Usually anchovies are mashed into the dressing, and not left whole on top of the salad. This one came with way too many whole anchovies on top. It's not something I would order again. The excellent: my dining partner had the Miso Striped Bass entrée. He loved it. The glaze on the fish was delicious and the striped bass was cooked perfectly. His side of charred broccolini, or broccoli rabe, not sure which, had a wonderful wasabi sauce on it. He absolutely adored the dish and would get it again. The poor: I had the Hot Honey Salmon. It came with charred brussels sprouts that were undercooked, and the inside was not cooked enough. Same with the salmon. It was raw in the middle. I told the waiter and asked that both be cooked a little more. They chose to bring me another piece of salmon. While the edges were cooked more, again the middle of the salmon was raw. Not underdone. Raw. Twice. Brussels sprouts came back and were better. There were a lot of good menu choices, and I would go back again to try something else. Ill be honest. I had my doubts. Our client chose the restaurant and I messaged them via IG w/o a response about vegan items. I ended up calling and the experience wasn't much better. I worked with my client's liaison to confirm that the portabello mushroom and the fingerling potatoes were vegan. I brought my vegan ranch and habanero sauce as condiments. The real story here is Theo, Jen, and Bella. With it being the MLB All-Star Game today and locally, these three were the All-Stars of the Cage. Theo was so nice and was stationed as the bartender for our group. He was so nice and accommodating. Glad I told him to get a tip jar going. lol Jen and with Bella assisting handled a group of 35. No easy feat. They did it was grace and urgency. The three course meals were exceptional and timing was punctual. Heard so much about this place and read all the positive reviews so wanted to try it out with 3 of my friends. While it was good, I don't think it lived up to the hype. I had the grilled octopus appetizer and it was good but really over done with sauce to the point that it literally was dripping on the table after slicing the tentacles. The octopus was grilled right and not too chewy. I chose the salmon bowl and specifically requested that the salmon be left very rare since most restaurants have the tendency to over cook salmon and it's tasteless and dry. The server acknowledged that it could be cooked very rare almost raw, like sashimi, which was my preference. Unfortunately as you can see in the picture, the very dry and seemed to compensate for the lack of flavor by saturating the top with the honey glaze. The portion of roasted brussel sprouts was good but small and the quinoa was better. My partners also didn't feel like there was anything special about their meals. My friends and I are visiting from California and I saw this restaurant had really good reviews. It was Mother's Day and I was surprised we were able to get a reservation from OpenTable. There was gonna be just two of us, but a third friend decided to show up last minute and they made accommodations for the three of us. The staff is very friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Love the new spot that opened up. As with all their locations, the decor is over top and created to wow. You'll definitely leave here with a whole bunch of Instagram worthy pics. One of the best experiences I've had. First of all. The restaurant has a really great vibe. The ambiance makes you feel like you are in a Greek rooftop restaurant! She made great suggestions, and even knew a decent amount about the Greek heritage of the owners and explained how most of the awesome cocktails were concocted in Greece! The pergola was nice a quiet, nice bit of light, without the sun in my face. We were brought our appetizer which was a feta plate that tasted like authentic feta, (once you've had the real stuff the American version kinda sucks). The Greek myth drinks were just so cool and the menu included myth notes about the drinks that gave the drinks more awe to them. Our entrees we both went with pasta dish's and Jesus #%^*ing Christ were they delicious!!! We had a few more myth inspired drinks and even got freddo with our dessert! This brunch experience was fantastic! I drove an hour to meet my best friend for brunch on a Sunday morning. I arrived to find the parking lot packed! Our server greeted us immediately and took our drink order. I got a specialty cocktail and my friend got an espresso martini. We also put in an order of beignets. The beignets arrived before our cocktails and while they were not your typical authentic beignet, they were flakey and warm and had almost a croissant like texture. For our entrees we decided to each order something different and share. I did the brunch burger and my bestie did the crab cake Benedict. We both agreed we could not decide which we liked better. The burger was juicy and flavorful with the most delicious fried avocado and crispy maple bacon. The truffle fries were similar to fries I've had elsewhere but the garlic aioli took them to another level. There was a moment that I ended up mentioning something to our waitress that we were noticing after I made that comment the waitress seemed to avoid our table. I'm currently waiting to see if there's a way to contact the business directly. That's not a phone number versus an email to explain our situation. I don't think it's fair to put it here just yet. I believe in reaching out to management first to resolve it there. Problem I have is that there is no email on the site that I can see. I will update my review accordingly if I do or don't hear back. A major plus is being able to make reservations. A negative for myself: with this being a cocktail bar ect I'd love for some more mocktails. I was visiting Norristown for a week - stopped in for happy hour Monday night and went back Tuesday and Thursday! It was truly because the staff was wonderful and the vibe was fantastic. I had their espresso martini and some of their house wines. I really enjoyed their strawberry soda with sweet vermouth drink (soda made in house!!) order a side of their house made focaccia which was tasty!
