I've always had really great experiences with this site for years. I always receive a txt message when my items are ready and they always seem to be ready before promised. Last week, I needed my son's martial arts uniform pressed at the last minute and they turned on their equipment and pressed it within a few minutes as I waited. Good team and friendly service .... I really appreciate that this location has a drive up service but you can also walk inside and frankly sometimes it's easier. I would say about one in four trips to this location will result in unsatisfactory service but nothing too bad, just some creasing on the jacket where there shouldn't be. Staff has always had my suites same day as promised and they do run a large volume of garments a day. They probably just need additional team members at this location to handle all the business they do. read more

This place is on point with the service and very quick with the dry cleaning. They came through a few times in the clutch when needed the most with some dry cleaning. Worst cleaners in SA. They ruined a brand new sweater. Lucy McCumber, Manager agreed they ruined it and asked for the receipt. For months now I get the old "check is in the mail" routine. Now she nor the cleaners will take my phone calls and they have virtually STOLEN my sweater! So today I am off to Small Claims Court to file a claim for the sweater + the cleaning charge + attorneys fees + service fees + time, effort and mental anguish I have experienced in trying to settle this claim in a business like manner. By far the worst cleaners I have ever used. For about $7 an item, you would expect to get your clothes cleaned and pressed right. In more than one occasion, my clothes were returned dirty and wrinkly. Also, we dropped off one of my wife's dressed and were charged over $30 for cleaning. STAY AWAY!!!!! Traveled from NJ to Texas for a family wedding. Dropped off my suit to Slater White on Stone Oak Parkway the day before the wedding to have it pressed. Showed up the next day to pick it up and the pants were missing. Even though Patty wasn't the one that took my original order she insisted that I never dropped off any pants. I explained that I certainly dropped off a jacket and pants and that I needed to be at a wedding ceremony in less than 90 minutes. She was rude and condescending and told me she was done with me as she had to help other customers. I reiterated the fact that I had to be at a wedding in 90 minutes but she didn't care. She told me to call the store manager when they re-open on Tuesday after the Labor Day Holiday. Again I reminded her that I was on my way to a family wedding but she couldn't have cared less. I asked her to at least make an effort to look for my pants. She rolled her eyes and told me that there wasn't anything to look for since I didn't drop off any pants. Patrizia the seamstress was on duty and overheard what was going on. She was a real angel with heart and compassion and offered to look for my pants. She really took her time but to no avail. My pants were nowhere to be found. I was given the cell number for Lucy the manager. I left several messages and never received a return call. I was forced to drive to the nearest mall which was over twenty minutes away and had to purchase a new suit for almost $300. I had to send my wife to the wedding without me and I ended up missing almost the entire ceremony. The disappointment and stress were off the chart. When I returned to New Jersey I called the store and spoke to the store manager Lucy who acknowledged receiving my phone calls but offered no reason for not calling me back. She told me that they don't have any record of me dropping off any pants but she would look for them. Later that day Lucy called me back to let me know that my pants were found "behind the table". She said she would mail them to me and I would have them in a couple of days. I told her I wanted to be compensated for the suit I had to purchase. She quickly replied that they "Can't be responsible for that". She also told me she would text me the phone number for the corporate office. Over a week later and I still didn't have my pants and never received the phone number as promised. I finally received my pants and had to find the number for Slater White Corporate on the internet. I have called several times and always get voice mail. No one from Slater White has ever called me back or apologized for the pain and expense that they have caused me. Stay away from this business. There is a reason why their rating is so low which I unfortunately didn't know until it was too late. read more

Very poor customer service and attitude...but convenient so I continued to use them...until they lost my suit and multiple pairs of pants. When I asked where they were, I was told I had my full order. Then they stated they would call me in 30 minutes with the status. 4 hours later, no call. I call them and ask where my clothes are....was told they would call me in another 30 minutes. I told them I'd like an answer now since they lost my clothes. I was rudely informed that "I didn't lose your clothes." Well then...who did? A manager finally called and told me that another person had taken my clothes home by accident and they would be returned the next day. The next day, I'm called and told that my clothes weren't taken by another person, they were "mis-placed" in the back and not under anyone's name. Another local cleaner who has "issues" with keeping track of your clothes. We used them for a while, and they did an ok job of cleaning, but then we lost shirts twice over two weeks. Only reason I gave them two stars is because unlike some other cleaners we've used, they at least reimbursed us for the lost items. read more

Interesting that people seem to have had such poor luck with this location. I have found them to be excellent. The staff is very friendly and engaging. I approved before opening on a recent Saturday and the staff gave me my cloths and took a new order. When I brought in soft cotton shirts the staff recommended a method to retain the softness. A pant hem needed mending and it was taken care of. I tried the "One Price" location up the road and smiles and energy were nowhere to be found. If I have to pay a bit extra to get employees that seem to want to serve you I am please to do so. read more

Zero quality control! I tried to switch to S-W but what a mistake. My first visit resulted in the return of clothes which could not have possibly been inspected....dirty collars, wrinkled fronts, collars bent and folded, pockets pressed wrinkled. The only redeeming thing was they are expensive!!!! Pay a lot for poor quality......just what I want. The quality was ok but the service were nicer until recently. There are new faces now and old faces were gone. The woman at the window was so unprofessional and rude. We went to pick up twice after 6 pm with no avail. Next morning I joked to her that she should give us the discount, and she went "oh your husband did not want to wait for another 15minutes" and that was the second time he went back for me the same evening!!! TERRIBLE dry cleaners. This applies to the location on Stone Oak and the one on Bitters. Took 100% $350 silk dress. Picked it up and it was still dirty. Took it back. They RUINED dress. It is faded now and the chemical they used damaged it all the way through to the back of the dress. They denied any chemical they have would have done such damage. Management Lucy was horrid and rude and denied the chemicals could do that. Going to stick with Cowboy cleaners in the future. read more

I used the 24 hour locker service to get my suit dry cleaned. When I went to retrieve my suit, it was not there, but a blouse was. I tried getting answer several times, but they dodge me by not calling me several times. Then they made me out to be a thief saying that the suit was in the locker and I took it. I was charged for the cleaning, I do not have my suit, they have not responded to me, and I was not given a shred of a benefit of a doubt, and they did not treat me like a valued customer. read more

This place has a 2 star rating for a reason, if I could give them 0 stars I would. I took my Chanel sweater to be dry cleaned here and when it came time to pick them up, the dry cleaning machine was mysteriously "broken" so my items weren't cleaned. After a few days later, I get my sweater back with 2 missing buttons! They said that my buttons were loose to begin with, which if that was the case they should have covered the buttons so they wouldn't fall off. They gave me my sweater all covered and wrapped up and failed to mention the missing buttons. Luckily I looked over my items and noticed the missing buttons, and they still charged me for it! This sweater is $1,600, you would think that they would be more careful so they didn't have to pay for damages... I tried to talk to the "manager" who was all but rude and unhelpful and said that people's buttons fall off all the time it's not their problem... This is the kind of service to expect from these people, if I were you I would look anywhere else to dry clean my clothes. read more
