I ordered through the app and took advantage of an online special they were running with their tacos which I love. Arrived at the restaurant at the time noted only to have to wait over an hour for the food and to top it off, neither the gal running the drive through or the woman making the food were wearing their masks. Mind you there is a mask mandate because of all the covid cases in the area and in the state. The women at the drive through was handling peoples money and orders and then went to the line to help the other unmasked lady put my food in the bags. Needless to say, we didn't eat it. My husband is a severe asthmatic and my son has a heart murmur and we just couldn't take the chance of catching covid because of these inconsiderate employees. I reported the issue on the app and was contacted by the owner manager and he said I could go back in another time and have them remake my food. I asked if I could go to a different location because I was afraid these employees may retaliate for me reporting it and he said he would send a voucher.. he never sent anything and I've contacted him several times to let him know I hadn't received it and have gotten no response. I like Jack n the box, however I will never go to this one again. I ordered a #4 with the loaded chorizo fries with curly fries. I was waiting for our shake to be made. I decided to check my sandwich as I always get no ketchup/pickle with extra cheese any place I go . The guy swears I ordered a #3. They fixed the sandwich for me. When we got home I opened my fries to find out they were not the curly fries I ordered. I was so livid at this point it was best that I not call as I would probably say something I will regret. If u go to this one it is best to check your order before you leave. I'm not sure how you can have a whole family working a t one store the same shift even.. The entrance to the restaurant is a tad annoying as it involves driving down an extra street and then up and around, and then zig-zagging through a maze, and finally a gauntlet filled with rings of fire and alligators which matters when one is rushing into work but wants to test fate and take extreme risks the way I do. So I tried Jack in the Box for the first time despite Short Round telling me "go go go." I saw all the red in the sign and figured it'd be like Red Robin, and saw the name Jack in the sign and thought it'd be cool like Captain Jack Sparrow. But it wasn't all like cool and I was sad. I told the squawk box that I was new and trying to figure out what I wanted. I was reassured to take my time and ask if I had any questions. So that was a definite plus! But then I tried to let my eyes roam the menu and promptly got lost. The food stye seems to be this odd mix of American and fake Mexican, with an attempt of avant garde thrown in and a ton of grease seasoning on top of everything. I finally settled on the Swiss Onion Burger and curly fries and was instructed to dive headfirst off a tall cliff and snatch the food from a flying bird. No, I was told to drive up to the window. It looked like there was some sort of informal competition among the tribe as to who got to have the window seat. I was visited by three separate employees; one took my money and made change, another double checked that I wanted what I had ordered, and a third handed me my food. A fourth apparently wasn't fierce enough to challenge for the spot, as she had to hand off the oreo shake (I had hoped to get through this without mentioning the oreo shake. I don't want to become a fat person! But I make poor decisions sometimes, i.e. review: Jack in the Box). The FOOD! The curly fries were lukewarm although I won't detract because I forgot to specifically ask for "hot." The shake came with a straw that I called my spoon while the burger was... The burger was kinda... Umm.... It sucked. Big and clunky and greasy and meat that just didn't taste all that good. I was very hungry and in desperate measures so I managed to force down half, which was more than enough to cause a very upset cramping stomach for the next five hours. Five hours! So to conclude, I was definitely unpleasantly surprised by Jack in the Box's very scary approach to claiming fast food as "good food." read more

I decided to make a quick stop here because I was starving and hadn't eaten all day, and I was poor since I just dropped a ton of cash buying a new battery for my car. I have to say the food was just what I needed. Just enough grease to make me happy, the bacon wasn't overdone, and the bacon cheddar wedges were fantastic. I had the Jr Bacon Cheeseburger, cheddar wedges and a glass of water all for around $5. Really, who can ask for more? Oh, and they taste better than Mcdonalds and I left feeling more satisfied. I used to love Jack in the Box when I was a kid. Therefore, I was pretty happy when this restaurant opened. I drive by at dinner time at least once every week. Like almost any other fast food, the food itself is fine. The problem? The drive-thru takes FOREVER. I've stopped by 4 or 5 times now since it opened and I have never received food quickly. If you stop at the right spot at the window, you can see the service clock. I remember one time quite clearly. It took about 4 minutes to get from the order box to the window (there were several cars in front of me, so that wasn't a big deal). But I sat, watching that clock (and checking my car's clock to make sure I wasn't imagining anything. The clock read 12 minutes before someone cleared it, and I sat for another 3 minutes before I received my food. That's right, it took 11 minutes to make my burger, fries, and drink. Nothing complicated. Nothing special about the order. Every experience at this store has been the same. I've been asked to pull around to the side just so they could service other people while trying to make.... a burger, fries, and drink. I should have complained to their customer service line (I memorized the phone number while sitting there waiting for food), but I didn't. Now I just look longingly as I drive by, on my way to Panda Express, Burger King, or Taco Bell. All of them are just a few blocks away and all of them are FASTER. read more

Our experience was unsatisfactory. Woman at the register was so uninterested in what we were ordering that she asked twice. The lobby was filthy. All tables were dirty, floor needed to be swept. Unfortunately, Jack in the Box has disappeared from the greater Chicagoland area but when I'm out and about in other parts of the U, S and A I do my damnedest to get to a location for my fix. I usually get the same thing which is a Sourdough Jack, curly fries, two tacos and close to a half-gallon of pop. Go big or go to the gym. Does that last sentence even make sense. I dunno. Either way, this location was clean enough meaning that their wasn't any vomit all over the place which meets or exceeds my standards. And their dining room is open 24 hours. So if you stop by around 11:46p.m. and feel like sitting down inside you're more than welcome to. You may have to rub elbows with the know-it-all high school kids that tend to gather in these types of places around these times. Helpful tip: Don't order a Sourdough Jack to go and then put the bag right by the AC vent on the floor of the passenger side for around 30 minutes. This place is slow. We pulled up at 10pm. No one even acknowledged we were there so we drove up to the window and they still didn't even acknowledge we were there. We pulled into the parking lot and ordered inside. Finally we go our food at 10:35pm. That means it took 35 minutes to get our food. The food was warm not fresh. We live nearby and this isn't the first time we had slow service. There were at least 5 people working and they were saying there were understaffed. I wouldn't waste your time coming here. This was one of the worst places I've been to in a while. Service was sucky. When I showed up it took them 10 minutes before they even acknowledged we were standing there. Then, when they took our order it took them 30-45 minutes to get our food out. All I ordered was two tacos (that turned out dried and hard.) and one order of jalapeño poppers (that turned out cold.) and a strawberry milkshake. They handed us the food and i asked them where the milk shake was and the manager said, "well you wouldn't have wanted me to make that 20 minutes ago. And I kinda did cuz at least I would have had something to at least keep my stomach pain from getting too bad. There were several people during the process that waited 20 to 30 minutes to even be noticed. And she started becoming very disgustingly rude to customers. Ewww. The two 99¢ tacos were disgusting. They were greasy, old, soggy and flat. We got our money back. Our table was sticky and I watched the cashier wash the seats of the chairs and then use the same cloth to wash the tabletop. She didn't even wipe the entire surface. Gross. I ordered fried tacos, they were so stale, I ordered jalapeno poppers, they were at least not stale, I ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken was so bad I could not even take a bite without the entire piece of chicken breaking, this means this was deep fried many hours or days before....I will not be back here.
