My guide, Diego, made everything feel easy and relaxed and brought water and snacks to enjoy during breaks on the water. We spent around 2-3 hours on the water, so it's great for those who are at least somewhat physically fit. The guides are pretty flexible about taking breaks as needed. The tour included snorkeling in bioluminescent water (which was very fun) and they took great photos of me paddling, (included in the package). After several hours on the water, they offered freshly-made pizza and other food for a cost, which was the perfect meal after a long time on the water. The whole staff was friendly and made me feel welcome especially since I was a solo traveler. It was a great value, would highly recommend this tour to everyone!

We had a great time paddling out in our double kayak with a group of about 10 and 2 guides to Los Arcos at sunset. We paddled through a few caves, saw a blue footed boobie, and waited for darkness to set in. Once it was dark, we had the opportunity to snorkel in the water to see the bioluminescence up close. The experience was my favorite of the weeklong trip we had in Puerto Vallarta. We were surprised with hot chocolate and fruit upon the return. We had photos sent to us that were included in the price of the trip. It was extremely nice to have the shuttle to take us back to PV at no extra expense. I would highly recommend the bioluminescent paddle experience!

It was an unforgettable experience that I've checked off my bucket list. As someone who's absolutely terrified of heights--so much that I close my eyes every time--we tackled this thrilling adventure head-on! Despite my fear, I had a blast and can't wait to do it all over again. Tommie, on the other hand, was a total daredevil! He embraced every moment with his eyes wide open and a huge, radiant smile in every photo. This experience is unlike any other, and it's one you'll treasure forever. Whether you're sharing it with your best friend, your fiancé, or family, I can assure you that you'll all have an absolute blast! The price was super affordable, and the trips are tailored to fit your needs, which is so appreciated. Your admission includes an exhilarating nine ziplines weaving through the lush jungle in the stunning hills of Puerto Vallarta. Plus, they throw in free tequila tasting! I don't drink, but Tommie, a casual drinker, had a great time sampling about six or seven different varieties, and they were incredibly generous with the tastings. They even sell the tequilas right there! The guides--Jose, Jorge, Brian, and Efrain (the photographer)--are true experts who genuinely care about your safety and go above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing time. Heads up - they will mess with you. Expect them to shake the lines! Lol. The ziplining tour included a ride up the mountain, brief instruction, a restroom and restaurant stop, 9 courses of lines, and a good hike, totaling about 3.5 hours. It was worth the cost, and the experience was very pleasant, despite my fear of heights. I also appreciated the purified water bubbler and rest area at some of the stops, as it allowed us to catch our breath and hydrate. The optional photo package and cost of lunch at the end was kind of pricey though (photos: Mex $1150, lunch for 5: Mex $2553) but you are not allowed to bring your phone, so it's the only option if you want photos. I think the only improvement would be more communication about where and when to look at the camera. A lot of my shots caught me facing the other way, which was kind of a waste, having paid so much for pictures, and I feel like that could have been easily corrected with some instruction.

Funny guys and very competent in what they're doing - I also wanted to give a big shoutout to Luis, Vanessa, and Gerardo for being spectacular guides on the ATV excursion. The stop at the bar and pool were tons of fun, and the views were to die for. - The only thing I would have to say is be prepared to hike a bit on the zip line excursion, maybe a total of 15mins worth of hiking but it's all steep and uphill so keep that in mind. My email reservation confirmation stated clearly it was included- they then sent a response after we complained with a Spanish version of an email and stated our tickets didn't include the payment. They completely stated a differed response and stated they hand typed the "wrong" information into our original reservation receipt email. How is that our fault that they sent an email that clearly states our tickets didn't include included payment then collected the amount again stating we had to pay again if we wanted to go on the tour.

I would recommend this beach if you're just looking for somewhere to sunbath or relax by the beach, or if you want to visit the town or waterfall in Yelapa. The sand on the beach itself is very rough, it was so painful to walk on. The water was also super rough, the tides are strong and can pull you out so definitely wouldn't recommend this beach for anyone who can't swim. If you do want to swim here, bring water shoes, the sand and rocks are sharp. A good alternative to a nice swimming spot is to hike up to the Yelapa waterfall, takes about 30 minutes but very worth while. People on the beach will try to sell you tours there but it's very easy to get to, there are signs once you enter the town and you can ask the locals or people you see around for directions, they were really helpful in helping us find the waterfall. Overall I probably wouldn't visit this beach again, the time spent to travel there wasn't really worth it for me since I couldn't swim at the beach at all.

The main beach in Sayulita is not really peaceful and we were tired of being harassed by beach vendors all day so Playa de Los Muertos hit the spot for the day. Not as extremely quiet with no structure like Cerraritos and not crazy packed or stinky like the fishermen beach. We got chairs and umbrella for the day for 200 pesos. Cheap beers (as everywhere in there) and good service. Small area marked for swimming and a lifeguard on duty. Great views and a quaint vibe. Clean water. Although (And please don't be mad at me) I often wondered if the fact the beach is right by a cemetery doesn't mean we are swimming at a pool of corpses juice. I was once at a beach in Puerto Rico that was across from a cemetery and locals told me the rain washes away everything into the ocean so... must be the case in Playa de Los Muertos. If you like Mexican culture and appreciate their relationship with the dead, you'll love the cemetery tho. So much color and joy for those who are now gone. The beach is a short 10 minutes walk back to Sayulita "center" and definitely a cool hidden gem. We'll be back.
