This review is long overdue. I was very hesitant to put my twin boys in daycare and visited several places before choosing KinderCare. What stood out to me immediately was how warm, clean, and genuinely caring the environment felt. The transition was honestly hardest on me--as a new mom, it was difficult to let go and trust others, especially while still learning about toddler behavior. There was a biting phase early on, which I didn't realize is normal at this age (and eventually my boys went through it too). I almost pulled them out, but instead of making me feel judged, the staff handled it thoughtfully and proactively by moving them into a smaller toddler classroom. That made a huge difference. Since then, I've been incredibly happy. The teachers are truly amazing--you can tell they genuinely love and care for the kids, which is not an easy job. My boys are learning so much and are engaged in a variety of activities like arts and crafts, music, outdoor play, and holiday celebrations. They've also developed a great routine (and somehow nap better there than they do at home!). As a single mom with limited support, KinderCare has made my life so much easier. The team is accommodating, supportive, and makes me feel welcomed--like family. I'm really grateful we found this place. read more

5 stars for Jacklin Commons Kindercare. My oldest son started out in Discovery Preschool (2's) and completed kindergarten here. With distance learning going on almost everywhere else last year, I was happy to have my son be able attend in-person kindergarten. The classroom was capped at 12 students. His teacher is the best. I've seen so much growth and confidence in my son. Staff and teachers here are all wonderful. My kids enjoy going to school. During the months the school was closed early during the pandemic, my kids would walk around the house pretending to go to school. My youngest son started in the Toddlers (1's) class and transitioned over to the Preschool six months ago and is thriving in his new classroom. He seems to be picking everything up really quickly and talks way too much now. He loves coming home and singing and talking about his teachers and friends. read more

They had a great presentation that allowed me to see the classrooms virtually, SUPER HELPFUL! WOOT WOOT! During this time, I know many parents and caretakers are hesitant about bringing their children to specific schools. You have every right to be, but this team brings wonders. Their school is trustworthy, kindhearted, CLEAN MOST ESPECIALLY, loves to engage with the kids and gives them the attention they need and deserve. Also, a plus, the school has strict policies as they relate to COVID-19. Wipe downs, not allowing traffic flow in and out the classroom as much as they can and limiting the amount of school visitations to keep everyone safe. This helps keep the kids safe as well as the teachers too. I love that they have taken all of this into consideration with children drop offs and teaching friendly and fun hygiene practices for the kids. I have two kids, two and five years old, attending this school for the year, it has been a wonderful experience with the care of my child, communication, billing, and accommodating with our unpredictability schedule. A huge thanks to Ms Elma for taking her time/effort in teaching/encouraging my daughter to learn how to read and write. My daughter didn't know how to read or write when she attended the school as pre-k, now she can read and write really well for her age! My other daughter has been well developed transition from infant to discovery/toddler. Having just finished my son's Parent Teacher conference as he prepares to leave Kindergarten and head to first grade, I wanted to make a point of leaving a stellar review for the school. Just last week I was with the parent of one of my son's classmates, and we discussed how spectacular this school is, despite our initial concerns that it was a "corporate" daycare / learning facility. The feeling here in CA, especially in Silicon Valley, can often lead you to believe that your children would be better off in a private, Montessori-style school where your kids will be white-gloved and given the best possible preparation for what's ahead. The reality of this Kinder Care at Jacklin Commons couldn't be more different. Specifically, Miss Ilma, who has been teaching TK and Kindergarten for over 25 years--at the same school--is an absolute star. I cannot express more clearly that the parents who get to put their kids with Miss Ilma are lucky. I would be hard-pressed to find another teacher of her calibre across Santa Clara Valley. My son aced his state test scores, and will be entering public grade school fully prepared to excel and continue growing. I cannot imagine having had another teacher. Additionally, we enrolled our daughter in Pre-K (2's/3's) at JCKC. She is the first student at the school to have Down syndrome. Not only did the teachers take her in knowing that for them it might be a challenge, but they have accepted her as part of the group, and given her the extra attention she needs to excel at her own pace. To say that she has developed leaps and bounds in the last eight months is an understatement. The level of care and concern that the entire staff have shown both of my children is beyond compare. If you're looking for one of the best schools in Santa Clara Valley to send your children to prepare for grade school, look at Jacklin Commons Kinder Care. It's far more than a corporate daycare. It's a school filled with tremendous soul, exceptional teachers, and a staff that dedicate themselves to the wellbeing of the entire student body. So this review is personal to me...particularly because it involves the care of my child. Before enrolling our son with Kindercare my husband and I toured SO MANY daycares and facilities. I have to say, that for us, there was not one that met our needs and expectations in terms of cleanliness, support and care for our child, and friendliness from the teachers and staff as much as Jacklin Commons KinderCare. Our son had been enrolled in their Toddler Class and now into their Preschool Class. During our almost three years of being at this center, our perceptions of administration, teachers, and staff has not changed. Right from the beginning to present day, we have experienced such warm hospitality from everyone. They provide a good sense of community at this location. One that I feel is difficult to find at some schools. The tours which gave us the chance to observe, question, and decide about our child's placement, to the teachers which give our son such great care, support, and learning experiences on a daily basis, to the leadership from Ms. Manisha and Ms. Thao- answering our questions, following up with information, and even knowing our son and giving us an update on how he's doing, are just a few of the reasons as to why we trust Jacklin Commons KinderCare when it comes to the education and care of our child. Many of the teachers have been at this location for years, which definitely helps with our child's transition from one class to another since he is familiar with all of the teachers. They all seem to interact with the students and know many of them by name, therefore building a solid foundation to their teacher-student relationships. As far as food, my son does not have any dietary restrictions which can limit or hinder his consumption of certain types of food. Nor are we very strict with his dietary intake because he is an extremely picky eater. Due to this, with the food and meals that Kindercare provides, our son has now been open to explore and try several different types of food. He enjoys what is served at meal time and eats much of what is given on his plate. In the end, what matters is seeing how happy our son is, while at the same time seeing growth in his learning, which we do so everyday. I loveeeeee this daycare. My daughter has been going here since she was 4 months old when I returned to work. Any time we've had any questions or concerns, they are answered right away by center director Ms Evelyn and Assistant Director Ms Lindsay. My daughter is always so happy when I drop her off AND pick her up. They take great care of her and are always doing fun activities and art projects as you can see in the attached pics. They have an app where they upload pictures and videos and diaper changes, meals, naps, etc. so you can keep up with your child's day to day activities. Highly recommend :) read more

