And soon came to learn a couple of things about her. 1-she was a jumper 2- she has pretty severe separation anxiety. For the first couple of months, I took her almost everywhere with me. When I couldn't take her, there were times when I had to struggle to make arrangements for her. As mentioned with the jumping and the separation anxiety, the arrangements would have to be very specific. Making sure that it was with people I could trust. Which usually meant Family because they would be the most available. Well, when there was family events, it was even harder for me to figure out what I would do with her. I knew that a very close family friend regularly uses bouquet kennels. So I spoke with her about them. She said amazing things and highly recommended. So I reached out online and let me just say they were amazing from the beginning. Incredibly receptive and Patient especially with my many questions. I was able to get Luna in for an overnight within two days of first reaching out. Of course, when I came time to drop her off, I was incredibly anxious and worried about leaving Luna. That anxiety and worry started to fade the minute I pulled up and Jessica and Kayleah came out to greet us. Within minutes, I was secure a confident in the choice to bring Luna to Bouquet kennels. I was able to go and spend an entire day out with my family and not worry once. Of course, I thought about Luna and hoped she was doing OK but I didn't have to worry at all. I knew not only was she safe and secure, but she was being loved and cared for. When I arrived the next morning to pick up Luna, I was given a wonderful report about her. And again, I must stress that I knew Luna had had a great experience. In speaking with Jessica and Kayleah I learned that bouquet kennels accepts dogs of all temperaments. I think that's wonderful. I know that all dogs have different personalities and some of them are not as easy others. And knowing that there's a place that accepts those that aren't so easy is such a relief. Every pup should have a safe place to go where they will be accepted. I cannot recommend Bouquet Kennels enough. Needless to say, I will be using them whether it's for the day, overnight, or multiple nights. It is such a gift to have a wonderful safe space for my dog. Thank you Bouquet kennels!!

When my puppy was showing early signs of resource guarding that were concerning, Maria stepped in…read moreon short notice and with one session I noticed a dramatic improvement in his demeanor and behavior around food and bones. By practicing the exercises she gave us, he now comfortably is able to chew bones and eat his food around us and other dogs without lunging or barking which is a huge relief as he will be a large dog when he is fully grown. Additionally, she helped me start to shift my relationship with my puppy which resulted in more respect and obedience from him in general. We could only do a few sessions together before moving out of state, but it is easy to see that she understands dogs and they truly respond to her guidance. We still have a ways to go with training, but with the tools and lessons Maria left us with I am much more confident that we are on the right path!

However, i want…read moreto bring up some stuff... we have a senior dog (a labrador retriever) and apparently she growls while getting her nails clipped however, the groomer never ever asked if she did better with a nail filer machine. She never mentioned or asked. Btw our dogs aren't new to grooming so we haven't had this issue of their nails being left long . So now her nails are extremely long and considering she is an elderly dog that doesnt help with arthritis or joint issues. Also, my other dog a labradoodle she had a very uneven shaved spot by her tail bone and the groomer never ever mentioned it, and you could clearly see it. I understand mistakes happen and that is truly ok, but the communication about it was not there. The last concern is regarding the sanitary trim, the anus regions always seems somewhat cleaned but all other areas like privates and tail are left very long. Im a bit sad because the place is cute, but i dont think its the best place for grooming, maybe they are new and theyll get better with time.
