Just gorgeous, perfectly maintained, fast greens. All their staff were super friendly too. From the girl who checked us in to the knowledgable sweet man we got to talk to for a while before we teed off (I didn't get his name!). Shoutout to Danielle the cart woman, she was just a peach and always came to find us when we needed cold drinks! The scenery screams Florida with all the beautiful trees, iguanas and bodies of water. Women's Bathrooms - Clubhouse one dark, one out of toilet paper, one did not flush. Hole 2 dryer did not work. East Course not in great condition. Too much money for the entire experience. Way better alternatives for the high price. read more

Played here 2 years ago on the East course, played 9/13 on the west, amazing how nice and manicured with so much rain. Cart path only was tough on this old man , but the fairways were soaked. Definitely understand. Couple things I'd expect to be different would be charging for range balls, kinda lame considering I just dropped $450 for 2 to play and club rentals . Then I dropped another $300 in shop after round. Tried to order beer from cart and it wasn't an option, So I called and she said she would have them ready, guess what she didn't. But there's the real kicker and bummer for me, she crams 6 beers in a plastic bag with a scoop of ice .. no coolers???? Cmon guys this is south Florida it's hot, and so was my beer in 3 holes. Other than that Everyone here is so nice it's wild!! I say this because generally clubhouse or starters often just go through the motions . The guy and gal in the clubhouse were very nice . Bag guys ( men in blue ) extremely friendly and nice. Starter was great! Now let's talk about the cauliflower soup didn't even know that was a thing , soup lady!! My friends and I recently played four rounds in two days at Jacaranda, and I have to say, the course itself is fantastic. The fairways were in excellent condition, the greens rolled true, and the layout offered a nice mix of challenge and playability. One big plus was the staff--at least on Saturday. The service felt a bit dismissive on Friday, but Saturday was a completely different experience. The staff was far more welcoming, professional, and attentive, which made a noticeable difference in the overall atmosphere. That said, some of the extra charges were ridiculous for a golf establishment of this quality. Charging for range balls and even tacking on a credit card payment fee felt excessive. You'd think those basic things would be included in the prices they already charge. It felt like they were nickel and diming players at every turn, which took away from an otherwise premium experience. On top of that, if you didn't show up with cash at the bag drop, you didn't get much of anything--not exactly the level of service you'd expect at a course of this caliber. Overall, the courses are great, especially if you play on a Saturday when the service is at its best. Just be prepared to shell out a little extra for things that should really be included. read more

Today I invited my friend Thursday Buffet, and I can tell you we aren't disappointment with quality of food, everything was delicious. We certainly will returning and I learned there patio is pet friendly so will be back with my Poodle. Jacaranda Golf Club is absolutely beautiful. It's a great place for a wedding reception. I attended a wedding reception here. The Bride and Groom had a photo shoot in the Garden. The reception room was spacious with the dance floor, podium and everything necessary for a successful event. They food was prepared and served with exceptional professionalism. Everything was delicious and everyone had a good time. Jacaranda has two 18 hole courses. It's rated Four Star by Golf Digest. It's considered semi private. They do hold public events. Their members do not have monthly minimums or year end assessment fees. There's a lot more membership benefits you can find on their website. I highly recommend you contact them if you are interested in a venue for your special event. You will get professional service in a beautiful atmosphere. read more

They do a great job from the guys welcoming you and getting your bag loaded on the cart to the team in the bar and restaurant/snack bar. Everyone does a great job. If you don't like golf.. you will when you play here. This is my favorite golf course.. I started playing golf so I could spend more time with my husband because he loves to play. I found it to be so peaceful and beautiful to be out on a course that I really started to enjoy it. The greens here are really well kept, and the scenery is gorgeous. Nice golf carts also.. that's always a plus to me; I prefer carts that tell the distance to the hole and have USB ports for charging your devices if needed. When it rains hard it absolutely floods the course here (trust.. it gets crazy deep), but the rest of the time it's fantastic. And thankfully you can get a rain check when necessary. There's both an East and a West course here, and you can't go wrong with either, though one has more water than the other.. so that's up to your preference. Along the water there are also a lot of rocks.. to me it just adds to the scenery, but it is more place for your ball to get stuck, or even to bounce off of. There is some nice wildlife on this course also because of all the water. read more

