She asked me many times to send documents and papers that I had already given her. She called me multiple times a day to ask for said documents, and when I told her that she already had them, she either didn't believe me or ignored me. Additionally, she implied that I had faked my own reference letters, and was incredibly rude to me on many occasions. She was the worst realtor I've ever had the misfortune of working with, and couldn't do anything to help me rent an apartment, despite the mounds of qualifications and paperwork I gave her. No matter what gorgeous apartment she shows you, DO NOT WORK WITH HER. She is incredibly unprofessional, rude, disorganized, and has given me so many headaches over the past month.

Clearly, owner and management don't care about us, they care only about their dollars. People are not wearing masks who live here and no one is making this mandatory. The super of the building who helps owners is awesome but he cannot help us renters. Wish he could because he cares!! (Skander). A shame that Dvora manages renters in such a piss poor way. My intercom has never come to our apt because the "wires seem switched". They laugh and no one fixes. I don't get calls I need and get calls that don't pertain to us. Months now waiting for AC to be fixed. No less rent to be paid ($7,000) or any help. It's totally a scam. The owner doesn't give a hoot either, as I have requested w Kim Duda for them to call us for weeks now. No call. They just keep taking out On-time, excessive rent each month. Piss poor management. Period. Waaaaaay too much money to pay for BS like this. Last place I lived (Soho Lofts) the maintenance people were proactive. They replaced light bulbs, cleaned dryer vents, AC filters etc. Here---it's as if I'm in a project managed by HUD. Sorry Kim, but someone should be making sure tenants are delighted. Not suffering. And..... we texted the guy who rented it to us, Dennis, for months....no reply. None. What the heck people?????

I listed and sold a home with Gateway Realtors in Hasbrouck Heights, and must say that it was the…read moreworst sales experience I have ever had. I have bought and sold several homes using a realtor, so I am very familiar with the process. I listed the home with Eddie Norman Narvaez, a new agent that moved here from Florida. He has to be the laziest agent in the industry. I was promised an open house, and never had one. I had repeatedly asked Eddie to schedule the open house, but he was reluctant. It is my belief that he did not want another agent to sell the house, and that he wanted to keep the entire transaction in his office. This had severely limited the amount of exposure we received for the property. Communications with Eddie has been very poor as well. He would not return email, phone calls or text messages. I would send him very specific questions, but would never receive a response. On the very rare occasion that he would respond, I would receive a canned response that I need to speak with my attorney, even though it was Eddie's job to follow up on the issues at hand. Due to the limited property showings that we did have, we only received one offer, which was from one of his clients. It was at this point that I contacted the agency's owner, Mary Ellen Courtney. I expressed my concerns to her in regards to Eddie's lack of response, not having an open house, and Eddie referring me to my attorney for questions he should have been handling. Mary Ellen stated that she would speak with Eddie, but nothing changed. Mary Ellen seemed to be inconvenienced with my concerns, even though she's the owner of the office. Once we accepted the offer, Eddie was non-existent. He dropped the ball on following up with the client regarding the mortgage, home inspection, town CO inspection, homeowners insurance, etc. Every time I had asked Eddie about the status of these items, he referred me to my attorney. He refused to make any contact with his client to move the sale along. He has the idea that once the listing is taken, that his job is over. He has no concept of how to handle a real estate transaction, and should not be working in this field. Eddie never mentioned to us that the buyer's mortgage fell through. The mortgage commitment date had passed by for two weeks, and Eddie never thought to mention this to me. I became very concerned at this point and requested that the house still be shown, as the buyer was having a problem obtaining a mortgage. My email and phone calls to both Eddie and Mary Ellen went unanswered. After at least a week, I finally spoke with Mary Ellen over the phone, and she so rudely told me that I was bothering her, and that she was spending time with her family! This is her business, but she does not want to speak with her customers? Eddie never informed the buyers that they needed to schedule a home inspection, or start the homeowners insurance process to get the necessary paperwork for the closing. He also did not set up the CO inspection, so I had to pay an extra $100 to get a last minute CO inspection from the town, since it was requested within three days of the closing. Again, I brought my concerns to Mary Ellen, but she did not want to get involved. She mentioned that when she hired Eddie, he seemed like a nice guy, and seemed like he knew what he was doing. But yet, she still did not want to get involved in the many problems that plagued this transaction. Bottom line, DO NOT trust the purchase or sale of your home with Eddie, Mary Ellen, or anyone else at Real Living Gateway Realtors in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. They are by far the worst real estate company I have ever dealt with. If you are looking for a hassle free, professional transaction, you should definitely look elsewhere. Don't be fooled by their presentations and BS. All they want is their commission, and don't want to work for it at all. A real estate purchase or sale is one of the largest transactions a person will have in their lifetime. It requires professionals that know what they are doing, and work on your behalf to ensure that it goes smoothly, and that they have your best interests in mind at all times. Be very careful when a realtor avoids having an open house, and when offers are only coming in from realtors within that office alone. Some realtors will do whatever they can to keep your listing in their office, and avoid cooperating with other agencies. If you experience similar problems with Gateway Realtors, demand that they cancel the listing contract, and file a complaint with the Board of Realtors. What they have done in my transaction is unethical, and highly unprofessional. Avoid this agency and look elsewhere. You'll be glad you did!