We have been with Jacklin Commons KinderCare for more than 4 years now. It is at its best right now. The center manager, Ms. Evelyn, is very responsible and responsive. The teachers seem nice. My child settles quickly and comes home tired, in a good way, from a busy active day. I'm amazed that he sleeps here, as I struggle to get him to nap. It's a testament to how active he must be here. Bravo! He says he likes his teachers and the activities seem fun and engaging. He tells me about all the visitors that come to show the kids things, and activities he does. I'm disappointed about the quality of the food and the fact that you MUST subscribe to the meal plan. But my kid is a picky eater, so at least he's getting exposed to new foods. The progress reports seem super basic. One of the progress reports just said, "have a good weekend" I'd like to know what my child did/learned. Seems a little half assed. I'm also a little concerned about the cleanliness and hygiene. On several occasions I've escorted my kid to the bathroom to find the seat covered in urine. I know kids are messy and miss, but I'd expect the teachers to clean up such messes. Very expensive when compared to other centers locally. It also seems that the front desk is unmanned the majority of the time. It's difficult to get a timely call back, when checking up on your child, or calling to speak to the director. Overall, it's good, but for the price, I'd expect excellent. read more

We were recommended by a friend to go to KinderCare and we are so happy that we have sent our daughters there for 4 years. All the teachers have been great taking good care of the students especially now with COVID. When my daughter first started in the 2-year old class, the teacher helped potty trained her within a week. In her last year of Kindergarten, she was evaluated at the 3rd grade level on her state test. Ms. Ilma is one of the best teachers we have come across, she super caring and really knows how to steer the children to learn. That is the reason why we have decided to keep our daughter in KinderCare for another year as a Kindergarten instead of going to a public school. It was the best decision we made, especially during COVID. Not to mention the center has great business hours, which was very easy for pick up and drop-offs. Another big plus of going to a bigger daycare center is that they have access to a lot of other benefits. Kindercare offers an app which shares photos of the kids throughout the day and offers another easy way for us to contact the center. I sent my daughter to Jacklin Commons Kindercare for 1.5 years. Started when she was 16 months old . I have found the teachers to be very caring and loving. My daughter adjusted very well and loved going to school. She has learnt so much and grown so much in terms of her personality during her time here. Evelyn, the center director manages the center very well and she is always there to support the families with any questions and requests they have. The center is well maintained in terms of cleanliness and variety of toys/materials. I want to specially appreciate the center for following covid protocols and doing everything they can to keep the environment for our kids safe and healthy! It has not been an easy year but they have done really well managing everything and giving us a sense of assurance that our kids are kept as safe as possible. My son went to the Jacklin Commons, once starting at 7 months until about 13 months due to covid starting in March 2020. He was an extremely picky eater as a baby and wouldn't take the bottle. They made sure to feed and take care of him appropriately. I loved all the updates on the app they used. The staff was amazing. I sent him back recently in the middle of June 2021 and my son had a tough transition. However, the communication and care from the staff helped him transition well. I unfortunately was not ready to have him stay with the new varient going around and just recently pulled him out. He misses it and the short time he was there he picked up so many songs and sings and asks to go back. Overall the center and staff are all amazing and when I'm ready I will definitely send him back. read more

