    Worst Insurance Experience Ever - Highly Recommend Avoiding Debbie Anderson and State Farm…read more If you're a 20-something driver with no driving record or previous claims looking for a straightforward experience with insurance, do not utilize Debbie Anderson at State Farm. I'm beyond frustrated with her lack of professionalism, transparency, and, frankly, common decency. First off, Debbie set up a meeting with me... and then no-showed. When I asked her about it, she said it was for "personal matters" and that I should just understand. She didn't even bother to reschedule herself and her assistant failed to notify me of a cancellation or attempt to reschedule until the following week. When I called to cancel my policy, I had to go through her entire call log to verify that Debbie was, in fact, the one who missed the meeting in the first place, just to get an acknowledgment of how much time we wasted on the phone after the fact. Debbie had the audacity to tell me that her own daughter, who is my age -- 26 -- doesn't use State Farm due to their lack of coverage and overpriced premiums. So why am I looking for better rates if even your own family isn't using it? Debbie tried to upsell me on a cheap $125k life insurance policy as a "solution" to my car insurance rates. Instead of offering me real coverage or a way to make my premiums more affordable, she pushed a policy that was borderline insulting. The minuscule policy had so many gaps in coverages and a high deductible for the auto insurance. I had two collision claims where I was not at fault over my 6 years with State Farm. I've still yet to see the deductibles owed to me on either one of those claims. I've followed up multiple times, only to be met with silence, excuses, "find it on our app," "let me transfer you to our claims department." They are garnishing the wages of the person who hit me through subrogation -- yet they have not paid a penny back to my deductible. If this is how State Farm treats their customers after an accident, imagine how they treat you when it's time to renew or make a change to your policy. When I had $18,000 worth of damages to my vehicle, State Farm failed to properly assess the situation and totally missed the mark by not totaling the vehicle. Instead, they put me through unnecessary delays and stress while I was left with a totaled car and a feeling that my time and concerns were completely disregarded. Auto Owners and AAA will accommodate you with more coverage that is more comprehensive and options for no deductibles for the same or lower cost. I canceled my policy with Debbie herself and I wasn't notified of a timeline for receiving the reimbursement on my canceled policy, and I haven't seen any email confirmation/statement of cancellation/money back regarding the cancellation. Just another thing to continuously watch and waste time with Debbie Anderson State Farm until I receive my refund and cancellation.