Having said that, don't break the rules (no pets), they don't mess around! The apartments are clean and the appliances basic but up to date. The building amenities (elevator, washer/dryers) are maintained in good order and management is responsive to getting them fixed.

They worked tirelessly to rid the building a very minor roach problem and we haven't had any issues in a year now. The super is AMAZING tony is SO helpful. I can't gush enough about how much I've enjoyed living in this building. If you're looking at apartments, see if they have an opening in one of their buildings. Side note, their broker, Ira, Falsely advertises ALL THE TIME he dose charge a fee and there are NO pets at all aloud in any of their buildings no matter what Ira posts online he's full of shit just be aware and he'll say his ads are not his responsibility. So outside of having to go through him to get to an apartment, the building is wonderful :)

Tribeca Park on Chambers Street has been one of those fixtures in the Battery Park area that you…read morecan't help but learn to love over time. I've been visiting a good friend of mine for the last twenty years here, and I seriously doubt that he is going to leave anytime soon due to the building's location and how reasonable he was in obtaining his lease at the right time. The building is pretty much right on the Hudson River and adjacent to a park, and is within four blocks from the #2 & 3 subway trains (Chambers Street stop). The building is also within reasonable walking distance of the Freedom Tower & 911 Memorial Museum. For visitors, it is highly recommended that you park in the underground valet lot for $25 (all day price), or risk being towed if you park on the sidewalk. The latter mention can get especially risky on the days that the street sweepers come by. Save yourself the $500 towing & impound expense, and just park underground. Guests also have to check-in with the doorman up front. These doorman area actually pretty good. Two of them have been here since I starting coming here at the end of my college tenure, and instantly recognized me. That's pretty good, considering that they seem to know their residents & non-residents. Should you need to wait, there is a small atrium by the elevators + a computer room, yet beware of the those Wall Street entitled-types that say that they need the room for an impromptu meeting with their folks, knowing damn well that they didn't reserve it in advance. Anyway, back to the review. Depending on which side of the building that you are on, the window views are actually pretty good. You are either going to see buildings taller than Tribeca Park, or the Hudson River. The units are pretty standard: between 500-800 square feet, yet I've only seen two units in twenty years. There appears to be a small laundry facility on each floor, yet its the size of any that you'll find in a hotel/motel. On the top floor, there is an interior lounge for residents, yet there is also an outdoor area that is truly exceptional. Several tables, cabanas, grill areas that give residents & guests remarkable comforts, in addition to fantastic views of the city. Just don't get too close to the railing- remember, you are 20 floors up! There is a small coffee-deli shop across the street for those that want a quick bite, yet you'll have to walk a couple of blocks up if you want real food. This isn't the lower east side, where restaurants, pubs and coffee shops are a dime-a-dozen. If I had to work in Manhattan & if lease rates were within my budget, I would seriously consider living here.

The facilities and amenities are awesome. The roof deck has been under construction for a good chunk of time that we have been here but the building is so good at updates to that and when it will be reopened that I haven't felt bad about it. The staff here are the best I have ever encountered! Door men are super friendly and always so good with my young son when we pass through. Maintenance staff is hands down the best I have ever dealt with. We moved in and had an ac unit that would leak. They tried two times (both within hours of us letting them know) to fix it. When it didn't work the 2nd time they just showed up with another unit that was in good working order. The apartment itself is well maintained and just great to live in. They even painted it for me with the colors I wanted before moving in. From initial contact to view an apartment through the move in process and living here it seems that the staff and management just want to make you happy living here. I have spoken to so many other residents and no one has issues here. They are owned by relatedrentals and would be confident to say any of their buildings will be just as good as this one!