I paid a visit tour the other day, but not yet decided whether to send my daughter here. So here is just some touring thoughts for you. Pros: There are a lot of rooms here. If you like your kids to stay with his crew rather than with all the people in one room, here's the place for you. The room I visited was spacious and bright, clean overall. The daily routine is well kept. I saw the kids very well behaved, they followed the instructions well, were very friendly and curious. The teacher covered most of the students and actively helped children with snacks. You don't need to worry bout your children don't get much attention here. Cons: The meal plan was unacceptable to me. I visited at afternoon snack time and everybody was having banana and yogurt. You can even smell sugary in the air. I asked the staff what if I don't like the menu, she said it's not allowed to bring own food, but they can make an alternative, say give you two bananas instead of yogurt. But that's not appealing at all. I am very strict with the food that my daughter eats. No added sugar allows for me since I believe it's harmful to her health. I also doubt the cheese pizza/burrito they give for lunch and dinner. I don't see much nutrition there in a pizza. Maybe you don't mind giving food like this to your kids( lots of parents don't), but since I used to suffer illness from taking too much sugar and fast food, I am pretty harsh on this part. The facility was a little bit dated. But overall I feel it's a nice place for kids. Everybody I saw was nice and polite. read more

We enrolled our son here who was about 20 months old. He was used to being at day care since he was 12 months old & has always loved going to daycare & spending time with "babies". We were here for almost 6 weeks but both us & him did not like it. I have a lot of issues with the place & here they are in no particular order. 1.When a new toddler starts he needs a little comfort which my son totally did not get. He was nervous & stressed out being with strangers & the teachers made no effort to calm him down. 2.They are very inconsiderate when it comes to the needs of the children. They offered cold milk in winter & would not consider using my thermos inspite of it being super cold & my son having cold. 3.And talking about cold, my son never recovered from cold/fever/constipation during his time there. I always saw kids walking around with mucous running from their nose & when & if someone tried to wipe it, it was using a dry paper. I know this because my son would come home with patchy face which you get from using dry papers. 4.And about food, I saw kids touching the food that was in the stationed delivery carts. This is so unhealthy & unhygienic . Teachers barely noticed it. 5.And about daily updates & pictures - they don't exist! They write updates on a paper everyday & I would not take it seriously because they write generic stuff & same thing to all kids. 6.How much my kid cried when I dropped him off & when he saw me in the evening even well after a month was a major red flag. Teachers don't hold kids/ or are compassionate. They should be doing taxes & not spending time with toddlers. 7.The play area is a disaster. They have a concrete floor with a huge tree in between. Enough said! I can go on, but I will stop here. We had to pay an extra month of fees as I did not want to subject my son to this "care" any longer. But I am glad we did as he settled down in under 2 weeks in the new place & we are super happy. read more

I had toured another Kindercare facility the other day (see that review for information on Kindercare as a business in general) and wanted to visit this one for its location. My husband works nearby and this would be an easier commute for us. Dawn was a joy to meet with, and being a mother of three herself, she gave me a lot of insight as to how the facility operated. Her daughter goes there as well, and to me that's extra points. Any parent who would send their child to where they work speaks above and beyond the program. In order to access the building, you either have to have a code or ring the doorbell. Nice peace of mind there. Each age group has their own classroom and outdoor area. Cleanliness and sanitation is stressed here, especially in the infant room where plastic booties are required. Gotta keep those precious angels with good health! Like the other review of a Kindercare facility, this one accepts government subsidies, provides transportation to/from local schools for grades 1-7, and offers private kindergarten. read more

