When my kid 1st started there at 2.5 year olds she didnt know how to eat snack/candies/ and drink juices/caprision. This school taught her all the unhealthy food. School events only provide juice/cupcakes/cookies never healthy fruits.

There are way too many to list them all BUT do yourself a favor and look else where! If you are looking for recommendations, message me! The issues were anything from not changing my children soiled diapers/pants, harassing my children (causing bleeding rash), blaming parents for injuries that took place at school, so far that they contacted CPS and traumatized my 2, 3 and 5 year old children. My children have been injured so many times at play and learn because teachers are always absent and/or teachers are too busy gossiping, creating false accusations or just not paying attention! They badgered my toddlers with questions. I will say Miss Clarissa is absolutely wonderful and took my baby in and made him feel comfortable, as far as the others, I agree with other reviews! Florinda is negative, unfriendly, not welcoming in any way and gossips about parents in front of children. Staff is way too concerned with events, trying to dress a way preschool directors should not and they are ALWAYS trying to dismiss children early. They promote children to higher grades to make room for new kids, even if they are not ready! My 3 year old will turn 4 in December and doesnt know one color! I could go on and on but I will close with this, my kids no longer attend this school, they are safe, and we are glad they no longer have to endure this treatment.

My child is currently in the Intermediate program, and I've noticed a lot of growth from clearer speech and broader knowledge to more confidence in making friends and trying different activities. The classrooms are always clean and thoughtfully designed for little ones, which makes the environment welcoming and safe. While daily updates from teachers were more detailed in earlier programs, in Intermediate we still receive a nice rundown at pickup, which helps us stay connected with how the day went. The teachers here are truly the highlight. They are approachable, caring, and empathetic. My child often talks about Miss Ashley and Miss Rajani, and I can see the effort they put in every day. It's reassuring as a parent to feel that the children are in kind and capable hands. Most importantly, my child enjoys going to school and looks forward to meeting friends and teachers, which speaks volumes about the nurturing environment.

My two children were bit 5 times out of 16 school days, in one month…read more I asked for a plan of action and Principal Heather Bilbro said no, and I just need to "trust" them. She told me a child needs to bite five consecutive days to be even considered for suspension. Come to find out that the aggressor was affiliated with the school and there were other undocumented aggressive behaviors. The principal straight up lied and had inept responses to my concerns. They now have a Type B citation, "a violation that, if not corrected, may an immediate risk to the health, safety or personal rights of clients" from the Department of Social Services. As a former childcare provider myself--at another Nobel Learning Communities school no less--it was extremely disappointing to see the incompetent leadership fail the amazing teachers and rupture family relationship on the ground. Oh and good luck at the next open house, because we waited since the night before at the advice of the principal and somehow they managed to be as disorganized as possible when they arrived in the morning and forced people to take a photo alongside those who got waitlisted?? Like what?? The sudden surge of 5 star reviews from burner accounts is also telling of their priorities.

As new parents we meticulously researched the perfect school for our daughter (why wouldn't you…read morewant to send them to the best?). We decided that Montessori was the way to go and went through several schools on our list. We had a lot of red flags raised on other tours and were starting to lose hope that we'd find a school that all of us as a family would be happy with. Some had Montessori in theory but the only one we found to put it into practice is Sundrops. Mrs. Helen and Mrs. Encarna were and have been so welcoming and kind as we joined about halfway into the school year. Our daughter has learned so much. Almost everyday I'm in awe to hear of the little tid-bits of new things she's learned at school. The school is in a very safe area and communication between teachers and parents is clear and concise. The classroom inside is filled with a bunch of great learning tools and there's a play area outside. Right after we took our initial tour, my wife, daughter and I knew we had found the right school. If you're looking for a true Montessori experience and want to make sure your child is in good hands please look no further than Sundrops.

My four years old daughter has been at Sundrops for about a year and has enjoyed it since the first day. She loves her teachers Ms. Encarna and Ms. Helen they are very warm and nurturing. The school follows an authentic Montessori education with qualified teachers, they embrace diversity and encourage families to share their culture and important holidays with the school so they can be shared and celebrated with the classroom. My daughter has learned so much during her year of attendance, she has developed a love for learning, confidence, and independence.  She will continue to attend until she is ready for kindergarten and my youngest daughter will be also attending sundrops when she is ready. Highly recommended!
