No Doctor Onsite. The doctor is virtual, so if you needed to be physically examined you're pretty much out of luck. You'll be talking to a doctor over video chat. Insane. Also no sinks or hand sanitizer in the rooms. Do yourself a favor and listen to all the reviews they have you waiting for three hours and then the provider has the audacity to have an attitude with you. I've got in my test results about a week ago and was notified that the provider has received them and I have not heard from my provider to go over the results which by the way I called three times already to get a hold of her. So I went to #MeridianUrgentCare to document my accident and to get checked out precautionarily. I waited in their lovely waiting room for approximately 3 hours & finally get called back to be seen. They do the initial vitals. Then put me in an exam room & say the doctor will be in shortly., I wait in the exam room for apx another half an hour. Annnnd then the nurse comes in with a tablet and with the doctor #DanVasileDO on ZOOM!! a friggin' live video. Who am I seeing?? A doctor on #TheJetsons?? Who's going to give me an examination virtually. I was beyond livid, how in the heck can he assess me through a screen?? With move your head & point to where it hurts. He had the audacity to get annoyed when I questioned him and the staff about NOT LETTING IT BE KNOWN THAT THE APPOINTMENT WOULD BE VIRTUAL. Honestly I should of been given that info upon arrival. He prescribed anti-inflammatory & ordered xrays. Both could of been done upon arrival. Then the receptionist tried to blow me off with some clueless answers when I asked for clarification of the address for imaging. Another patient overheard her answer & intervened & corrected her with the correct location. She tried to giggle in her immaturity while stating " oh I don't live out here". So why mis-direct people?? I was exasperated with their omission of ZOOM. The nurse walking in with the tablet literally looked embarrassed to have to do that. Honestly I'd be embarrassed too. If I can give it zero stars I would, the staff at the front desk are so very unprofessional! Waited patiently at the window and no acknowledgment at all. Stood there for 15 minutes and not even a "I'll be right with you". They carried on their own personal conversations. Had I not been here for a work lab test, I would've walked out. I called ahead of time and was told there was no wait. Walked in to an empty waiting room and still waited over 30 minutes because they wanted to chat. Ridiculous. I am BEYOND disappointed with the care my fiance received. Someone who doesn't like going to the doctors, I convinced him to go to this urgent care because they're usually quick, attentive to what's wrong & no issues with filling prescriptions. Just for him to have the exact opposite experience. Very Disappointing. 1) we waited 3 hours just for him to get seen by a doctor over a video chat. ( absolutely a waste of gas, he could've stayed home and done a video call with a dr had we known that's how it's going to be for a " in person" visit. But no have him be sick in a waiting room, with children, spreading germs to the lobby to see a doctor over video on a tablet....) 2) Uncomplimentary Front Desk employee, didn't get her name, white with glasses. She needs to step up her customer service skills. Receptionist shouldn't act bothered when patients are directed by the back staff to come to her after they're seen to disclose a pharmacy. My fiancee & mine personal phones were dead, so we couldn't look up exact addresses for the pharmacy. she didn't send his medication to the right place, instead of helping she wants to go back and forth with me on what Walgreens exist & refuses to look up what addresses they have, which I find silly as she sits in front of a computer screen that I can almost guarantee has access somehow to locate a pharmacy. Hopefully she reads this, that's not a professional look being argumentative with anybody especially in front of a lobby full of patients. So his meds got sent to one in Hesperia we told her Victorville & provided the cross streets and zip code ( it gets better, it doesn't stop here with the pharmacy situation) 3) I had to call in the afternoon to see if they sent the meds, I call, a male answers to say " ah I was just about to call you to confirm what pharmacy as we didn't get a pharmacy on file" Excuse me? Lol. How?.... Probably because of that graceless receptionist working at the time, that's a good assumption. 4) Walgreens finally calls to tell us his prescription is delayed due to insurance, I call them back to be told " we only filled one prescription, because it looks like the others got sent to queens" Answer this Meridian, why is a pharmacy informing us that his meds are at two different places? Shouldn't we have been informed by Your urgent care first? Queens never called either. We would've never found out. 5) it is now going on 6 pm. I call meridian again to see what's going on with his medications. Just for them to have no idea why it got sent to two different places, and they couldn't even figure out what queens pharmacy. The gentlemen over the phone did say he'd try to submit it to Walgreens even though queens already processed 2 of his meds. We both very much appreciate his effort, if he did try even though My fiancé is sick and needs meds and now has to wait another 8-12 hours until he can get the rest of his meds. read more