My little one has been going to this center for two years, and so far, so good. It's not one of the closest daycares/preschools from my place, but I chose this center over others for many reasons including the following: The center chair has been recently changed. My husband and I were sorry to see the former director, Ida, go, but we also like that the new chair is not someone from outside. The new chair is Denielle, who formerly served as a vice-chair, is a reliable and friendly person, as far as I know, and maintains the place well. The teachers we met in the 2- and 3 year-old programs are great. They really seem to care about the kids and they are always very warm, friendly, and approachable. What I care most about daycares and preschools is the safe and clean environment and the warm, cheery, and vibrant feelings the teaching staff create, which are contagious and affect your children a lot. I also like how the kids are well mannered and trained by the teachers. My kid never had any issue with other kids in her classroom like biting, bullying, etc. or had any accidents. Most of the parents are very polite and nice, and we never met any rude people around the center. The facilities of this center are okay--safe, always clean, and well-maintained. The classrooms are spacious, and the playgrounds are not that big or fancy but are safe--each is separated from the other--and well-maintained. They are not the best, but are better than most of other centers in that area. The neighborhood of this center is also nice. I love the (annua?l) scholastic book fair held at the center and other festive events the families can attend. I also like that breakfast and lunch (as well as afternoon snack) are included in the tuition. I wish though they provided more fresh and healthy food than processed food. I also wish the center provided a wider selection of (fun) extracurricula activities. I've toured a dozen of daycares and preschools in the area (Milpitas, San Jose, Santa Clara, and Sunnyvale), and I realized there were not many decent schools out there for little kids. We absolutely love the Jacklin Commons KinderCare! My son has been going there since he was about one year and a half, back then I was so worried because we're a bilingual family and my son is very attached to me. His teachers are so caring and one of them even speaks mandarin, which definitely helps a lot in terms of communicating my son's needs. The teachers and directors are very responsive to our needs and whenever I call, there's always someone on the other side picking up the phone (unlike some other daycare centers where you may need to call a couple of times to get your phone picked up). The directors are all very good communicators, super friendly and nice, and they react very quickly. They held meetings for parents and teachers on regular basis to make sure our voices are heard. The activities are great, and my son just loves going to school every day. They also give out small gifts every now and then, which is great. Another good thing about them I'd say is their application where you can see pictures, videos and daily schedule of your little one, which is super helpful. After touring many daycare centers, we decided to enroll our son in this center. He started in the Infant program, and we were immediately impressed with the care extended to him. We also were appreciative of the cleanliness of the center. He has moved through Toddlers and recently to the Two's, and we continue to be grateful for all of the great care and education received there. The teachers are great, and we clearly see how much love, as well as gentle discipline, they provide. Ida, the director, is awesome. She is attentive to the children and engaged with the families. Our son loves going to school, he loves his teachers, he has close friendships, and he is gaining skills and knowledge at such a young age that we expected much later. In fact, he began singing a song in Spanish, he already knows his ABC's, and he is potty trained! We recommend Kinder Care to anyone who has the need. read more

We love this daycare/preschool! Our daughter started at 3.5months and is in Pre-K (4s) now. Our son started in the infant room this summer, amidst the pandemic restrictions. Director Ms. Evelyn and Assistant Director Ms. Lindsay are amazing and the best leadership yet. They are making sure the kids are kept as safe as possible while also giving some normalcy to their lives. Beyond that, they are making the extra effort to provide some special times during these days with social restrictions. The teachers are wonderful here and I truly believe that they do care about our children far beyond this just being a job. Our girl loves going to school and tells us how she loves her teachers. The facilities here are clean and offer lots for the children to explore. There are plenty of toys and fun activities. I love seeing their artwork on the walls! The learning here is also great. They made potty-training our daughter a piece of cake at 2 and now she's writing her name and getting ready to read. I also really appreciate that they provide food. Our picky eater has tried new foods at school because the kids all eat together. If ever an issue does arise, I know I can count on Evelyn and Lindsay to handle things in the most professional manner. I've been so impressed by this team. Their handling of closures related to Covid has far exceeded what I've heard other parents going through at other schools. We are so thankful to have KinderCare as part of our family! read more

