Jackie Cooper BMW 14145 N Broadway Ext, Edmond, OK 73013 I have owned multiple BMWs over the years, including a newer 2026 model, so this comes from someone very familiar with both the brand and the level of service that should come with it. The sales department is exceptional--professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and consistent with what you expect from a premium dealership. Every purchase experience has been smooth and well handled. The issue--and the reason for this review--is the phone and service intake process, which has needed improvement for years. When you call in for service, you follow the prompts, reach the initial intake person, and provide your name, vehicle, contact information, and a full explanation of the issue, expecting that information to be documented and passed along. This morning is a perfect example--after completing that initial intake call and being transferred to the second person, I was then transferred to a third person, if that is even a necessary step in this process. At each step, none of the information is relayed, and you end up repeating everything--name, vehicle, issue--over and over again. By the time you finally reach the service advisor, you've explained the same situation three separate times with zero continuity. From there, the process still isn't efficient, as the service advisor has to reach out to the parts department, and instead of getting immediate answers, you're told they'll follow up when they have time. The problem isn't any one person--it's the system. There's no smooth handoff, no internal communication, and no real respect for the customer's time, as every transfer resets the conversation completely. This has been happening for years, not just a one-time issue, which is why it stands out so much. The BMW product is excellent, and the sales side reflects that, but the service communication process does not. It feels like two completely different experiences: an outstanding sales operation on one side, and an after-sales experience--anything involving repairs or questions--that falls noticeably flat. If the communication between call intake, service, and parts were streamlined, this dealership would be operating at the level it should. read more

On May 31, 2024 I took my 2019 BMW 540i in to have the brakes checked for vibration. They replaced the front brake pads and turned the front rotors costing $1,039.09. It was ready for pickup on June 4, 2024. Today, Oct. 4, 2024 I called and talked to a service advisor about the brakes vibrating again and he told me the rotors would probably have to be replaced. I asked him why didn't they replace the rotors instead of turning them and he said they were trying to save me $400. I told him no thank you and I will be going elsewhere to have new rotors installed. After this experience with Jackie Cooper's service department I've lost faith in the dealership and the BMW brand. After all, my car only has 34,000 miles on it. Brakes and rotors should've lasted much longer considering 75% of my miles are highway versus city. read more

I've been coming here to get my mini serviced for the past few years. From the very first appointment, the service team have been great. They all know I drive in from Tulsa and they are very respectful of my time. Rob and Alex always keep me up to date on what is happening with the car. The technicians are so thorough. I have no complaints about their work. When I get my car back, it's always as clean or cleaner than when I dropped it off. When I pick up my free courtesy vehicle from Ben, he always makes sure the car is full of gas and in the winters he warms up the car for me. He also talks be through any difficulties he thinks I will have with my rental. I didn't buy my car from this dealership, but when I came here to test drive a car, they were very nice. Super friendly and attentive without being pushy. The service center closes before the dealership. If I pick up my car after hours, the service team is always really nice. Brought vehicle in for a safety recall. Was told 2 things needed immediate attention in the amount of $1,962.27 and recommended service in the amount of $781.60. Was also told both back tires had nails in them, took vehicle to a tire shop and they informed me no nails in either tire. read more

It is normal for salesman to coax someone to purchase but committing CAR FRAUD is illegal and unetThey will tell you that all there Mercedes Benz are sent to All Star to be diagnosed, serviced and also go through a vehicle inspection. This was a blatant lie. And the deal would not have proceeded with the truth being told that the car was parked on that lot and sold from that lot without any mechanic looking over it. Within a 20 mile period I received a critical error for the engine coolant being low, and to anyone who does not know; this causes car engines to seize out and become ruined beyond repair. read more

