One of the managers at this location is horrendous. Absolutely terrible customer service, refused to give his name and store location number so we could file a complaint. I would normally say training is needed but I would have fired my employee if they behaved the way he did with us. Had to call the seaside location to get THIS store number. Still waiting to hear from corporate regarding this issue. Too bad, this was our go to now that we're local, closest fast food from Where we live in Carmel and would buy extra for the homeless on the streets from here. read more

I ordered a combo #2 at the cashier and waited. Attempt 1: I was refilling my drink when I heard my number called. I was half way to the pick-up counter and some black guy walked up to the counter, took my bag, said "thanks", and took off like a bandit. I looked at the black guy exit through the door and briskly walk down the street. I thought to myself it was probably better if I didn't go chase down the guy in the middle of the night in a town I don't know just for some food that the girl at the counter mistakenly "handed" it to the wrong person. Not my problem. So I presented her my receipt and told her she gave it to the wrong person. She called over the manager and he told me they'll make me a new order. Attempt 2: My order is remade after a couple of minutes but I looked in the bag and the curly fries I ordered wasn't in there. I told the same girl and she let out a heavy sigh, called her manager, and he gave the approval to switch out the normal fries for curly fries. But, it would take a few more minutes since they just polished off their last batch. Attempt 3: I get the curly fries and opened the burger carton to make sure there was no mayo on the bun. Yup, you guessed it, mayo galore! But at this point I was tired after waiting around 15 minutes for 1 order so I said "fuck it" and convinced myself that a little mayo wouldn't hurt me since I'm already eating red meat, soda, and deep fried potatoes. It only takes once. I went through the drive thru, and the store manager PICKED HIS NOSE, and then wiped it on his vest while putting my order together. I tried to complain, but nobody cared. Went through the drive thru at 1pm. The line was wrapped around and backed up all the way to the street. I believe it would've been faster if i had parked, walked in, ordered, sat down, ate, then left. Still would've been faster then the line i was in. I see I'm not the only one that had horrible customer service. The menu they have right before the speaker and on the speaker are very different. The menu on the speaker didn't have the midnight munchies. I asked if he can tell me what was on the midnight munchies because I don't see it on your menu. The young male I believe latino decent 18-22 years old employee told me I don't know what is on that menu you have to go back and tell me. In order for him to take my order there are buttons for him to look at where he can tell me what they have on the midnight munchies. I asked him at the window if you work here how come you couldn't read what you have. Uh I dunno you have to tell me. Very lazy! The shift leader on Friday June 7th at 11 o'clock at night was the rudest lady I've ever dealt with in a fast food chain. I think her name was gabby. She should not hold a managing position nor and shift leading spot by the way she talks to customers and treats them. As I was order I could tell she had a bad attitude and when my family and I reached the window my son wanted to add mini churro. When I asked if they could do that for us, she sighed and said, "I guess, but you can wait in the front and I dont care how long it is going to take. That's what happens when you try to add stuff at the window." Followed by a laugh. Almost like a HAHA that's what you get.I will never come back to this Jack In the box due to her. This is about the only fast food I eat anymore, and that is only this store, not the Seaside store. The place is clean, the staff courteous, and they make a good hamburger. I don't require more than that from a fast food place, and it is pathetic the number of businesses that can't do that or anything close to it. And it's inexpensive, I can eat two Jumbo Jack burgers for under seven bucks, and that makes me well fed and happy. And they are consistent, day in day out which is great. I must admit that this place has been a shinning star to us many times. It's open late night, and that makes it a wonderful place. We all need to get our burger fix, but when I go here I love that I can also get breakfast any time of the day. Pancakes for lunch? Yeah, they do that. I love to get the ultimate croissant, it's my favorite. But lately I have tried the breakfast platter that they have. It's amazing. A little bit of everything you need for a good breakfast, anytime of the day. I also love that the pancakes aren't full sized so I can dip them in the syrup on the go. But my real indulgence is the mini churros. I have never received a batch of them that was not piping hot, which is saying something for a fast food joint. I think the only down side this place has is that they are small on the inside and there isn't much seating. Plus, some people find it hard to get out in traffic. read more

Had the worst customer service today. While I do appreciate the essential workers during this time there is no excuse for how I was treated. I ordered through the drive-thru and went inside to use the restroom. A sigh on the door indicated that the restrooms required a key and it needed to be obtained from an employee. I walked over to the empty counter and waited while two employees finished talking to each other. I asked for the key and the person I assume was the manager merely shook his head no and walked away. No explanation or apology. I assumed it was due to Covid, but to be dismissed in such a rude manner is unacceptable. I will never go there again. read more

I didn't even eat here. I ordered and then a woman comes in asking to speak to the manager. She opens up her box and inside is a glove with her sandwich. A FUCKING GLOVE! Horrible experience there. I am filing an official complain about the ladies there with Jack in the Box. Ladies there was beyond rude and racist. My Mom was ordering with me. She asked me if they had soup like Subway does. I told her that I did not think so, but I could ask for her. When I asked the lady, she started to laugh. Then she turned around said something in Spanish about soup. They broke out laugh. Then she continually talking about soup, they laughed again and again. Not sure if it was because we're gay or just plain bad service, but we won't be coming here again. My girlfriend and I ordered onion rings, jalapeño poppers, and curly fries. The guy taking our order was nice enough. i went to the bathroom while she waited for our food. when i got back, she had gotten our food, but said that she was only given one ranch packet and wasn't sure if it would be enough. She said that the guy behind the counter told her that she could come back if she wanted more sauce. So I went back up to the counter and asked for one or two more packets of ranch. the (new person) guy behind the counter was very nice and asked one of the employees near him to hand him some ranch. The man that he asked looked me up and down with disgust and said "i already gave her two. do you /really/ need another?" First of all, he didn't already give ME anything. It was my girlfriend who he talked to. Second, it was so rude. The way he looked at me made me feel terrible. I said "I think we only got one. Could i just get one more?" then he said "If you want any more sauce, you're going to have to pay." and then he turned around, ending the exchange. Let me say that had he not been so rude about it, i would have had no problem paying for extra sauce. But this guy just seemed like he hated my guts for no reason and wanted me to feel stupid, fat, or terrible. TLDR: Food was good, but terrible and possibly homophobic service. read more

Great place for an after work snack! If you're fortunate enough to get a young guy named G(J?)ordon at the window, he's quick, polite, and even asks how my day went on multiple occasions. He's never gotten an order wrong and is multi-tasking the entire time with customers behind in the drive thru. Seems like a young kid who cares and takes pride in his job. Wish there were more people like that in fast food, especially at the big chains around here. Also, there are far fewer bums that hang around unlike McDonald's down the road. read more

The girl taking the order has no language barrier issues yet TOTALLY messed up my order; which only consisted of two items. I ordered a large ice pumpkin spice coffee and a breakfast jack.