I am writing this review as an overall experience since my son was enrolled in KinderCare (before he turned 12 months) until he recently left (almost 5 years at KinderCare). Overall, I am grateful for my son's experience at KinderCare as the teachers, staff, and curriculum helped to establish a good foundation for learning and development for him. PROS: 1. The teachers and staff are attentive and dedicated to the kids. They employ education/learning while keeping the developmental stage of each child in mind. 2. There are a variation of classes for learning from reading, math, music, STEM, and cooking classes. Our son enjoyed them all. 3. KinderCare established a good academic foundation (see classes above) but also provided a good foundation on manners and appropriate social behavior. Our son repeats his last classroom's 5 rules: gentle hands, kind words, walking feet, inside voices, and listening ears. 4. The daycare/school is convenient for working parents in regards to drop off, meals, and pick up. CONS: 1. There is a high turnover rate with their staff. I'm not sure the reasoning, but I suspect high turnover for staff at other daycare centers/schools in the Bay Area. 2. Communication to parents can be inconsistent. When my son was in the infant/toddler classrooms, we would get a written report daily on his care. As he progressed to the older classrooms, there were no reports. My work schedule doesn't allow me to drop off/pick up my son, so I had to rely upon my parents and husband for KinderCare communication. I'd often hear updates from my parents but get different information from my husband. I recommend that they provide more consistent electronic communication (for example, e-mails for upcoming specific classroom events) to parents. That being said, e-mail communication has improved with time as our son got older. 3. KinderCare may not be affordable for all. It is a bit more costly than other daycare centers. Some of the classes above were also charged extra per class. In summary, I am grateful for our son's overall experience with KinderCare and highly recommend it if feasible for families. read more

I had my my son in the toddler (1-2 years age) class. From the first day, the teachers were attentive. I felt comfortable right away. My son loved playing indoors , circle time, art and crafts and he loved outdoor toys. The teachers are responsible and whenever he had mild fever or he had an incident, they immediately called and explained to me. My son always was happy when I came to pick him up. He waved bye to me as I dropped him off. He learned more words, songs. The teachers sent me his pictures especially Ms. Reanna and was very responsive to my emails. We put DD here for over 3 months now. So regret not enrolling her sooner. It is $$$...in the same price level of Montessori centers. We did not choose Montessori for many reasons of which I won't say. It's a personal preference. Staff here are super nice and caring. Ms Christine is DD's favorite teacher. She genuinely cares and loves the kids. DD's first month was tough. Transition was hard for her. But the staff was loving and did everything they could to comfort her. Facility is clean and organized. Safety plan is well thought out. There are policies in place for everything This is a semi structured, play-based NAEYC accredited program. read more

I've heard that Center Directors define and influence the quality of the daycare, and it seems very true here. This Kindercare Center has been flourishing well mainly coz of the leadership. My child has been attending this daycare (toddler class) for the past 10 months, and i've been wanting to write this review for quite some time now. When it comes to daycare, one thing I've learned is that every child is unique and the daycare is not a one size fits all. What works well for one other person may not work for you. Luckily my daughter adjusted very well within 2 weeks of starting here and stopped crying. I have been amazed and impressed with her development here so far. She started at about 15 months and the first 2 weeks were a disaster - she wouldn't eat at school at all n then fell sick right after (expected!). But after those initial 2 weeks, we saw drastic improvements - she started walking only after going there. She started talking a lot more words, and seemed a happier child. She is learning so much each day, and I completely attribute that to her teachers. Of course, we support a lot at home by singing n reading to her everyday, but still there's just so much she learns in her classroom. Special mention to toddler class teachers Ms. Christine n Ms. Sonia - if not for them, I would have pulled my daughter out long ago. The Center Director (Manisha) & Asst. director (Thao) are also very warm n responsible folks, always willing to answer any questions. They also host so many events to bring parents n children together. I know a few other parents didn't have quite a good experience, but in my view, it depends on the patience level, and your expectations from the teachers. Also a little bit of respect and consideration to the teachers who take care of 16 toddlers all day long, is important. Sure, there can be few things improved, but overall, am satisfied with this daycare. Now I reduced 1 star, just for the food. It pains me that so much of processed food is given to the toddlers. They try their best to give a balanced meal, but at the end of the day, when I see Cheeze-its, and salt crackers ending up in toddler plates, I am a bit upset. I just wish they would move to organic, less processed food, or allow home cooked meals, but I know this will be a debatable topic :-) read more

