We had to hire the golf pro at Jacaranda due to Nick's lack of responsiveness. We have money to spend yet it seems that Nick is not interested in the business. What a shame. If you don't want private instruction then this place is great. Staff is very friendly too.

Higher quality lettuce was in the salad, and the pricing was very fair. Service was friendly but it seemed to be spotty with some people doing most of the work and others just standing there. The Cuban sandwich my friend had was rated very good but a touch salty, keep it in mind if you have a salt restriction. You should try it at least once if you are in the area. Indoor dining has a nice view of the golf course, you can also sit outside when the weather permits.

I spent years growing up playing golf here and eating at the club restaurant with my family and friends. My father was an avid golfer and had dreams for me that I wasn't interested in fulfilling. I had lessons by the pro at the club and from my father. They had tournaments for various age ranges of children. I won a couple of trophies in my early teens. On holidays like July 4th they had hot dogs. My father would play golf and we couldn't wait for him to get home because he brought us each a couple hot dogs. The weekly buffet dinners were fantastic spreads with prime rib and all kinds of other meats, vegetables, bread and deserts. Definitely pig out feasts. We loved to go because they had bingo after the buffet! It was fun for all ages. My father purchased his membership in the 1950's. When he passed away in 1990 my mother was forced to sell the membership. The membership required you spend a certain amount of money annually in the clubhouse. We couldn't afford to entertain family and friends like we had in the past. Besides when my mother aged no one was left to go to the buffet or play golf and lunch at the clubhouse. I'm highly recommending this club if you're a serious golfer. The place is maintained meticulously. There's even a tree planted in my father's name next to one of the holes where he got one of his 7 hole in ones!

If they want to keep it operational theyre way overdue for a maintenance check. It doesnt need much, no major overhaul, but I bet theres 1 small thing wrong with each of them. The majority of the cages are taped off and inoperative, the ones that allow you to put coins in hardly work. One cage launches balls straight but jams up after 2 pitches. Another throws all over the place. I keep giving it another shot in hopes that I get them on a day theyre working but now they dont work well enough to come back. $14 for 6 tokens, I got about 8 pitches total out of 4 tokens between 2 cages. I left my other 2 tokens for someone with more patience than me. The staff is super friendly and im sure they wouldve given me a refund but it just wasnt worth my time. Imagine going to a restaurant for steak you know will be awful, knowing they'll happily refund you. Whats the point in even going? Would you go bowling knowing after 2 frames the machine would break, but you get a refund? Why go bowl there at all. So much potential here as its in a great park at a great location. Im willing go bet for under $5k they can have it up an operating fully that would last over a year without maintenance. Great staff, mostly clean place, if you try it and dont succeed you'll get your money back, but it won't be worth your time until they hire some qualified maintenance. Stephen is my 3rd golf instructor who I happened to come across via a google search during a quick…read morevisit to Ft. Lauderdale. This is my 2nd year of golfing & within a 1hr lesson he has transformed my game! He watched a few of my hits & knew right away what my swing issues were. I'm still in shock at the distance I'm getting with my driver (my most challenging club) & with my clubs in general. It's still taking some practice to ingrain my new move of rotating my hips to the right with my back swing (including lifting my left foot to get that movement since I don't have the flexibility yet) along with slowing down my swing so that I'm on the proper swing plane. End result is I'm more consistent with hitting the sweet spot & my ball is flying yards further rather then the former mis-hits which included hitting the ground behind the ball & losing lots of power. My last couple of rounds were so much more fun as a result of at least getting distance with my driver & clubs in general. Each euphoric hit ended with a "thank you Stephen!" It's due to my lesson with him that I've truly seen my game transformed. I wish he was closer to California but will gladly fly back to have future lessons &/or do remote/video lessons.

Our group of five had an incredible time-- I returned for a private lesson with another member of our group after the program ended. Michele is exceptionally patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Even while managing a rotator cuff injury, I felt fully supported and motivated to improve my swing. Her expertise and positive approach have made a lasting impact on my game.
