I play Davie Golf weekly. It has become one of the better Broward county public courses. The layout has always been fun but the new greens make it worth the trip. Davie Golf Club is owned by the Town of Davie. It has always been the best golf for inexpensive green fees. The Golf Club Employees greet you with a smile. You can find out more at their website. It's 18 holes and not a very difficult course as I remember. Davie Golf Club is just a short drive from Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood beaches, 10 miles from Fort Lauderdale Airport, and just minutes from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood. There's a lot of my favorite activities nearby. When I resided in Davie I was here frequently. Recently Davie Golf Club was the selected location for the latest music video from DJ Khaled featuring Justin Bieber. The song is called "Let It Go." I'm sure that will be Davie Golf Club's claim to fame from now on! If you enjoy golf and don't want to spend a fortune, this is the course for you. read more

I love this course. Sure, the greens are terrible, but with the price being only $30 for 18 holes with a golf cart during the day and $16.05 for 18 holes with a golf cart after 5pm in the summer, you can't complain (Unless you desire perfection lol). This is a really fun course overall and I highly recommend you try it out. Only have it 4 stars because of the greens, they will mess you up sometimes but be ready for that. read more

I've been playing golf now for 52 years and have probably played every course here in South Florida in my 33 years here both public and private. I'm at the point where I just enjoy getting out especially with my sons and that is where Davie Golf Club fits in. Formerly known as the Arrowhead Golf Course, the signature aspect of this course is the greens. I don't think you'll find a course in South Florida with more undulating greens. Add to that the fact that the course has been and still is undergoing a renovation and having played last week can attest to the great improvements in the course condition. Tee boxes, fairways and the greens are in excellent shape. Could go on and on, but this course is a joy to play and is very challenging with the greens. Singling out holes 13 & 16. Hate them but love the challenge. Hopefully they are looking at building a nice clubhouse. I'll be back and very often. A lot of fun. read more

Played here on a Saturday with high expectations. The tee box was all disheveled and fairway had spots of unkept grass. Don't even get me started on the greens. I usually putt well, but when you take into considerations the dirt holes and leaves anyway can go from birdie to triple bogie real quick. There was also too much water for my liking. I was visiting from out of town and wanted a casual, reasonably priced round. Good Callaway Maverick rental clubs. Nice layout with water on every hole with a few iguanas and egrets to keep you company. You will be challenged. Greens need work and they say they are being redone. Bunkers are maintained, but rocky. First time I experience a golf cart with a bunker rake holder! Friendly staff, very accommodating. read more

My son and I were traveling to South Florida and wanted to get a round in. Very friendly staff, challenging course for beginner/intermediate golfers - many water hazards. Also we played shortly after the heavy rain storms so parts of the course were wetter than usual. read more

I played at Davie Golf Club this past weekend and was surprisingly impressed. I'm currently working on my mediocre golf game, so I usually try to find a cheaper course to get some reps. This tactic usually leads to disappointment with the course conditions and amenities. Not the case at all here! When I pulled up to the clubhouse, which amounts to a triple-wide trailer, I was expecting the same results as my usual poor golf course choices. That fear diminished after I paid a fair price for the round, and practically nothing for a couple drinks. It was all but eliminated at the first tee box, which was in great condition and overlooked an equally solid fairway. Two or three fairways had recently been sprayed to get rid of some invasive grass, so they were a little rough, but the rest were in fantastic condition. Can't blame someone for keeping up with maintenance! The greens were in great shape as well and were very entertaining. LOTS of steps and undulations. On top of that, there is water in play on practically every hole. The lake driving range is nice, but short (~220yds or so). It also has a bunker at the last position on the range so you can practice sand shots right next to someone hitting long irons. Never seen this before, but its a great idea. Overall, this course is a great challenge for a good price and will definitely be my go-to course now. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the course hosts a mens-league a few times a week that seemed very casual and fun. I'll definitely be back every chance I get! read more

Great course! A lot of water and hazards. I'm about 2 months into playing golf on a regular weekend basis, so i felt the course was a little more advanced for me seeing as I lost 15 balls lol. Played here not too long ago. I also come here often to use the range. The staff has always been courteous and helpful. When I played the course was in okay shape. The greens were certainly the best part of the course. The fairways were a little beat up, not terrible but not great either. It is certainly a unique layout. Lots of fun, interesting and challenging holes. You will definitely need to hit the ball well. There is water on almost all of the holes so be prepared to place your shots. I personally enjoy that in a course so that was cool. They recently renovated their driving range and did a good job. There are now bunkers to hit from and the grass has all been reseeded. They do occasionally use mats to hit off of and I am not a big fan of them but that is not the norm here. If you get a decent deal I would say check it out. read more