3 1/2 stars. This is a review for the Grill Room. Went for family brunch. Do not expect a full diner type menu. The menu is limited with specials every weekend. There are breakfast type items but you can also order sandwiches, burgers, and some salads. The best part of brunch is that the soup and bread bar is included with all items. On the day of our visit the soups were Beef Vegetable and Butternut Squash. We all went for the latter. The soup was creamy and tasty. It did not have a huge butternut squash taste, but it was still very good. There were 3 varieties of bread, including raisin, sourdough, and garlic (with garlic cloves!). All are fresh baked and delicious! The butter was soft and there were plain and pumpkin flavors. Our entrees included: Eggs Benedict Florentine-Eggs were perfectly cooked! Honestly, I was too full from the soup and bread to eat much besides the eggs themselves! Stuffed French Toast-My husband loves the Frosted Flakes coating on the French Toadt served here. Nova Platter-I am not sure if you have to be Jewish to know the difference between Nova and Lox but the fish on this plate was not Nova. It was waaaay too salty and my son did not enjoy it. When asked about our meals we did mention this but all we got was a "sorry". Steak & Eggs-Huge portion of steak, seared on the outside, medium on the inside. My 14 year old did not love it but my husband enjoyed it for leftovers. Service was friendly and efficient. I don't think this will be a go to brunch location due to the limited menu. I went to an event here so I thoroughly enjoyed the room where the event took place. There was ample room for over 225 women and that was a plus. There was even room for vendors which was a plus . The waitstaff was extremely helpful and patient and got me as many cups of black coffee as I wanted! The bathrooms are a little outdated but the rooms were clean. There is plenty of parking or you can valet. When I was going there via waze, I thought am I really getting there because it is in a neighborhood but it was correct! read more

We drove to Florida to celebrate Jacob Atlas Campbell's first birthday. The function was held at the Jacaranda Golf Club. The facility was BEAUTIFUL and the staff was AWESOME!!! Beautiful golf course. But experience was ruined with poor maintenance schedule. Few weeks ago had a friend fly in town. Made sure to come here as it's a beautiful course. Steep price of $150 per golfer. But hey, it's a really good buddy. They started us on the 10 and said they are working 1-9 for some maintenance. 10-18 was perfect. We got to 1 and the crew was still on there. On worker had his back to us right in the line of aight and we feared we might hit him. 2, maintenance crew right on the green. 3 as I was putting I got with the sprinkler on the green. 4-7 same. Crews everywhere. 8, the person cutting grass, literally started as we went to shot. Once 9 came we were just frustrated and happy to be finished. Not the way we wanted to end the round. I left a note to them and the maintenance manager called and apologized. But could not offer anything or any reassurance it wouldn't happen again. I won't be back with rates this high and will now go in the summer when the rates aren't jacked up for the snow birds. Amazing course and hope you have what happened to us. Front 9 was a war zone. An army of maintenance workers with chainsaws and mowers blocked the fairways, and at one point prevented us from using the tee box. Most acted like we were not there and continued to drive in front of us. Only once did a maintenance driver stop while we played. All the others acted like we were in the way. Total trash. While the back 9 was better, the $120 was way overpriced. A $40 experience. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the pro shop who assured me that the course manager would be calling me shortly. Attended a private function here. Great venue for parties, weddings or any function. Sits right on the golf course with a magnificent view. The food that they served was extremely delicious and the staff is very nice. Will definitely be back because I heard they are open for dinners. Not sure but I will call to ask them. I saw a sign that you can golf all summer long for $35. Definitely something to look into. read more

Update to my review a few months ago. This course continues to impress! After all of the rain they have been working hard to repair many of the bunkers on both the east and west courses. Both courses are in great shape all the way around although the west continues to be my favorite. The staff has also continued to impress. The starters George and Bob are always a pleasure to speak with prior to my rounds. The rangers are also friendly and will routinely ask if everything is up to par. The biggest downside to me is the price of a small bucket of range balls (just under $10 for about 30-40 balls). The range is very nice but I still feel thats a bit steep. read more

I've been ducking in and out of here for years. I love the operation. I've had meetings and special events here for Plantation General Hospital, Plantation Rotary and the Plantation Chamber of Commerce. I also took my first golf lessons here. This is a lush, well-manicured and gorgeous golf course and country club tucked behind palm trees, awesome golf ranges, hills and lakes. Amazing venue! I've been to about 30 weddings. It takes a lot to really impress me, simply because I've seen it all. I was highly impressed with this venue. This is the first venue I've been to that I would actually consider for my own wedding. Of course, a lot of the details were from the bride - but the ceremony was gorgeous! Very private and visually beautiful surroundings. Complimentary valet parking for the guests! They even drive you to the location on a golf cart. Been playing here for years. Made a tee time, showed up with a friend who was out of state for awhile. When we got there we discovered they want you to share a cart. If you feel that is not safe they want an additional $45 from you for a separate cart. We asked to see the manager twice to discuss as we were never told of this at the time we made the t time. The manager never came out to see us. Also, I asked several times for them to clean up the cart I was going to use. When I came out from the club house the cart I was going to use was never cleaned. read more

