The young lady that is the acting manager in an area of pocatello that has a lot of customers was unprofessional snooty snotty and rude my boyfriend and I only live 3 blocks from this jack in the box and spend a lot of money in this store only to be treated so badly by this young lady that really needs to be trained in how to treat a hard working person that pays her wages we will never again eat at this place of business and we will let everyone I know how badly they treat customers my boyfriend was going to get some dinner and he was doing a job down the street from there and decided to run in there to use bathroom and then get dinner but because of the way she refused to let him in the bathroom he decided to not get dinner that is ridiculous. read more

I went to jack in the box because I was starving after my hair appointment and I forgot to eat breakfast. Ordering and going through the drive through I had the best customer service from Aly. She was very sweet and quick with my order even while still personally engaging with me about my personal life. I would drive across town instead of going to the one over by me in Chubbuck just to see her again! I love jack in the box but usually have a bad experience but this was the best experience I had I just had to write a review! I'm not saying I drove almost three hours to eat some Jack in the Box tacos, because that would be ridiculous. What is ridiculous is the low rating on this joint. It's a Jack in the Box people. It's supposed to be like this. It wasn't exactly super clean. Same menu. Same decor. The employees were nice enough. Catch them on a bad day and it's probably game time. We just ordered our tacos and enjoyed what we knew to be true. Every JintheB serves the same great tacos. So I'm sure there are some strange small town reviews hating on this place, but take it from a typical out of town toolbag,I thought this was on par with any other Box I've been to. Poor customer service. Not only did they make a big deal of giving me my receipt because they were out of paper but when they messed up on my order and I literally took it straight back they demanded a receipt before helping me, when furnishing my receipt I got nothing but attitude from the child behind the counter who stomped off saying saying she has a complaint. When the sourdough jacks come out lukewarm, I just have to give you a less than great review. We come to this jacks every time we come to Pocatello. The service is alright but they seem to make a big deal of buttermilk sauce and the food is always alright. Not super great as expected especially when we don't have access to jacks locally in Utah. Don't go here. We were traveling and needed food. Had our dog in the car. Went in to use the restroom, tag team style then planned to go through the drive through and we told the bathroom was for paying customers only, even though we were going to be paying customers. When we asked for fry sauce, they gave us a whopping TWO! Real people need more than that for their food. When I got into the "fry sauce" it wasn't even fry sauce, it had mustard in it which is disgusting! They also charged extra for each dipping sauce. Way to nickel and dime people. Being a first time customer, I was less than impressed with the way their customer service was. The food was hot, but the fries tasted mediocre at best. And the burgers reminded me of my cardboard tasting school lunch burgers Which is extremely disappointing, because I've heard great things about Jack in the Box. Spend your money elsewhere. It was definitely not worth the $20 we spent for 2 people. We could have gotten the 2 for $20 at Applebee's and been happier. Or gone to McDonald's, spent less and been happier as well. I've come in here before close and the night crew is usually really nice. This is the first time that I have came in during the day and I am not impressed at all. Two female employees were bad mouthing customers at the counter where customers could hear. I work at a food establishment as well so I understand the need to rant sometimes, but you probably shouldn't be doing it in front of the customers. One of those women took my order and you could tell that she doesn't want to be here. I understand having a bad day because it happens, but you can at least try to fake it. Another problem I had was that my little brother stood at the counter for at least 5 minutes and one of the female employees directly looked at him multiple times while walking past him. She didn't bother to help him or anything. He needed to go to the bathroom and since they have to buzz him in so he could go potty, he ended up having an accident. Again I understand being busy, but she stood at the front for a good minute, looked at him, and walked away MULTIPLE TIMES. Luckily a nice gentleman saw him and asked him if he needed anything, but by then he already had an accident in his pants. Also it would be pretty damn great if this place had a changing table so that I didn't have to change my daughter on the cold dirty ass floor. Also just a note to the managers..your staff will probably understand and actually enjoy working here if you talk to them instead of yelling and barking orders at them for everyone in the lobby to hear. My wife just went through the drive through and ordered a breakfast meal with orange