I went in right before closing lastnight to order a take out. I didn't realize it was about closing time. The amazing staff still took my order and were so nice about it. There was a new girl working and it took about 30 mins to make two pizzas and a salad. They were out of chicken. The person working with her was rude to her and unhelpful to her. This is is one of the best pizza places I've ever been. The best part is you pay for the size of the pizza then put any toppings you want on it. You can buy one of their standard pizzas. My brother got a standard meat lovers then added mushrooms Green peppers and onions and olives as well. No extra charge for extra toppings. We'll definitely be stopping again. read more

I ordered a custom veggie pizza. I got my pizza to go. When I got home I noticed my pizza was covered with either caraway or fennel seeds. I have no idea why these seeds were on my pizza. I unfortunately can't stand the flavor of these seeds so I had to painstakingly pick them off one by one. Pocatello was in desperate need of a MOD Pizza & I've been waiting patiently for it to open. I love the idea of a quality build-your-own pizza that is ready in minutes. Tonight, I went for pizzas on the MOD menu and they were mostly delicious! I was a big fan the the "Ruthie" and thought the addition of Mike's Hot Honey at the end was a sweet and spicy touch. The Calexio was really good, but not my favorite because Gorgonzola isn't my thing. The Dillon James was basically a magherita Pizza and was yummy! Service was friendly and enthusiastic. Overall, I give MOD Pizza 4 stars because tables were messy and staff seemed a little jumbled. But I can't wait to give them a few weeks to get the hang of things. I usually find ModPizza a very friendly and welcoming place, but was much disappointed with the staff at this location. I stood in line for a full five minutes at least while the one server kept taking online orders (some of which must have come after I arrived), without acknowledging I was there and waiting. This was the worst experience I've had with any food establishment. It was busy for Wednesday night, but I was first at the counter and still had to wait 20 minutes for a staff member to say anything. I then had to wait over 35 minutes for them to bake my pizzas. When my name was called, I got up to grab them to find out that they lost one of my pizzas. The staff member said if I wanted a pizza, I would have to get back in line and wait to order again, and there were over 10 people in line. MOD Pizza is a fast fired pizza place. An idea that works well with competent employees who actually care, but thats not the case here. I am a MOD pizza fan from California and have never seen such slow, incompetent employees. The line was 22 people deep and they still had one person making the pizzas. The cashier dude was a chatty Cathy with everyone beyond simply asking about toppings. Above all that, the trashcans are overflowing, every table in the place was dirty with refuse under them, and nobody seemed to care. They were out of regular sausage, straws, and their minds if they think I'm ever coming back here Do yourself a favor, skip this MOD Pizza and go eat anything else. Absolutely amazingly appalling behavior this evening. Now I have enjoyed mod, many times. It's quick, good, and never had an issue, though service has been declining I noticed Until today.. I tried to place an order online to pick up after work, but the online system rejected my zip code or so it said. It charged my bank account. I went in, expecting to get some dinner and there was no order and though my account was charged, there was no effort at all to make it right. No only that, I was told it wasn't their problem. The major issue for me was I was tired and hungry and this idiot manager on duty could not even find it of worth to be like - ummm okay what did you get, let's see what we can do. It also blocked my card from being used elsewhere for dinner. I was tired, didn't want to cook, wanted to come home with dinner and relax. But no. This is unacceptable. Your managers need better training. When a person clearly has a charge on their account, something went through, shouldn't need a confirmation number to get service. At least a pizza or salad until things work out. That is good customer service. I hope people see a lot of these reviews and know that the service used to be better, but is going downhill. Majorly. Learn some customer service skills. Or you will be out of business. read more

I went in to MOD the other day looking forward to getting a yummy pizza at a new place in town. I had heard the brick oven pizzas were very good and you could get any toppings you wanted. I never actually got to order. Yes it was way busy and I would have been fine with that part of waiting. What finally made me turn around and leave was the abuse of the employees working there. All I heard from I'm assuming a Manager (lady) was her yelling or screaming at the other employees and putting them down. That made me sad and mad at the same time. I have been a server for over 20 yrs and have never been treated that bad by an owner or a customer. If I had been talked to like that I would have walked out right then and there. Nobody deserves that. I hope this new pizza place can treat their employees better and make changes so they can make it here in Pocatello. I won't be coming back. read more

We went there today for lunch and the wait was about 40 minutes. The food just was delicious but we all got diarrhea so we won't be back.

It was really busy when we went there but we were able to make it through the line pretty quickly. I got the BBQ chicken pizza and a 6 inch with a salad is perfect for one person. The have great customizability options for each pizza and salad. The pizzas only take a few minutes to bake as well. Drink options include a soda machine with teas like brulee pear. Went in today excited to support the new business! After all, any reason to get pizza is a good reason. However, I was left really disappointed with MOD Pizza, both with the food and the experience. While it was bustling and loud, which is a good sign for any new place, the staff was disorganized and falling behind. Even though I came wanting specific toppings and had them written on the order sheet, I had to relay them again to each person down the line. However, that is just a minor inconvenience; the real disappointment was with the pizza itself. I found the crust to be rubbery and tasteless, not very different from the crust you would get at any Papa Murphy's. While the amount of toppings offered is generous, the pizza was bland, unfilling and unsatisfying, and incredibly expensive for what it was. read more

We probably won't come back to this location. A group of us came in and I was paying for just my kid and I. The kid behind the counter practically yelled at us how many pizzas we were ordering? I said I'm not sure since I'm just paying for 2 of us and I didn't know who all was getting pizza. Then he yells...how many in your group? I said 6. We were the only ones in line. The other employee came over and seemed to be embarrassed by the way we were being treated. I loved this place initially but over time I've noticed that the customer isn't valued. I asked for pepperoni on my pizza and they literally put 3 slices on it. Let's consider the fact that all pizzas are the same cost, do I do I still want to spend $8 for three slices of pepperoni? I felt like I was a hassle to the staff, lord forbid I ask for a pesto drizzle! The last time we went our pizzas were burned on the bottom and that felt like such a waste to me. The pizza is ok but much better if you custom make it by adding more toppings instead of using the menu selections. The toppings seem to be skimpy with the menu items. For their outside appearance, apparently they don't know how to turn on the water to maintain their landscaping. The lawn is dead and most of the trees are dead or dying.
