I never have good luck when I come here. It usually takes a very long time to get through the line and the people at the window are usually not in a good mood. BUT the thing that is crazy to me is the jalapeño poppers. Is this pricing real? The worst part is that their poppers are almost always empty. I rarely get cheese in them. They're either over or under cooked every time. If I were to get a 3 piece I would be paying $1.53 for ONE empty popper. Plus tax. So it's just outrageous. I'm not sure if this is the standard pricing all over the place, or if this particular one is just hurting for money. Either way it's upsetting. So disappointing! Yesterday, Feb. 21st, Jack in the Box advertised 59 cents Jumbo Jack's in celebration of their anniversary. But all Colorado Springs were closed. Highly unusual. I texted their Corporate customer service and asked why. NEVER HEARD BACK! 59 cents? I asked for a coupon or gift card honoring this offer but nothing. (Something like this happens at Walmart or Target, they take care of the customer right then.) If they resolve this I will go back on here and let you know. I doubt they will. I'm not sure what the malfunction is but the person in the lobby in front of me had to wait 25 mins to get his food. He was seeing his food ready in the kitchen but no one was bagging it. Anytime we tried to ask where the food is, the manager is rapping very loudly to what I assume is his music playing in the store and says "it'll be a minute". One customer asked to turn off the music because of all of the N words in it, they just laughed. I waited 15 mins for 2 tacos and they were cold when I got them. The soda machine doesn't work, only for Fanta. Staff are shaking hands with their friends in the parking lot and then coming back inside and going straight to the kitchen to handle our food without gloves or washing their hands. Went there the service was great but the food was terrible. My mom had a buttery jack with no butter. The bun on my cluck sandwich was so hard I could knock on the table and it would make a noise. The fries were so dry and crusty my father had to drown them in ketchup to be edible. His burger was also so tiny it wasn't enough. I grew up with Jack in the Box in AZ and CA, but apparently it is a new thing here in CO! This place is by far my favorite fast food chain and for good reason- the food is BOMB! I generally order the tacos. Don't be mislead by the meat-paste filling... it is delicious! Trust me! Also, the Sourdough Jack and... well... any other burger there is great. Their fries are the best by far and their curly fries are delish as well! Also, they have really good shakes. Lastly, the service here is always stellar. If I could give it a -1 star I would. We placed an order for dine in. The cashier forgot our drinks and receipt. We still never got the receipt after asking. We didn't know what order number we were. We waited 30 minutes until my partner went to ask on the status. They had all of the food bagged up. Mind you, there was another guy that had been waiting since before we got there, and he still hadn't received his order too. We had several items missing, so we went back up to the front. Spent another 7 minutes waiting for an employee to acknowledge us. During that time the cashier was playing around with some teens that were hanging out in the dining room, and 2 other employees walked by. I go to eat my burger and there's a long ass hair in it. I was very happy yesterday evening when I found out that there was a jack in the box close by. It's been over 5 yrs since I've been there being that I am from California. I ordered 4 tacos for 2 dollars and I was so ecstatic that they still had their tacos, I also ordered a 5 piece nugget for my son and some curly fries for myself. The tacos definitely reminded me of home and brought back a lot of memories of late nights back at home in Cali. My son enjoyed his nuggets and fries, surprisingly are everything. It's amazing to me that the rest of the normal world is opened back up, yet this Jack in the Box's dine-in area remains closed. The prices here are ridiculously high for no reason at all. The service is so slow that I feel as if they start on your order when you get to the window after waiting 20 min in the drive thru. Pulled up to club, is what enters my mind when I reached the window and that made me want to drive away without my order. There seems to be no dress code in existence there. The associate that helped me looked like she was wearing a fleece jogging suit. She reached for my card and I was taken aback, it was as if an eagle took a swipe at me. Her nails were so long I thought they were "talons". I'm sure that's not practical. The food was absolute dirt. I had curly fries mixed with regular and they tasted like grease. The chicken sandwich I ordered fell apart when picked up. I understand that the minimum wage has increased but the service has declined drastically. I encourage the average person to petition to have this place closed down especially after reading the more recent reviews. I opted for no lettuce or tomato. I also ordered curly fries, a large drink and 2 tacos. My food was stone cold when it was delivered; my Sourdough Classic Cheeseburger was a cold, dry hamburger patty slapped between 2 pieces of stale sourdough bread - NO sauce and NO cheese! Can I just say I love our neighborhood Jack in the Box! I know it's a fast food place and sadly a lot of fast food places get some bad wraps and poor ratings but I have to just give major kudos to this establishment! Every time I come here (usually for a little breakfast after church) we have the best service. Sure some days it takes a little longer then others but the staff is what makes this a place that I keep coming back too.