I love this center and the staff. The staff and the administration team is always friendly when I drop off and pick up my daughter. If I have concerns or questions, the staff is quick to answer and follow through. The center is always clean (my main concern) and feels warm and welcoming. The staff and administration takes the safety of my child as #1 priority. I feel safe to leave my daughter at the center. I highly recommend this center. read more

All of my children attended Jacklin Commons KinderCare and we loved every thing about it. They are now in public school and we were very sad to leave this center, but recommend it 100%. They are an amazing group of educators who truly love our children and focus to provide a high quality program. COVID has sadly changed a lot of what we saw as "normal", but happy to have seen how this group of teachers at this center have worked so hard to keep everyone safe during these times and give our children a sense of "normalcy". Ms. Evelyn has answered all of our questions and concerns as they came up and is always open to suggestions and feedback. I as well as many other parents are afraid to send our children to school and expose them as they are vulnerable, but we must work and I can guarantee you that other than your house this center is the safest place there is. Our children left the center more than prepared for public school and we know they will excel in school because of what KinderCare has taught them. My daughter started at Jacklin Commons KinderCare about 3 months ago, and we were so glad we joined because the teachers Ms. Tran, Ms. Reanna, and Ms. Tammy are the best we have ever had for our daughter. The center is very welcoming and teachers are patient, nurturing, and truly care about each baby. Everyday I bring my kid there and when I pick her up she doesn't seem to want to go home because she enjoyed her time there reading, learning, playing, and singing with her teachers and friends. Ms. Belinda and Ms. Lindsay are always there to greet us at drop off or bring her out at pickup and their help has been tremendous. The Center Director Ms. Evelyn even held a town hall and listened to each and every parent about anything we wanted to ask. She answered well to each parent's question. I believe Jacklin Common KinderCare is one of the best Day Cares we have ever known. I have been in the KinderCare family going on 3 years. this is the 3rd center I have come across and this is the by far absolute worst center. In both the infant and the toddler classroom the teacher show no compassion for the children. There is little to no English spoken to the children. Lack of love and nurturing. The classrooms themselves are very small, no engaging materials placed out for the children. There seems to be no cleaning done anywhere and there is a very bad smell. No windows to let some fresh air in. The teachers said themselves they do not like mess and will take the toys away from a child who is playing because it's too messy. The artwork posted has no character, you can tell the teachers didn't let the children do it themselves. Both licensing and Kim(the district manager) need to come in and make huge changes or just shut down. KinderCares name shouldn't be on this center. read more

My daughter has been at Jacklin Commons Kindercare for a little over a year now. I have to say that my overall experience there is good. My daughter started out in the preschool program. She is super shy and didn't take the transition well. Just about everyday for several weeks she cried at drop off and every time she cried, the preschool teacher (Ms Lourdes) was there to comfort her. My daughter felt more comfortable each time at drop off. Since she's transitioned into Pre-k she is loving Kindercare and her new teachers. They have really helped her come out of her shyness shell (Ms Layla, Ms Savannah, and Ms Ilma) My daughters teachers are very good about sensitive matters such as my daughter taking part in certain activities due to certain beliefs we have. They are very considerate to each child's needs and that is very much appreciated. The center director (Ms Monica) and staff keep in mind that they care for someone else's child and that care is shown thru good communication, listening ears, and strong parent consideration. My son has been at KinderCare for over two years now. When we transitioned from in home daycare to KinderCare I was very nervous and he wasn't potty trained yet. His preschool teacher, Ms Lurdes, teamed up with us and we all had him trained within three weeks. She was a warm and caring teacher who clearly loved our son. Now during the pandemic, KinderCare has been a safe and reliable place for my son to thrive each day. He has a great time, willingly wears a mask, and loves his teacher Ms. Ilma. We love getting updates on the app each day, and the photos and videos show that our son is thriving. Ms. Lindsay and Ms. Evelyn happily greet us each morning and I am so grateful to know he is in good hands. We have decided to enroll him in their Kindergarten for the fall due to the public schools being unable to serve students at this time. In all of the uncertainty and negativity with Covid 19, KinderCare has been a huge blessing to our family. read more

