We checked out this new restaurant for New Year's Eve last night and it was beautifully decorated,…read moresuper romantic. Everything about it was gorgeous. It reminded me of a restaurant that should be in Rittenhouse Square or the like. The menu was extensive and high-end. It would've been nice if they had offered bread at the start though which they didn't. We had the tuna tartare appetizer. It was delicious and very filling. My boyfriend got the lobster mac and cheese, which was absolutely delicious. However, there wasn't much lobster. The side salads were good. I ordered lamb which I should have asked questions because I was expecting a rack of lamb and what I got was a stewed hunk of lamb on a bone next to a mushy pile of polenta covered in what looks like marinara sauce I wanted to give a four star review for this because that's not something I would've enjoyed eating and I sent it back however somebody else might've liked it very much. In fact, I think the people sitting across from us ate every last scrap of that same dish off their plate, however, I wouldn't have liked it at all. I wish I had ordered one of their steak options, which sounded delicious. I shared some of the lobster mac & cheese, and ate a lot of the appetizer so I didn't end up ordering another entrée. We would definitely go back. I just have to read them many more carefully and ask questions.

Ambiance is lovely--great decor, comfortable seating, a gorgeous bar, and live music. Fun cocktails and a solid wine list (though the "by the glass" options are a bit limited). Ultimately, though, I think the ambiance and service are doing the heaviest lifting here--it's a bit of a "vibe dining" spot. The food is definitely good, don't get me wrong...but it's not "wow," which was a little disappointing given that you're gonna be spending $$$$. (Most entrees are $30+ and they're pretty standard fare that's not especially inventive--steaks, a few pastas, obligatory short rib dish, elevated burgers, salmon.) We liked everything just fine but I didn't taste a dish that made me go "oh man, I gotta come back for that." Instead I'm thinking "maybe I should try something else next time I'm in." I do like that your entree comes with a salad. The physical menu itself could also use some work, as its quality doesn't match the care and luxury atmosphere of the place overall. Numerous misspellings and a lack of specificity on ingredients in several of the dishes that leave the diner unclear on what, exactly, they're getting. For example, there's an entree that's described simply as "grilled chicken breast served with rosemary potato wedges and grilled zucchini." Are there spices or sauces on that chicken? Are we talking just plain salt/pep? Herbs? What? Anyway, it's fine. It's a solid date night option. We'll be back.

Finding your way upstairs adds to the speakeasy-style charm. The reception area alone sets the vibe: playful, stylish, and full of photo-worthy moments before you even sit down. It feels like you've discovered something not everyone knows about. We went with the small plate prix fixe menu (three courses), and each dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and -- most importantly -- delicious. Every course left us wanting just a little more, which is exactly how a tasting-style experience should feel. Nothing felt rushed, and the pacing of the food was on point. Cocktails were also excellent, creative, well-balanced, and fitting for the ambiance. The only hiccup of the night was drink service being a bit slow. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but noticeable. Overall, a great Restaurant Week experience in a space that feels both intimate and fun. I'll absolutely be back to explore the full menu soon.

Little did we know that would be the continual theme as we were only given a choice of one of the 4 appetizers(one being warm olives) , two of the four entrees and ended up receiving what felt like the leftovers. It was truly a disappointing experience. Their manager let us know that because we prepaid there was nothing they could do that night. Just avoid this experience all together and perhaps find a date night somewhere you are able to spend time together rather than hangry.

I had a SmashBurger and it was perfect... the right crunch, perfect amount of cheese, and the BBQ sauce was a nice touch. Hubs had the Grind signature burger. He was also pleased but felt it was a little dry. Our friends had the Grinder w/ chicken meatballs and arrabbiata sauce, the Meatball Bowl w/ beef over squash (said the squash was the best thing ever) w/ bacon Gouda, and the Italian Melt (delicious but rich!). Four of us had fries and they are absolutely the perfect fry - pure potato taste! There was also 2 bowls of loaded baked potato soup and 2 bourbon flights for us! Everything got 2 thumbs up. We don't live nearby but we'll be back! PS... the value is there... it's priced just right!

They were a little different than standard stuffed mushrooms. The mushrooms were in a marinara sauce with mozzarella cheese covering them. They tasted excellent lots of gooey cheese. For the main meal I had the chicken Caesar wrap with French fries. My wife had the Margherita fresco flat bread. Everything was excellent you can tell they use local fresh ingredients in their food. The French fries were exceptionally good probably the best fresh cut fries I ever had. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Our waitress did an excellent job checking in on us and keeping our drinks full. The grind also offers a bourbon tasting. We didn't try a flight of bourbon but maybe next time. I will definitely be stopping back in at the grind anytime I'm in the area. If you are ever in the area I would definitely give the grind a try you won't be disappointed!

