I came in within an hour of closing to get some carry out. There were two others with me ordering as well. We were welcomed in and our orders taken. It was a short wait and we were on our way in no time. While we waited, the guys played the stop watch game on the wall. The restaurant was clean, well lit and quiet. I got the Blazing Load. The chicken has nice flavor. Very spicy, depending on what spice level. The service was great. Although the only thing holding it back from a five star is that some people might not like dry spices rather than wet ones. I just think they could maybe expand that a little more. Came here for the first time. I usually never do reviews but this place was a 10/10 I tried the #4 on the menu and it was very delicious I never had a chicken sandwich w coleslaw and Mac and cheese. Maybe it's just me, but I find their chicken very bland. Their spice is alright but it's not that spicy and when the spice does kick in, it doesn't have any flavor. The restaurant itself is clean and organized which I like! However the service takes a long time to receive your food. I've only eaten here twice now because they now offer something other than deep fried. A grilled boneless skinless chicken sandwich. It's about time! I know this because I saw it once on Facebook. It's not offered on any of their menus, their website or anywhere you look. Just a piece of advertisement in the restaurant itself. No pricing. I tried it and it wasn't bad. I did call them to confirm they had it first. The young lady who answered the phone said "Yes", you can order from the website or come in. Then she hung up on me. LOL.. We came here to eat while in town for an event. We were looking for burgers but not a drive thru place. The food was really good. I got the smash burger with the fried egg and it was delicious. My son got a smash burger also. My husband got the Nashville hot tender meal with medium sauce. The fries were good, and reminded of the wild fries you used to be able to get at Good Times. We liked them a lot, especially with their special dipping sauce. The burgers were really good, I would eat them again. Just make sure if you need well done, to ask for it when you order. Smash burgers are fresh beef and they often come cooked medium unless asked for well done meat. The chicken tenders were enormous. Each one was the size of a chicken breast that hadn't been cut in two. The dry rub was generous and added depth to the flavor. Where this chicken really shines is when dipped in the sauce. The combo of the fried chicken, coated in thick dry rub, and then dipped in wet sauce, is really good. This makes the whole experience of Nashville hot chicken. Lastly, the restaurant itself was pretty good. It was clean and well lit. Lots of seating for a quick prep style place. The chairs aren't the most comfortable, but much better than sitting in a booth. The bathrooms were very clean and easy to access. Overall, it was a good experience and I highly recommend this place if you're in Arvada. read more

I gave Bkazing Bird a 4-star rating a year ago but today I'm really stretching to give them a 3-star as opposed to a 2-star. The food continues to be very good. We had 3 orders of blazing chicken tenders, 1 blazing burrito, 1 blazing bird sandwich and 3 orders of fries. The food was very good. The service was bad - barely 1-star. The young guy working the counter had no personality and no sense of customer service. If we hadn't already ordered and paid online, we would have walked out. Finally, the food is overpriced relative to other chicken restaurants. It was $90 for our 5 entrees and 3 fries. My final complaint was after we got home and discovered they had forgotten my drink. Good food, overpriced and rotten service. Not sure I'll be back considering other restaurant options. read more

Absolutely yummy and spicy and really enjoy the amount of food that you get for the amount of money. The people working here were so nice and we really enjoyed our visit here. Great fast casual chicken restaurant. Order at the counter and pick your spice level, sides, and drinks. They do not serve alcohol here. The food came out pretty fast, though we were also the only people at the restaurant at the time. I opted for the bird-chicken sandwich and to make it spicy. It is relatively spicy, but I might try the next spice level up next time. The fried jalapeños were very good. I like the crispiness of the batter. I try to eat at every spicy food themed place I can. Clearly I'm a big fan of spicy food. Arvada/Wheat Ridge lacks a good amount of spicy food joints which is very unfortunate so I was excited to see that a spicy chicken sandwich restaurant was opening. The sandwich was not bad. It was a basic spicy chicken sandwich that can be found at most places. Nothing more, nothing less. The extra hot flavor was decently spicy. I would've given 4 stars for just the food but where I reluctantly took another star off was in the service department. I came in when it was pretty dead inside and the employees seemed more interested in hanging out with their friends than working. A couple of them were also smoking cigarettes right outside the front door. I don't mind the smoking except that it was done right by the front door. Another thing that kind of irked me but wasn't a huge deal was that the windows between the main dining area and the kitchen were blacked out for some reason. Makes me wonder why they deliberately chose the blacked out windows that can't be seen into. read more