I just want to update that review with additional kudos to Chance Harn, the Jackie Cooper BMW Genius, who has patiently helped me numerous times since then by taking all my calls, and answering all my "how-do-you-do-this" questions. Honestly save your time. I have been there looking at two different vehicles. The first one I ran home to get my car (Mabey 15min) to trade in and they inform me that it was sold. I was a little upset, went to walk around the showroom to possibly see if there was any other car I liked. The manager came up to me and let me know that the deal was off and the guy was no where to be seen so the car was mine. I was so happy, went to the office. After a few minutes he comes back in and tells me the guy was in the finance office. How could you not know that?? So I try to give them another chance. I was looking at another car that just got posted. They informed me it was in recon and I COULDNT GET IT. I went to all star where it was getting inspected to look at it. Me and my husband called and tried to track the car and the where abouts. Gary told us we could not have it until it got back. We told Gary and Martin to let us know progress and the minute it got back. (Yesterday) I text Gary this morning and he told me they sold it. I'm wiping my hands with this dealership. We custom built the 2023 X3 xdrive 30i from Jackie Cooper BMW in May. On the day of pickup I wish they could be more prepared with paperworks when we arrived to pick up the car. If I have to guess weekend is slower than weekdays. It was a bit of waiting in the lobby with my friends who had to wait for us... Thirty-minute would be enough if it were a bit more organized. The reason I'm writing this review is because the salesman, Ron Stafford, finally pushed me too far when he told me the incentives are "to" complicated, implying that I am incapable of understanding math. I included screenshots of his texts below to show what a chauvinist imbecile he is. Just so we are clear, I have a bachelors in Accounting and an MBA, so I can do basic math. Backstory: The two BMW's that I've leased from this dealership were absolutely the most wonderful cars I've ever had the pleasure of driving. I love the service people and the finance folks. They've treated me with nothing but respect. However, Ron Stafford, the salesman that has blackballed me from using any other salesman in the dealership since my first BMW experience, is revolting. I ignored his chauvinism during the first lease process, because I was so excited about getting the car I'd dreamed of my entire life. When I tried to go through another salesman for my second BMW, he intervened. I took my new husband with me to one of the many trips I had to make back and forth because of Ron's incompetence, and he even commented to me about what a creep Ron is; alas, I didn't have the time to drive to another BMW dealership. So I relented. So now I'm ready to get my 3rd BMW. My lease is up this April, but Old Ronny Boy started bugging me last summer (I'll give him this... he is certainly persistent.) He called, emailed, and text me every month. When I went to the dealership a few months ago to see the new models in an effort to start thinking about what I wanted next, he found out I talked to another salesperson and shut it down. Fast forward to this week, when I started getting serious about my options, because I have 10 days before my lease is up. I found what I wanted on Jackie Cooper's website and text Ron about it. I told him that I have incentives through my company and through USAA, plus my BMW loyalty incentive. He told me those were already factored into the internet price...which means that either Jackie Cooper is falsely advertising pricing, fraudulently submitting paperwork to get the incentives from the provider companies, or Ron is lying again. At any rate, I'll be taking my business to Dallas, which is unfortunate, because I'd prefer to keep it Local. read more

I just picked up my car after leaving it with the Service Department. There were a few issues with the car so I dropped it off to have them addressed. I was given a loaner while the car remained in the shop. The car was fixed within a few days as communicated to me when I dropped it off. All of my issues were addressed and the car was cleaned/washed on the inside and out. Returning the loaner and picking up my car was seamless. Basic summary: DO NOT PURCHASE USED VEHICLE FROM JACKIE COOPER BMW - SAFETY INSPECTION/TIRE MINIMUM SPECIFICATION IS A SAD, DANGEROUS JOKE. TIRES WENT FROM SUPPOSED 50% LIFE REMAINING TO "DANGEROUS" IN 2 MONTHS Purchased 2020 330i in July 2022, when I brought it in for an oil change two months and 2,000 miles later they said, "the rear tires are severely worn on the inside to the wire belts. these tires are dangerous and not recommended to drive on." I checked for myself and they are in VERY BAD condition. I contacted my salesman and we discussed the safety inspection process and that tires have a minimum specification. He sent a video of the safety inspection that clearly shows the front two tires bald on the inside. However, they claim these tires were never rotated to the rear, even though the front tires now look fine. They say that the rear alignment must've gone bad, after I purchased the car, and that's why the rear tires are now bald. My guess is the bad tires were rotated to the back prior to being sold so it would be more difficult to notice their poor condition. SHADY AND ENDANGERING LIVES JUST TO SAVE THEMSELVES MAYBE $400 read more