Dim lighting, big comfortable leather chairs, bookshelves lining the walls, a fully stocked bar, and historic photos throughout the space create a classic lodge vibe that feels timeless without being stuffy. It is cozy, polished, and incredibly relaxing. The staff is knowledgeable and clearly takes pride in what they serve. The craft cocktails are well made and thoughtful, and if you prefer beer, there are solid options there too. As a bourbon lover, I especially enjoyed their private barrel pick served neat, a real treat and easily a standout pour. This is a perfect pre-dinner or post-evening stop, we have done both, and it works beautifully either way. Dress is slightly casual but leans upscale, and while pricing is a bit higher than average, it feels completely worth it for the setting, quality, and experience. We sank into the chairs, talked story with friends, and lost track of time, which really says it all. If you are anywhere near Skytop Lodge, make sure this is on your list. Plan extra time, you will want to linger.

The setup is a little different from the Warrington location (same owners), and the menu has some differences too but it still gives that signature Cage vibe with the greenery, cool signage, and those iconic cage aesthetics. The GM James stopped by our table to make sure we were good. Good sense of humor. Shoutout to the staff because they really made the experience. Peyton at the host stand was super helpful getting us situated. Our server Jen was AMAZING!!! She was attentive, friendly, and honestly went above and beyond. She checked on us consistently, made sure everything was right, and even doubled as our photographer. Gabe also helped run food and was just as attentive. We started with drinks these drinks are so creatively made and the presentation is cool!!: one person had the Cyclops (very cool presentation with the bubble effect), I had a creamy espresso maestro martini (make sure you say creamy it was smooth and really good), the creamy is baileys. You will never walk alone drink make sure: cute!!! Elementary school A couple people ordered mocktails. The only downside here: the mocktails lacked flavor, but Jen made sure to address it right away. food: Korean tacos & tuna crispy rice - 9/10 some meat was chewy but the flavor was there. My taste buds were happy! Braised short rib hash - 10/10, super tender meat, great flavor (just wish there was a little more hash) my cousin enjoyed this over hers Steak & eggs with truffle fries - 10/10 Crab Benedict - real lump crab, great flavor 10/10 but they need to watch the poached egg, it was runny enough Chicken & waffles - 9/10 Shrimp jambalaya - 7/10, a bit dry, but they quickly added more sauce when we mentioned it Truffle fries with aïoli - 10/10, must-order Beignets - 10/10, "chef's kiss"- soft, sweet, and definitely worth getting We didn't go deep into dessert beyond the beignets, but those alone were a hit. Between the atmosphere, the service, and most of the food hitting, it made for a really enjoyable brunch. If you haven't been yet, go, you'll enjoy the experience.

After seating, we waited 5 mins+ to be greeted and service was slow. No fault of our waitress Paige since she was running around and working hard. Ordered the ribeye and it was tough and flavorless. The $44 steak didn't even come with a side - you need to pay $9 for a side (though menu shows $8!). I ordered the mashed potato and it was in a TINY ramekin - not a shareable side like you expect when you are charged extra. Either provide a reasonable portion or just include some basic sides with a steak order. We also ordered the tequila short rib which was a decent short rib but no tequila flavor at all. Mushroom risotto was good. The ambiance was great - it's a beautfiul restaurant and it has a great vibe. Overall ***

There's some small intimate areas, as well as a main bar, a side seating bar area, and a back area with tables and chairs. I would recommend reservations. You can pick the bar or lounge when making reservations on their website. From the moment you enter, you will get terrific service. The host was great and we were early for our reservation, but we were seated at the bar as requested. As soon as we sat down, the bartender greeted us with waters and a sample of a bourbon punch. The entire visit was filled with very attentive staff who were always friendly and knowledgeable about the offerings on the menu. The drinks are well thought out and very good. The quality of the ingredients, as well as the flavor profiles work well. It is very difficult to pick from their crafty menu. We tried a total of 4 drinks and all were delicious. Highly recommend the Papucho - such an excellent mix of flavors that are well balanced and a very unique flavor. Honestly, not sure you will find one drink on this menu that isn't delicious. They do offer a menu of various foods. We ordered the octopus and the roasted monk fish. Both were fantastic. The servings are not big so be prepared to order dental dishes or just come with the intention of not getting a massive meal. They are good portions for a small dinner or think tapas. Overall, they have a fabulous experience with some super delicious drinks. Well done!

Our server was amazing (I wish I remembered his name!), the food was delicious, and the drinks never fail to impress. The only issue we have every time we go is that they unfortunately always run out of a few dishes on the menu (and always seems to be the ones we want)! In addition, calling the restaurant has been difficult, it has often gone straight to voicemail for me. For that reason make sure to make reservations ONLINE (that has never failed). Come EARLY if you want to ensure you'll get a menu item (we often get there around 8 pm or later, some menu items always run out for us). Regardless, this doesn't stop us from coming!
