I ended up asking for referrals to a good dentist in Venice and now I am scheduled with that new dentist in the first week of April. I will transfer my records and see if the new Doctor, referred by several people from Nextdoor.com and another dental office in Venice, are a good fit for my needs. Candidate #3, Kathie Allen, listened to my dilemma and graciously agreed to see me right away. I found her, and her assistant, to be professional, knowledgeable, friendly and caring. Office has canceled three appointments as a new patient for random reasons, leaving a poor…read moreimpression. lack of digital records being sent to new office electronically; feels like an insurance grab they only send paper documents to new office no one can read even though the images were taken in high tech xrays machines. poor communication from the receptionist and lack of ability to reschedule sooner rather then once down the road. example, they closed office for a week during my exam date and then offer an appointment months later rather then making our appointments a priority since they canceled a ton of people for an entire week. overall 1 out of 10; definitely not smiling.
