Maxwell not only exceeds our expectations every. single. time. but he knows how to perfectly curate a look for you based on your inspiration and your unique look. I have been getting my haircut by Hesham for over a year now and I can't say enough great things. I LOVE LOVE LOVE My haircut every time. He's incredible at taking into consideration the small changes I ask for with curtain bangs or growing out length or adding more face framing. He is excellent at what he does, and a great person to boo. When I first went, I was nervous that this was a Men's only Salon, but this is the best women's haircut I've gotten in Orange County. My other girlfriend goes to him too. I loved her haircut so much, that I commented on it and that is how I found Hesham. He's the best!

I come to Jack Henry for my hair, facial and at home care. When I need my wig to get cut up I book an appointment with Hashem. If im going to travel or I'm well traveled, I look to Selah. Low on stock for daily care? No worries product readily available. (I'm a big fan of hair product, face oil and frequency) If there's a hiccup or a change, do not even worry whom ever is available will always be super accommodating and chill about all processes. Seriously this place is a safe-haven. Especially for those where maybe self-care is a newer idea. Do NOT hesitate and leave your shyness at the door. Book your next appointment asap! Or just stop on in .. good vibes are always appreciated . For real, I even bring my dog sometimes haha!

Patchy, looks like I have bald spots throughout, sideburns aren't even, my hair texture feels rough, the back is SO sloppy.

Wouldn't recommend... been here 10+ times. $84 for one of the worst haircuts I've had. Jack Henry Studios completely missed the mark, with INCREASED prices. The haircut has zero depth, no shape, and none of the basic fundamentals done correctly. The sides weren't faded or blended at all, the sideburns weren't aligned or even trimmed, and it looked nothing like what I asked for. This wasn't a stylistic choice -- it was sloppy. On top of that, he barely spoke to me the entire appointment and came off as egotistical and uninterested, as if the result didn't matter. For $84, I expect precision, communication, and professionalism. Instead, it felt rushed, careless, and lazy. Absolutely not worth the price, and I won't be returning, I see why over half the employees left the company. Jack Henry isn't the same as it was before, better off going somewhere else. The best employees branched off to "Dear Charlie".

Went in for a lymphatic drainage facial at the end of December and not a day goes by that I don't deeply regret it. My skin barrier is completely destroyed from the products that they used (like 4 to 5 different products were used on my face which is overkill) during my massage. The products were tingling and burning a little bit, and I asked the facialist if she's ever had anybody break out from their products and she said no. They claimed that all of their products are made in house, they should truly warn everyone that they are not suitable for all skin . I've always had very clear skin and my entire face has been covered in bumps for weeks now it's been nearly a month and I'm still suffering daily.

I've tried countless hair products and Jack Henry's Clay is the only one they combined great feel with hold. And it smells nice too! The service at this location is always great, and I'm always greeted with a smile. Will keep coming back as long as they don't change the formula! read more

i always go to jack henry and specifically to Kiki. she always does an amazing job and is very knowledgeable on her craft. i highly recommend her if you have longer/thicker hair, she does very well in that area. i have been going for a while and i have never left disappointed. 5 stars for sure! read more

Thought I would check this place out for their infrAred sauna and red light therapy! Thanks to classpass! I arrived and the studio smelled so so nice. Their products display was so clean and nice. The employee was super helpful and explained what I will be doing and the benefits of the sauna and red light. Super knowledgeable and great service. The sauna was nice. No TV or aux to plug in so I just was trying to focus on my breathing and zen myself out. After a 30min sauna session I went to do the red light and used their massage gun while standing there. I did 12 mins on each side front and back. They also had a facial toner to use and that smelled also amazing! After the sauna and red light therapy, I went across the hall and used their shower and their products. The bathroom was dark and cool looking. Their products were great and such a nice feature to be able to use their products before purchasing. After everything, I felt tight and refresh. The super cream they had was super moisturizing. Definitely debating on going back to purchase their products. Without classpass, I believe the infrared sauna and red light therapy session is $40. Not too bad! They also have memberships for you to do that and hair cuts! read more

OK... I know Jack Henry is catered for a male clientele, but ladies, listen up: do not sleep on the facials by esthetician, Rhia. I swear by the 45-minute "Skin Reset". Rhia customizes the session to the unique needs of my skin and personal goals. Expect a deep cleanse, facial massage (heavenly!), rejuvenating scrub/mask (no extractions) and the icing on the cake: micro-current with red-light/LED therapy. Rhia has all the best tools and devices that leaves your skin feeling dewy and seriously snatched! The Jack Henry serums smell so yummy, too. After getting a facial, I noticed they had an infrared sauna room which I had to try on my next visit. Very clean, private and the ambiance is sooo zen. They provide cold towels and access to their amenities (shower, products, etc.) too which really make it a spa-like experience. I use ClassPass to book both. Jack Henry is a must-try!! read more

Jack Henry Studios in Costa Mesa is an incredibly welcoming environment. Friendly smiles as soon as I walk in. Mellow vibe, cool decor. Then my hair stylist. Not only does stylist Kiki Tanka do a fantastic, consistent job every time she also makes the entire experience less of a choir and more like visiting a friend! I also like Jack Henry's membership club too. I highly recommend Kiki AND Jack Henry salon which is just a pleasing environment every time as well. read more

Walked in randomly from a nearby tire shop where my car was being repaired at and looked at all their products. I sampled their original perfume Balance. It reminded me of Tom Ford's Oud Wood but Jack Henry's is certified cruelty free and vegan. Props! Looking forward to wearing it as my everyday fragrance! read more