If golfing in a trailer park is your idea of a good time, Davie Golf & Country Club is the place for you! The Good: - The only reason I gave Davie 2 stars and not 1 is that the layout of the golf course is great. There are a lot of fun holes, multi-tiered greens on almost every hole, and cleverly placed hazards that force the player to really think. The Bad: - The course is literally built into a trailer park in one of the most impoverished areas of Davie. Expecting to see beautiful Florida scenery? Think again. - Course was in absolutely terrible shape. The fairways were like dirt pits and it was next to impossible to find a level, grassed area on the tee box. The greens were decent however. The Ugly: - This course stinks. Literally. The smell coming from the water around the course was absolutely nauseating. I have never experienced anything so foul on a golf course. - The bugs are brutal. There are swarms of mosquitoes everywhere. This is also something that I've never experienced on a golf course. Playing golf in the summertime in South Florida I expect bugs, but this place is just out of control. I was pretty surprised that this course was even permitted to operate in this condition as it seemed to me a serious health hazard. In closing, Davie would have been fun if the course was in better shape and it didn't smell and feel like the elephant pen at the zoo. With so many great golf courses in and around the Ft. Lauderdale/Palm Beach/Miami areas you'd do better playing elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and give this one a pass. read more

Awesome place to work awesome place to golf, while the club house is still underway the course remains in tack and the maintenance works so hard it doubles as a wild life protection spot. Awesome place to visit if your in the area. While working here i've spotted blue jays, insane amount of other cool birds, tons of gorgeous monarchs, baby peacocks, iguanas, and some beautiful endangered bunnies. A customer actually informed me today the first bald eagle he ever saw was many years ago on this course! read more

I really like this golf course. It's pretty cheap when you go out when the rates go down. Has a lot of challenging holes with water in play on most of them. The greens are really fun, playing them will give you good putting practice. Only thing I don't like is there always crowded an takes forever to finish the round. read more

I live in the building across he golf course, and I am so upset and tired of disrespectful people who come and play golf. They play music all the time, sometimes in the evening they make it even loud. It's really annoying because someone I living there and not playing, people working, we have kids who sleep in the day time. Very very bad, so I only guess people who belong to the club are not very intelligent or the owner doesn't care and doesn't advise their members to keep music down and respect others read more

First off, I have golfed here before with some friends & Watched some friends golf here as well. I live on the golf course & jog there everyday for the past 2 years. Never have I encountered harassment or harm, if a ball flys to me usually golfers are very polite & immediately apologize & ask if I'm okay. I am always cautious being a jogger around that area and understand the risk I am taking. Yesterday I went for one of my daily jobs & I was physically assaulted by two men who not only hit me once - but TWICE with golf balls after they had threatened me to not be on the golf course. I ignored them when they first shouted at me saying I shouldn't be jogging there, and when I ignored them they hit me twice with their golf balls in my back and called me "b*tch" & "dumb*ss" as they drove away. I called the police to get them involved and they told me i can press charges. One of the workers who's name is Matt and works in the gift shop told me it's not worth taking action and that he already spoke to the owners and they had agreed to NOT ban the assailants, even AFTER I showed them the video footage and pictures I took of the incident. Davie golf is not taking responsibility or action on this and I am extremely upset & shaken up from the incident. They would rather keep the business of two men who clearly aren't a good look and who are harmful to people around them than make sure people who come there to golf, walk, or spectate are safe!!! Shameful & disgraceful. Poor etiquette & poor proper crisis management ! I am getting ready to file a lawsuit against them. DONT give them your money, they don't care about you and obviously their morals are corrupt. read more

I've been playing here for 10 years and it continues to get worse. Currently waiting at the 3rd hole tee box 45 min after my tee time. Tee time separation is poorly mismanaged and letting groups of 5/6 tee off at the same time for one tee time. Will be finding a new "home" golf course. read more

The old Arrowhead golf course went through extensive renovations during the 595 expansion. This is a tough course. Not long but water on 15 holes and some tough undulating greens. Almost every hole has a unique quality to it. Fairways, greens and tee boxes are in good shape. Makes for a fun round and very inexpensive especially during tourist season. Buy the loyalty card if you plan on playing more than 4 rounds. Great deal. Only complaint: Twice the pretzels from the beverage cart were expired and stale. read more
