Good tacos, a little pricey but good. Looks like they are more known for their aguas frescas.

It was very authentic food especially when considering that the menu is only in Spanish and just…read moreone person working there spoke English. The food was a bit hit or miss. The Quessabirria looked amazing but only tasted of grease which dripped freely all over everything. The carne asada burrito was ok. The meat didn't really stand out and it only tasted of beans, lettuce and sour cream. The two things that were good were the two pork taco options. The pork carnitas had the most amazing texture I've ever been lucky to try. It was moist and crunchy from the flat top. It is definitely worth giving this meat choice a try in anything they have. The true star though was the Adobada tacos. They were amazing. There was tons of meat with so much flavor. These were the best Adobada I've ever had anywhere. I think the highs were very high but the lows were just as low. They have decent salsas but if you can't take a good bit of heat you won't be able to handle even the weakest one. Definitely worth checking out.

This Mexican place is 100% authentic! The tacos were so simple yet so flavorful. My favorite was…read morethe chorizo which has a nice char to the meat. They also have three salsa to enjoy. The habanero was nice but my favorite was the red salsa that was Smokey and hot. The menu was very simple and it was quick to order. If you do come around lunch time expect to wait a bit as it gets very busy around then.

Based on Yelp reviews I rolled the dice and came up snake eyes!…read more You order, you pay with tip (not even knowing if food/service is good or not), go sit down. Here I was, at noon, and I'm the only customer in a room that can seat +50 or more. Red flag, but I trusted an Elite Yelper who sounded off on how good the food is/was. Decided to try the basics - two tacos (one chorizo, one carnitas), a carne asada Torta, and rice/beans. The chorizo was the best of all, the pork was dry and tasteless, the Torta was on fresh bread but meat lacked flavor and only two tiny avocado slices (pieces). Rice was dry and beans were just okay. Tried using both their red and green sauces which didn't help much. As Simon of AGT would say, "Ah, sorry but this is a no for me." With five other Mexican restaurants within walking distance, I don't see how this place can stay open.

Looks completely family owned and operated. I should have gotten pictures of the menu but next time. The menu is written on a white board and full of the staples. Mexican food is the same 6 ingredients rolled, wrapped, folded, fried or layered with flour or corn tortillas and they've got the basics covered. All the meats I picked were delicious and I was very pleased that they use regular corn tortillas instead of the smaller variety that's traditionally used. I refuse to use the term street tacos because that's just white folks way of describing an authentic taco to differentiate that from a white taco commonly found in any cafeteria ever or Taco Bell for example. Pretty sure we don't put street in front of hot dogs , pretzels or snow cones etc. Anyway. This place is worth checking out. Give it a try or allow it to turn into another vape shop.

I love the diner ambience...comfortable and relaxed. The woman taking my order was very friendly…read moreand helpful. She likes Chili Relleno and affirmed my choice. It didn't take long for my food to come out and they called my number so I went to the pickup place for my food. It was very good. Tasty, not covered with cheese, and plenty of rice and beans to compliment the Chili Relleno with fresh tortillas on the side. The only reason for taking off a star was I expected it to be spicier... but maybe that is me and not the food. I like highly seasoned food. I hope to return and bring my partner for a taste of another dish they make!

The food, while presented as authentic, is easily catered to americanized taste buds. I had the…read morebreakfast burrito without potatoes. That's one thing I don't like about Mexican food breakfast burritos--to much potato, but they fixed it up, added extra egg and cheese to fill up the massive tortilla without extra charge. I got it smothered in cheese and green sauce, omgosh it was sooo tasty, and the relleno is one of the better ones in Idaho falls. Honestly, it's hard to go wrong with green chille & cheese, but some manage to. Morenitas smothers their's in a tasty red sauce. They have a wide variety of drinks, and wide selection of beers( pretty sure all bottled) the service, there was no communication gap. It was high energy, talkative, helpful, and she seemed genuinely happy to be there--nice change. They give you a buzzer to come pick up your food. They are pretty busy, and keep costs down by not running it out to your table, but the dining room is not very big, with multiple bench tables big enough to seat like 5. Anyway, grabbing the food is worth the "taste." The atmo, well not horrible, but a little tooo..shared, cafeteria like...it was ok, i could hear who was with me (she gave 5 stars) but it was bright and open .. didn't feel like a place to kick back and enjoy this great food. If I could, id have given 4.5 stars... But atmo and..oh yeah, I'm not sure if this is all day, but when i asked for coffee, which was on the menu, all they had was instant, that's just...no thanx lol, but 4 stars, with a 5 star lean?