This place is great. Firstly, they have an amazing assortment of products. I've tried a few but my favorite is the hair cream, I would highly recommend it. Their scents are amazing too. I wanted to wait a bit to see how my hair grew out before making a review and it's been about 3 weeks. I can honestly say this is the best haircut I've ever had in my life. I booked with Charlemagne and he did a full initial consultation and asked amazing questions to figure out what I wanted. He cut it exactly how I asked and gave me some good pointers. Truly the best experience I've had at the barbers/salon. This place is slightly expensive, but you are getting quality service, great products, and an amazing haircut. If you're looking to be heard about what you want your hair to look like, this is the place to go. read more

4 stars. 5th pending. Clean and very professional . Tyler is the best in the game. However the AC situation needs to get fixed. I come every three weeks and it's ALWAYS hot. No one likes sitting in a chair and sweating while you pay $80 for a men's haircut. It's Southern California, get proper ac, one split unit not gonna get the job done. read more

I found out about Jack Henry through instagram ads. I was wowed by the marketing-- minimalistic spacious interior design, aesthetic products (with simple ingredients!), and the one-of-a-kind looking haircuts. It took me awhile to finally book an appointment because of the price point, but eventually I pulled the trigger. Oh, this place also has an infrared sauna? I have never in my life shelled out this much money for a hair cut. ($65 + my $20 tip totaling to $85. [Ouch] Plot twist- I became a member. Lets break down that membership. $65/mo You get a perfectly tailored haircut, a hair wash (lowkey doubled as a scalp massage too though, lol) a hot towel to your face paired with their toner, and then style your hair with their signature product. You also get 10% off products, and a very nice Jack Henry tote bag. The whole thing from start to finish was an awesome experience. However, one thing I would change to the service is to add on moisturizer paired with the toner. I noticed that my skin was dry and flaky from the hot towel drying out my skin, and then only having toner to moisturize. I booked with Alec for a haircut (@alec.devin on IG) Alec is so down to earth, easy to talk to, and he was absolutely knowledgeable about what he was doing. I have NEVER seen my hair cut and styled the way it was done. A whole new level. This haircut seriously gave me more confidence. Thank you, Alec! read more

I can't recommend this place enough. If you are a person who puts even a little bit of thought into how your hair looks then this is the spot for you. They will have you looking your absolute best. I originally wanted a high crew cut after having shoulder length hair for about a year and a half. Tyler recommended leaving a little bit of length at the top because he thought it would look nice. I pretty much let him do his thing and ended up with the best haircut I've ever had and the know how to recreate the styling at home. Thank you Tyler and Jack Henry. What a great business! read more

I've had my hair cut now by 3 different stylists (Gabe, Taylor, and Alec) and I've been extremely satisfied with all of them! Always very friendly, professional, and really know their stuff about hair. The front desk people, Nathan and Bridgett, are welcoming and personable too. Overall this place has a great look and feel and is somewhere that I always look forward to come back to. Doesn't hurt that the products are on point too. I recently had a skin therapy session at Jack Henry Studios in Costa Mesa. Rhia was incredible; she customized the skin reset (45-minute) session with a mixture of gentle exfoliation, micro current to stimulate collagen, hydration mask with cold ring treatment, and lymph gua sha massage. My skin is hydrated, glowing, and still looks plump. A great alternative to all the chemical skin treatments on the market. All natural, high-quality products and the latest treatment modalities! I like this salon for a few reasons. Stylists are top notch and I like the products they create and carry (I've seen Max for 8 years). There is also a great energy/vibe in the salon and surrounding area. The Back garage door is usually open and you can hear live music from Salty Bear picnic area. Highly recommend. read more

Had my first appointment here after going to the same shop for 6 years. While the pricing is higher than I am used to, I absolutely get the value from Jack Henry. Any cut from a place I've been in the past felt like getting fast food. Bryan took his time, using precision on my all-scissor cut. He also gave some great advice on how to style. Was VERY impressed with the outcome from Bryan. Longer hair cuts are tough to interpret usually, but this place nailed it. Also my gf, who normally hates my cuts, was a big fan. That alone is worth its weight in gold. Will definitely be coming back! Thanks gents. read more

Was in town for a work trip and in need of a touch up. Found this spot on Yelp and gave it a shot after seeing photos of the space. Super clean and minimalist tends to be right up my alley so figured it was worth a go. Booked the signature offering which included the cut, shampoo and a facial massage/moisturizer combo. Gonna miss that next time my local barber only offers a warm towel hah! Overall it was a friendly group operating the place and the great experience made me thankful I gave something new a try. Jack Henry is really an amazing place. The haircuts, the products, the sauna, and the service are all 5 STAR! I'm a loyal JH customer and enjoy every aspect of it. Love the employees and the haircuts and services they provide. The products I use everyday. The sauna I use religiously. The management team is top notch. If you live in the Orange County area you have to stop by and if not you have to order some products to try them out and you'll be a daily user after that. Really an awesome place! read more

Jack Henry is hands down the best barbershop and self-care studio in OC. If you are looking for a place with great people, great cuts, and great vibes, this is your spot. I spent years looking for a studio similar to what you find in LA or Denver with little luck. Stoked to find a spot that knows what they are doing for cuts and products. It's the best haircut I've ever received. I haven't experienced anything like it. Everyone I have seen takes the time to ask questions, review the look and feel you're trying to achieve in-depth, and then talk you through the process. Great vibes, great convos. I had an incredible experience at this barbershop. It's undoubtedly the best barbershop in Orange County. The ambiance is fantastic, and the service from the front desk to the end is top-notch. I've gone here a few times now. I've always had short hair and recently grew it out. Alec was great with talking through things with me and educating me on how to style longer hair. Max also cut my hair and had a great experience with him as well. They have great stylists and customer service, too - Sam was very helpful with scheduling and talking me through some options! read more