Seven snowbirds playing here on the first of our 3-day boyzzz golf weekend and were very impressed with our choice, minus the grumpy starter who seemed confused that we wanted to hit balls on the range 1-hour prior to our T-time. Great friendly staff and always eager to accommodate us. Recently I booked a tee time over the phone and for some reason, either me or the rep mixed it up. We arrived at our tee time to find out there was a tournament and we could not get out on either course...BUT the great staff at the desk, realizing the mixup, staff sent me and my golfing buddy to the starter and he got us out between traffic. Thank you! Fairways and greens are in great shape, and we love the Jacaranda Card. We did not renew the Premiere as Jacaranda is NOT on it...so that makes it easier to get a tee time as the Premiere members are playing elsewhere. BTW: Best hotdog in Broward County. We got monsooned on and this place drained like a bathtub. Hardly affected the track at all. Very well designed and maintained. Joe and John in the shop both were friendly and knew what they were doing. GPS in the carts. Food & Bev cart available when you want it but not all over you. I'll play here again. They have a $200 deal that cuts a bunch of dough off fees for the entire offseason that I'm considering as well. read more

I am so disappointed in what has happened to this course. A few years ago if was by far one of if not the best course I Broward county. Now I am not so sure if it makes top 10. The west course is a complete disaster. I will post pictures. They said there greens team sprayed weed killer on the course and it wasn't mixed properly. Things happen. But why would you not tell golfers that the course is not in great shape. Also the price for summer is crazy. 85 bucks to play a dog track? Davie is in better shape. Plantation is in better shape. All the rebranding of the course is great but another course did the same thing. It wasn't generating the money it should and tried to and some unique touches. Hoverboard golf carts. 5000 dollar joke in one. Updated pro shop. But that course failed because the actual course was neglected. That course was Heron Bay. I hope that the team a Jacaranda gets it together. This place is to nice for this type of low end golf. read more

Where do I even begin?? Is there a negative rating?? I would always want to give a place a second chance before submitting a review, because we all know that anyone can have an "off day".. This place will never get a second chance from me. A girlfriend of mine has been raving about the Golf Club Bar & Grill as long as I have known her so I figured I should give it a shot. What a waste of taking a long lunch! When we arrived, it was pretty packed - this could only mean that it was an amazing place, right?! Nope! Not by any means! We were seated after a few minutes and as we waited for our 3rd friend to arrive, we ordered some waters and looked over the menu. Each and every salad (I am a Huge salad person.. I could eat salad every meal of every day) looked fantastic.. and I set my sights on the Spinach Salad. After our friend arrived, we all ordered "lunch sized portions" of each of our selections and helped ourselves to the complimentary soup and bread bar - the Navy Bean soup was great; a little bit of spice and just the right amount of creamy. Yeah.. then our salads came. I'll start with mine.. Pretty good (nothing great, but nothing horrible).. until I found a long strand of hair (not blonde).. Ugh! And I just cut my (blonde) hair pretty short, so I knew it was not mine... I was done eating. Next.. one of my friend's salad came as the "full size" (not what she ordered), so she asked to see someone about getting just the "lunch portion".. Not a huge deal to me, as I would have boxed up the leftovers and had them for dinner.. but.. so not the point. The waiter came over and proceeded to argue with her (so rudely) - "It's only a $1.50 difference, I don't know what the big deal is" and "Just pack up what you don't eat and take it home". This is not even the best part.. the waiter, Jordan, huffs and puffs as he walks away and slams his fist against the bar in frustration (loudly).. Seriously?!?! Three tables around us jumped and looked at him in dis-belief.. Did this really just happen? Who acts like that? I was disgusted! The manager's weak apology ("Jordan is so nice and respectful, it's really not like him at all..B.S.) was not enough to erase this experience from my mind. This place is not for me in the least bit. The appalling behavior was beyond anything that I have ever experienced. I will go elsewhere to find myself an Amazing salad! And I would never.. ever.. recommend checking this place out. Played the East course today and really can't understand all the good reviews. For a course this pricey ($100 for non residents) the fairways were overgrown to the point that balls that had been hit straight down the fairway were easily lost in the dense grass. A good leaf blower would also go a long way in cleaning up most of the holes. For a fall Friday afternoon the course was nearly empty which might explain why it was in such poor-to-fair condition but that's really no excuse. read more

Nice golf facility. Played the west course. Course is in great condition. Fairways, rough, greens, etc. Only beef I have with the maintenance is the sand in the traps. Looks like sand, plays more like dirt, Golf course is not the most exciting layout. I found all the par 3's to be boring. A few interesting holes here and there but for the most part, what you see is what you get. Greens roll true and at times are quicker than they look. I was very impressed with the condition of the greens. Biggest let down is the final hole. #18 is a short par 4. The greens alone worth coming back to play. read more

We played both courses this past weekend. Courses were in great shape and the pace of play was perfect - foursome in under 4 hours. We all thought the East Course was lovely but we preferred the West Course cause it is a bit prettier and perhaps a bit more challenging. Water hazards on both courses aren't serious obstacles. Highly recommend for a nice morning or afternoon of golf. Only negative was they were maintaining the course on one of the days we were there and having 4 tractors surrounding you and making a lot of noise did disrupt our play. Thankfully it only affected 3 holes. read more