juice. When she finally arrived at the window, she was handed just a sandwich. She asked about the orange juice and they started arguing with her stating she did not order a meal or orange juice. I know what she ordered, I was on the phone with her and heard it all. Worst service I've ever had at a Jack in the Box. The manager was extremely rude, ignoring us and constantly berating her staff. Honestly I wanted to smack her for the way she treated them. To the guy in the back frantically trying to make orders, I give you a big hug. Our food was standard as to any Jack in the Box, aside from my chicken being a bit burnt. Went here for 2 reasons. We like jacks and we had coupons. We went to order and told them we had a coupon. We were asked to drive forward to the second window as they don't take most coupons. So we did. He went to check on the coupon and we were then told that it Doesn't match the coupons in the book so he wouldn't honor it. My husband said we would just go to McDonald's the. We only went through the drive they but it was very easily accessible and had plenty of room for cars to line up at. It was decent to find and easy to navigate out of. Food was awesome! Probably the best Jack In The Box I've ever eaten at. The wait was reasonable and the food was HOT. I enjoyed a Caramel Iced Coffee and now I am craving them. Busted them for false advertising. being a field service tech takes me all over Bannock county so my lunches are drive thru like Jack in the Box on south 4th and Pocatello Creek rd. today I went to the s 4th branch to get 1 of my 3 favorites value menu items , the `jr bacon cheese burger` since funds were low for the week I went for the lowest of (Chicken sandwich , chicken nuggets, jr bacon cheese burger). now the drive thru menu states as it always has that the `jr bacon cheese burger` is priced 1.19 as it has been for many years. but when I get to the first window the manager says it's 1.99 . I stated no you are advertising it for 1.19 on the drive thru menu as its always been for many years. she says no we changed our prices last nite. although they may have changed there prices they didn't change there drive thru menu prices which then by law they must support the advertised price. she again says no we changed our prices last nite which is very suspicious since every other Jack in the Box or other fast food joint will change there menu prices at the same time due to yea you can get in trouble for false advertising . my only conclusion is she was stealing from the company by using that statement `We changed our prices last nite` and pocketing the difference. Either way this store manager has lied to the public (probably stealing from the public) and permanently lost my future business for all Jack in the Box's. read more

I was unaware that the employees and management here have a problem with customers ordering food at their business. My husband and I are on the induction phase of Atkins ONLY for two weeks, and we like to go there and order hamburger patties for lunch because it's one of the only things we can eat on induction. I went there today to order lunch for my husband and I (a total of 9 patties with mustard), and after I placed my order, I stood by the counter and waited for my food. Mind you the lobby was busy, but everyone there had already ordered and gotten their food except me, and the drive through had a total of two cars in it when I went inside. They weren't THAT busy. As I stood there, I heard multiple people (cooks, employees, etc) ask about my order. The cashier (who was really nice about the whole thing.... her name was Tara) explained it to someone who asked about it. I didn't mind waiting for the patties to cook because I understood they might not have them all ready at one time. Then, an employee, (I'm assuming some kind of manager, since she was wearing a grey shirt, which was different from the other employees' attire. Short, blonde hair up in a pony tail or bun, glasses.....) came up and asked one of the cooks what was taking so long. The cook replied, "We're waiting on meat". She responds, "What do you mean you're waiting on meat?" The cook points at the display above with my order on it and loudly says "Look at that order. THAT's why we're short on meat." I'm literally feet away and can hear everything that's being said. The manager then rolls her eyes and starts to let out a long, sarcastic "GREEEAAAAT", when she turns around and SURPRISE, notices ME standing there watching her. She immediately shut up and turned her back to me, and then walked off. I wasn't too happy.... I received my food (minus forks required to actually eat it) and left. I would have complained, but all of a sudden no one was around except for the cashier. I wasn't going to yell at her about this. My husband wasn't too thrilled about my experience either. He called to complain and unfortunately spoke with the cashier, Tara. It wasn't her fault and she did nothing wrong. But all that was said was that "we'll talk to the employees because that's NOT acceptable." Great.... I'm sure those who actually said something rude are sorry. Sorry they got caught. Here's an idea. Next time your employees and managers decide to trash talk a customer and complain about what they order, how about you wait until they are out of earshot, hmmm? read more