We just moved to this area. This will definitely be our new hot wing spot! The food is awesome. We ordered wings extra crispy and they got it right! It wasn't busy, so we got in, ordered and got our food in under 15 minutes. It's worth noting that their wings are hot (we ordered medium, which is like normal hot) and their place is cold. AC keeps the restaurant nice and cold which is good when the weather is hot. Great spot close by! read more

Was in town for a short trip visiting my brother, and he insisted we try out this new spot down the street (he'd be eagerly awaiting their opening)! Of the five of us, we all ordered something different from their (somewhat small) menu. Ordering for pickup was seamless and easy online, and my brother left shortly after to go get it. He was gone for quite sometime and explained that they were super backed up with lots of folks waiting a long time for their orders. But hey, they're brand new and still ironing out the kinks, totally get it. Their Nashville hot chicken comes in the form of a sandwich, sliders, tacos, a burrito, or atop of mac n cheese. You're able to choose the spice level, from original (no heat) to blazing ("call the fire department" as they say). I went for medium heat for my chicken tacos. The large tenders were crispy, dry-rubbed with spices, and came wrapped in soft flour tortillas with slaw, jalapeños, and pickles. Oh and their signature sauce - yum. I might even up the spice level next time! Over all it was a good meal, definitely filling. I'm normally much of a fried chicken person, so I wouldn't *need* to order from here again, but if this kind of menu is your thing, you'll no doubt enjoy their offerings. read more

The food was fantastic. It is great being able to chose the spice level. I had medium and will try hot next time as it only had a little kick to it for me. The fries are very good as well. The place was clean but none of multiple employees standing around doing nothing could take the overflowing trash out. One female had three inch long finger nails, isn't that against health code? Knocked off one star since the music was WAY too loud and so where the employees. We could not hear the table of people by us speaking but the employees pretty much yelling to each other and making animal noises was ridiculous. Obvious lack of management at 2pm today. Nashville hot chicken paradise in Arvada! Not an expected location, but delicious nonetheless! They've got a great amount of space, parking and the friendliest staff in the world. I usually prefer saucy, but they've convinced me otherwise. The spice levels are pretty accurate for me. I love spicy food, but I like to find a good balance between spicy and enjoyable and their "hot" is just that. The "extra hot" was a little too much for me and their "blazing" is supposed to be the spiciest in Denver. Their comeback sauce is made in house and it delicious. I got extra on the side because it definitely had me coming back for more. Reminds me of a canes/thousand island sauce. Lemonade - Fresh squeezed and perfect to counter the heat from the chicken. The Early Bird - A breakfast chicken sandwich that's hard to beat! I love the cheese and egg with the heat. Blazing Tacos - I've never really had hot chicken tacos, but I was in love! Pro tip - you can get two different heat levels in case you wanted to try something new. Blazing MAC - The perfect level of cheesy. These bowls are DEEP and you are definitely getting your moneys worth. Blazin Fries - A ton of food. I loved the crinkle fries and the chicken is obviously delicious. Stopped in at 12 noon on a weekday, not a single customer in the store besides the two of us. The store was clean and organized, the person taking our order was pleasant and seemed competent. The prices seemed a little higher than I expected (I know everyone says that about EVERY restaurant) We ordered a chicken sandwich, "blazing fries" and an order of fried pickles, total $28. For comparison: the chicken sandwich was $8 versus a Popeyes chicken sandwich, $5. We ordered the food to go which apparently involves an extra charge for a bag, that wasn't mentioned when we ordered. It seemed like it took a long time to prep the food, especially when we were the only customers. I was given a receipt that included my order number but no prices. The chicken sandwich tasted good, I had to check the menu again to identify what was to be included on the sandwich because it seemed like the slaw was missing. The fried pickles were a bit limp and the portion was small, the Blazing Fries were the highlight of the purchase, fair portion and decent flavor. Both of us were about half way through the meal and agreed the food was "okay" but we probably wouldn't be returning. read more