I purchased a vehicle from them and 2 or 3 months later, the car was making a noise. I took it to the shop, and it needed thousands of dollars worth of work on it. I tried contacting my sales person that sold me the car several times and even emailed him to see how the car passed the inspection and what the dealership warranty was, to never get a call or email back. It got to the point to when I would call, i would be put in hold and no one would ever come back. Here we are about 6 months later, I am trying to utilize the tire warranty they talked me into purchasing. I was told by the warranty company, Firestone and a dealership that Jackie Cooper needs to fix it since I purchased the car from them, and they sold me the warranty. I call Jackie Cooper to be told that even though they sold me the warranty, they can't help me since my car is not a BMW. So they sold me a warranty that they won't honor. Refused to answer my calls and emails. In the meantime, I am now stuck with a vehicle that apparently passed inspection, yet needs hundreds of dollars of work. Nor will they let me use the warranty they sold me at their dealership. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. read more

Brought in my vehicle for service, and seriously for a high-end dealership probably the worst customer service I got. Neither of the managers were at work during a week day for me to ask why I was being charged for things I said no to, and my vehicle already had work done to it even after the day before I said no to most all the repairs except for the more important ones that needed to be done for maintenance. Long story short, one of the advisors was able to lower the cost since it wasn't my fault, but he literally had to find his manager which he just had to call since I guess both managers were out for whatever reason. I will be going to a private owned shop from now on. Some workers need to review how to do their job here, or they need to hire better people. read more

Travis at Jackie Cooper BMW strung us along about a car.Told us us he was holding the car for us and he's get the paper work over etc. we kept calling and he says he was busy and working on it. Of course leaves on Saturday night and never contacted us. Monday morning says he's still working on it and then sends a text saying "oh actually it got sold Saturday". Purchasing a new car is typically an anxiety producing experience, especially as a woman. Being the researcher that I am, in May 2021 I decided upon a 2018 BMW X2, in part for two reasons. 1) It is still under factory warranty, so if anything goes wrong, it will be covered. 2) It is also a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) BMW, so again, if anything goes wrong, it has coverage. This has been the basic strategy I have used purchasing cars previously, along with reading multiple reviews of the pros and cons of the make, model, and year. However, this was the first time I purchased a car that needed to be put in the shop about a month after purchase, then again, and then again, all for the same reason. This has all occurred since May of 2021. All totaled, the car was in the shop for over a month. Before I get to the worst part of this experience, let me tell you what they did well, they sold me the car, they offered a single point of contact while the car was in the shop, and they communicated with BMW North America when they couldn't fix the problem with the car. They did not communicate with me very well or almost at all without my prompting for updates. Jackie Cooper left me weeks without a car to drive and when I pushed for a loaner, as they advertised, I was told I needed to buy a Japanese model car. They would go several days at a time with no news after they last told me they were changing ABC or trying XYZ. No updates. Just nothing. Mind you, I *just* bought this car in May 2021. They advertise a 90 and 3,000 mile warranty, the car was in the shop within those confines. I was told that only applies to cars major system failures and the factory warranty and CPO would trump that. Meaning they will not purchase back the car. Yesterday, I was given back the car after being told the issue isn't fixed but their hope is that after two more tanks of gas, the issue will resolve on its own. The used car sales manager, Andy Womack explained this to me last night, 9/20/2021, then promised that come this morning, I would have the receipt from the service department explaining this again along with the most recent repairs made to the car. I was also told twilce that the GM would contact me, he hasn't. It is 4:23 pm. I have emailed Andy, reminding him of his promises. He hasn't responded. No one has called. It is well past morning. And I have a car that is not fixed and Jackie Cooper is refusing to stand behind the product they sold me. read more

The parts department has zero idea of what is going on. I ordered a part and they said they had it in Dallas. I go to pick it up and they said they received it but they can't find it. Now I have to wait for 3 weeks for a part that costs less than a buck. I do have to say the first guy I worked with was really great. The second one didn't even apologize for not having the part. I owned a 2016 bmw 3 series and originally I loved going here to get it serviced! That quickly changed and they were overcharging for everything. The simplest issue such as an oil cap will cost you about 150$. I then switched to an Audi and saw what car service was supposed to be like. BEWARE BAIT & SWITCH SALES SCHEME!!! This is a warning to anyone looking to purchase a new BMW from this dealership. They will have you test drive a demo vehicle with all the bells & whistles, while telling you they've got a car exactly like it "in transit" to their dealership and take a $1000 deposit, (which they tell you is refundable). I fell for this sales tactic and once that car finally arrived, it was NOT the car that Ron (salesman) and I discussed. Ray (Sales Manager) informed me that I can order a new car thru them for a higher price and months-long wait, which I chose not to do, because I don't trust them after their slimy dealings initially. After Ray (Sales Manager) & Finance workers stated multiple times that they would refund my deposit, they reached out 16 hours later to say they will not refund my deposit, but hope I will choose to do business with them in the future. They are running a scam and I advise you to read & document every single item they present to you, because if you ask for a copy, they're going to ignore your request, like they did mine. I hope BMW USA is aware of the shady business practices going on here....I've never encountered anything like this. Any comment on this post by the dealer is an absolute lie and poor attempt to save their reputation. read more

