If I could leave a 0 I would. Me and my husband come often to this jack in particular because of how close it is. Today is the first time ever someone tried charging us for grilled onion. It's not our fault your guys app doesn't give the option to request grilled onion or sub to grilled onion. I know it's not employees fault either, but you being told your app didn't let me request grilled onion one would think the employee would be like oh sure thing. First time ever someone there dared charge us for grilled onion. Since when is grilled onion a price change from raw onion? You aren't growing grilled onions differently correct and the same grease that the burgers cook with is the same one that I'm sure is used for the onions you aren't wasting resources. Whoever the blonde lady with the red shirt working today around 1:30-2pm named Alma (is what we were told is her name) seriously needs to stop acting as if this damn "upcharge" comes out of her pocket or check. I literally told her too before even saying I'll pay for it if needed that we come all the time and always ask whoever is working front if we can swap to grilled onion and it's never an issue. They always say sure and just let the cooks know and there, but Alma must be getting these grilled onions taken off her check or something. Goes and says "yeah we charge for it there's a button" when I told her I'm hearing you and not saying you aren't speaking the truth but me being the customer I'm letting you know that everyone here other than yourself ALWAYS gives us grilled onion no hesitation and definitely no extra charge for doing so. This is by far the worst service experience I've ever had at any Jack in the box location, this lady "Lucy" (if that is her real name) was extremely rude, she even shut the drive thru window when I was still speaking. I am sure there are standards in place, like, repeating the order or ask questions if the guests needs any creamer or sugar with the coffe, she did not follow any of that, instead she gave me a bunch of stuff i didn't want. I've noticed a decline in the quality of the food here lately. Today, I ordered a Jack's Spicy Chicken sandwich and what I got was a chicken tender on a bun. To top it off, the chicken strip was way overcooked and I could barely bite through the breading on the ends. Was pleasantly surprised with this Jack in the box considering their bad reviews....it's a Jack in the box guys...hot food, fast, correct order. Cant ask for much more. They aren't chefs they make what they're given to work with. Everything was cooked well not over done. We spent $10 total for both of us to eat at that. Came in today cuz I was heading home from work and was so hungry. This jack in the box is very small and cozy, not too thrilled with the parking lot but the inside is clean, so that's something. Ordered a sourdough chicken club (minus bacon & sauce) with curly fries. The lady behind the register was very friendly. The wait for my food wasn't long. My sourdough club came out perfect and tasted so good. The only thing that sucked was my "curly" fries. There were two pieces that were actually curly and the rest were just bits and pieces that obviously came from the bottom of the fryer...gross. But I don't typically eat French fries what with my sorta diet so I didn't let this get to me that much, although it would have been nice to have some really good fresh fries since I so rarely eat them :p Would probably return when the mood strikes, it's a decent jack in the box and convenient. read more

Fast forward to Thursday the 18th of November, 2021 and I check in to the hospital because I just couldn't take it anymore turns out I developed gastroenteritis.