If I could give a negative review I would. Arrived at 9am. Waiting until 10:25am in the lobby to find out that the doctor hadn't arrived yet. I then made an appointment for 11:30am and left. I then returned at 11:30am. Waited in the lobby for 60 min until I was taken into a room. I then sat in the room for an additional 90min until an iPad video conference was presented to me with a telemed doctor. He the spoke to me for 5 min and told that I am all good to go. I need to schedule a follow up appointment. Complete waste of time at this facility. Only reason i came here is due to workman's comp insurance. -5 stars for this place read more

1100: I came in for a z-pac prescription. This urgent care has a solid two hour wait is what im told. Staff is courteous but understaffed. No restrooms despite the wait. Summary: One step below burger King. You won't get it your way. There is zero urgency by licensed medical providers at Meridian Urgent Care. I've been here before on weekends but the week day is a problem that Im finding This facility is understaffed and overwhelmed. Whoever owns this place needs to spend the money that makes people want to come back. The lobby has 30 people waiting and equally frustrated. I can go to the hospital ER for less headache. I have PPO insurance. UPDATE: two HOURS into the URGENT CARE and was called to the window for my co-pay. I was then informed that there is NO Doctor ON-SITE. This place is a money-grab. I appreciate the purpose of these type places but this one is extra deficient for service by clinicians (not staff emplyees) to patients. Still waiting...1415. sent to the room to be seen. they took my blood pressure but no comment on high or low. I guess I'm good. I was asked my weight and I accidentally understated by 100 pounds but they still wrote the lessor weight into the chart. I'm waiting...I'm told the iPad doctor will join shortly. no Doctor or Physician Assistant on site today. Another twenty minutes and staff came in with iPad to talk to tge Dr. I gave him my symptoms and ONE minute I have a prescription and left. Grea triage effort by staff to serve the clients. Just save yourself 3 hours and go straight to the ER. it's all they are going to tell you to do anyway. You'll still have to wait 6-10 hours in the ER but atleast you saved yourself time by skipping the urgent care. I'm not sure what they are able to do since each time I have came they send me out with a "physician referral" which does absolutely nothing at the ER either, I still waited 10 hours with one. Place is dirty, and why am I paying money and waiting 3 hours in a waiting room to FaceTime a doctor. Pathetic. read more

Update: my dad is finally home after 2 weeks in the ER and an additional month of home care with antibiotic IV drips. He had 3 surgeries total. The doctor bottom line should have at least took a look at the abscess and ordered blood tests which is standard procedure for infections. Or if he even looked at the wound and decided it was far too infected and sent him to the ER right away when he came in. My dad very much could have died due to the severe infection and necrosis if it was left untreated. The negligence this doctor had by not telling him to go to the er, forgetting to order the prescriptions, and failure to order any blood tests. Is beyond frustrating. Waited 2 hours with sick a babies to call and find out how much longer and they said they are closed. but we were told we could wait in the car to be seen. Suffering, in a lot of pain. That's nobody's fault but the care didn't seem to be there. Very 'suck it up you're on your own' vibe. Everyone did their jobs just enough. Nurse was polite. Don't ignore the other reviews - My experience mirrored theirs. Plan to wait regardless of what you're in there for. The service, despite the sprinkles of politeness, did not meet my expectations as a standard for general urgent care healthcare. These people are useless. Made an appointment and informed them of the reason, maybe needing an x-ray. We get there, and there is no doctor. They're doing their visits via iPad! They could have mentioned this during the phone call and not wasted our time. They sent my spouse out in pain, no medications, and no x-rays because they're not sure of the insurance. The worst place to go if you need medical attention i went with my wife to do some tests and they kept us in there for more then 2 hours without care about us just left us to wait on the lobby and after they took her in the room the doctor came after 1 hour and 15 min . really great experience here! been here now three times over the last two years and each time has been good. The big thing for me is that the doctors are great! Each time I've gone their level of care for urgent care is wonderful. Wait time isn't too bad, but that's something you prepare for at an urgent care. I am told that there is always a doctor here. But i have come 3 times in the last 2 years and never once has the actually been a physician on site only on a IPAD. How can they truly evaluate something without being physically in the doctor. How do you maintain quality of care and in an urgent care how is this even safe. The last time I came in. I has cut my toe and it would not stop bleeding the Dr asked the person helping us to put a pressure bandage on and they had no clue after 2 attempts and blood everywhere where I finally took it and did it myself. This is not safe. And on top of it he was cleaning it with paper towels both my foot and the floor he verbally stated he did not have the proper cleaning supplies for either my foot or the floor!