I moved to OKC from Southeast Texas about four months ago. My BMW began intermittently hesitating and shaking with acceleration recently, so I contacted Jackie Cooper BMW on Wednesday, 02/13/2019, to see when I might be able to drop off my car for repair/service, and get a loaner (which my dealership back home always provided during repairs, even though I did not purchase my vehicle from them). A lady at Jackie Cooper's Service Center answered my call and when I explained my situation and asked to schedule my car for inspection and pick up a loaner, she said, "We don't give loaners to new customers." What the . . . ???? Where I'm from, this is so unheard of that I just had to laugh. I mean, don't you SELL cars to new customers??? What a better way to get someone to want to buy a new vehicle from your dealership and BECOME a new customer, than to put them in a newer BMW, while you repair/service their old one??? *mind blown* This BMW dealership really could stand to learn a thing or two from BMW dealerships in the deep south. I can tell you that my next vehicle in OKC will NOT be a BMW, just due to the fact that there is no other BMW dealership in the area, and I refuse to give Jackie Cooper a red cent of my money OR my business after this experience. We own a 2006 BMW 330i that we purchased new in Germany. It has always only been dealer serviced. Twice now in six months since we've relocated to OKC we have taken the car into Jackie Cooper BMW. Both times the car has NOT been ready when promised & our service advisor has been anything but polite. This December visit to have new tires put on at considerable expense was our LAST visit. Car was not ready when promised & James HUNG UP on me when I told him how disappointed I was with the service. I couldn't believe he could be so dismissive of my concerns and so insulting! I immediately called back and spoke to his supervisor, but we will be voting with our dollars and going somewhere else. When we're ready to trade in our car, we will drive to Tulsa or Dallas before I give Jackie Cooper my business. read more

Customer service at the BMW branch is horrendous. A total embarrassment. I came in and stood in the middle of the sales floor for what felt like an eternity, going completely unnoticed. I decided to go to the front desk to ask if I was needing to fill out a form or make an appointment before the sales people would speak to me. I was soon approached by a salesman who treated me as if I didn't belong in this establishment. Like I wasn't up to caliber or something. He wouldn't let me speak and suggested I check out the used car lot instead (insinuating I could not afford a new car, I suppose). I have never been treated so poorly at a dealership and I can say with confidence that I will never even consider buying a car from Jackie Cooper BMW. The MINI branch, on the other hand, has never disappointed me. The sales people are very friendly and upbeat. I hardly make it out of my car before I am approached with a smile. The people there give the buyer a sense that they love what they are selling. They all seem to be very passionate about what MINI has to offer and I love to see their smiles when I walk in the door, it is so welcoming. I test drove a Paceman and a Roadster today and Becky answered every question I had and more. She even let me drive with the top down. She was very friendly and she provided what I would venture to say was the best experience I've ever had at a dealership. read more

One would think when you called about the vehicle they sold you wouldn't start, one would ask.... anything we can do to help? What issue is happening? Nope. Barely acknowledged my call and said bye. BAIT and SWITCH. It's illegal. found an X3 on the Mini website and Carly contacted me and did a great song and dance to bait me in on the car. She said it was in reconditioning and she would let me know when it was ready for test drive. This went on for 2 weeks and in the meantime, she sent me another car 10k higher and tried selling it to me. I told her no I want the X3 you have been working on for me. Never heard from her for a week. so this weekend I was scheduled to test drive car. She texted me this morning stating the car sold. I was pre-approved for the car. Just had to sign the documents. Do not waste your time with this car dealership. They will string you along. I spoke to the manager who showed little concern for me as a customer. They lost a very good customer today.
