patient, gentle, and accommodating. The doctor we saw was awesome. He had great bedside manners, asked a lot of questions, took his time looking at my son, listened to everything we had to say, and explained to us what he was looking at and why it was important in his diagnosis. It was almost like he was verbalizing to us step by step what he was doing, ultimately helping us understand the reasons behind the diagnosis. To further boost our confidence in him, he was very unassuming, taking the time to double check the accuracy of the diagnosis in front of us. He had already verbalized the reasoning behind his diagnosis prior to "double checking" it so we were confident he knew what he was doing and what he was talking about. Very clean facility, also.