I would like to start off by saying that i normally don't write reviews of any sort. However i cant pass up the opportunity to let many other people know how AWSOME this school is. My son who is 3 years old recently started school here back in late May, his first week was painful for me as it is for any other mother dropping their child off on the first day of school. He was crying when he entered the facility and i noticed the teachers comforting him. That day i picked my son up and Ms. Lindsey brought him out and my son was all smiles and excited to see me. He had spoke to me about his day and that he had lots of fun Playing outside, Painting, learning about shapes and numbers and learning new songs, He also mentioned that his teacher Ms. Vanessa was very nice to him and he likes her A lot! His second week there every morning we were welcomed by Ms. Lindsey with kindness and smiles my son was so excited to enter the facility he couldn't wait to go to school! My son comes home so happy from school each and every day he cant wait to go back the next day! The facility is very sanitized for our Children's safety during this Pandemic. The Director Ms. Evelyn is very professional, sweet, and caring, she answered All the questions i had about this facility. Also, My daughter who is 1 years old will be attending this facility in July! Thank you to ALL the teachers who are Natural Nurturers here at Jacklin Commons KinderCare! The facility is secure, toys are worn off, and is on the expensive side. Be sure to check for availability before agreeing to take out time out of your schedule to tour the place! I took time off work and found myself being tricked into visiting the facility just so that the staff could show to upper management how many tours were given, when I had made the desired start date crystal clear on the phone and they had no availability! All other daycares that I called in the area were very upfront about their availability. read more

I went from action day to this center and have been very fortunate in the quality of care provided. The teachers are wonderful and observant- they watch your children like a hawk and meet their needs. It's a lovely center and they provide the care and quality a parent wants. read more

After contemplating whether to write or not, here it goes. I am not sure what star rating I should be giving to this daycare. If I wrote this review 6 months back, I would have easily given 4 stars as the previous leadership was extremely good and they made center feel like second home to our kid and us parents. What else would you ask for your growing toddlers? It may sound harsh but really the new leadership needs to work hard. There is no clarity on the teacher situation going on. They keep changing teachers and IMO its hard on little kids to be this accommodating. In terms of their education strategies I am again not sure what is going on. We are not just paying someone to watch our kid, the education is equally important to us too. C'mon it's hard to catch someone in their office anymore. This is a really nice daycare/school but I feel after back to back staff and leadership changes the center is not the same. I would want my kid to be in happy place where there are less variables. It just doesn't feel right. read more

We are having a great experience at this Kindercare directed by Ida. Our two year-old toddler is learning letters, numbers, and colors while almost potty-trained. The preschool is always kept sanitized and clean. The teachers are caring and experienced. I would definitely recommend this preschool! read more

My child has been at this Kindercare location for a very long time, since infancy in fact. He loves the teachers, his friends, and the center. We are very happy with the center and the staffs, who are super friendly and caring. However, my one major concern/issue with the center is how it handles a problematic children. My son is currently in Pre-K, and I really like the teacher. She is very attentive and has high expectations for the children in her class. I'm very happy to have her move into the class. However, my biggest problem/worry is how the center is not taking strong approach to address this one problematic child in the class. I know he is the son of one of the infant teacher, Ms. Layla, and I feel the problem is not being taken seriously because his mother work there. On a daily basic, I witness this child is hitting, pushing, and hurting other children in the class. He disrupts and disrespect the classroom and teacher, and I feel very sorry for the teachers in the class because the management and his parents are not taking strong approach to correct the issue. I am very worry for my child's safety with Ms. Layla's son in the class and am in a dilemma of whether I should change school for my child. My son and I really like the center and staffs and do not wish to cause any changes in my son's routine, but I do not feel that it is safe for my child to be in the same classroom with Ms. Layla's son. read more

This daycare facility hires low quality "teachers". They don't even qualify to be called babysitter in my opinion. Top notch pricing for Milpitas area, but dated facility and low quality nanny. My husband and I were first time parents and we naively thought the most expensive schools would provide the best care, sadly that's not the case. I pulled my then eighteen month old child out of the class on the second day after witnessing how badly she was treated and ignored by one of the toddler teacher. That was her very first daycare experience, and this place completely ruined it!!! My child is now happily enrolled in another qualified and loving preschool. Advice to parents- don't trust that your kids are in good hands simply because the facility seem to run by "qualified" directors. The director then was Ida. Looks like this place has changed director recently according to other Yelp reviews. Still you don't know what the teachers do behind those closed doors. Pay surprised visits, you may be glad to find out sooner or be sorry later!!! I reported my child's mistreatment incident to the director. She apologized and said will investigate the incident. I doubt that they disciplined the worker. read more
