Ms. Qing and Ms. Suganya have been wonderful in creating a warm and welcoming environment for my daughter in the Pre-K Mandarin Program. This was her very first school experience and her first time being exposed to the Mandarin language. At the beginning, Ms. Qing spoke only Mandarin to her, which made it challenging for my daughter to understand instructions and classroom cues. However, Ms. Qing thoughtfully eased her into learning by gradually incorporating English translations, helping her gain confidence and comfort with the new language. I enrolled my son in Preschool program here back in (Oct25) after having a bad experience at the Los Gatos Campus. Since coming I have been 1000% amazed. Thanks to his teachers, Ms. Anna and Ms. Lety my son loves school again. He has learned so much both academically and personal. My son has lots of energy, and never does it feel like its a bad thing here. They embrace him and still calm him. He is also in the AM XD Program, and my morning wouldn't be so smooth without the love and care that Ms. Eunices provides. Every morning he says " I like school, let's go mommy!" My son started kindergarten at Stratford Beresford this year, and even in just four months, we've already seen tremendous growth. His teachers, Ms. Ayubyar and Ms. Jain, are both incredibly kind and attentive. They consistently go the extra mile to support each child. My son used to be a bit shy and nervous about public speaking. Even when he practiced his poetry presentation at home, he would sometimes need extra encouragement. Ms. Jain noticed that he truly understood the material, so she gently held his hand and stood by his side during the presentation. We've had a wonderful experience with Stratford School Beresford Square Campus since my son started there in preschool in 2023. He has had several caring and dedicated teachers, and he has made good friends who mean a lot to him. One of the biggest changes we've seen is his growing confidence, especially through school performances. It has been really nice to watch him sing and dance. We also saw great progress in his Mandarin during TK, thanks to Ms. Rachel in the after school program. She makes learning fun and interesting and brings Chinese culture into the class. The kids get to try hands-on activities like flying kites and doing fan dances. These activities make learning more meaningful. My son has made big progress in Mandarin reading and writing. There has also been clear academic growth, especially in the science class with Ms. Bing, and the academy class with Mrs. Bala and Mrs. Valarmathi. I can see how these classes encourage curiosity and independent thinking. The campus also has many fun events during the year, such as dance parties, movie nights, and Halloween celebrations. My son really loves these activities. We are leaving because most elementary schools start from kindergarten, and we need to move on. If Stratford Beresford Square Campus had a full elementary program, we would definitely stay. read more

We had been on the waiting list for a Stratford school location close to our home for over a year. Stratford later contacted us with a promotional offer of $1,500 off a year's tuition and mentioned that we would be placed on a higher-priority waiting list for our preferred location. We were told that seats were filling quickly, and based on this, we decided to enroll at this location on a provisional basis. We paid a $500 registration fee at that time. About two weeks later (notably before the start of the academic year), we decided this location was not a workable option and requested to withdraw. At that point, we were informed that withdrawal would result in charges of 10% of the annual tuition plus an additional $500, in addition to the loss of the original registration fee. While these fees were referenced in the enrollment documents, they were located deep in the paperwork and were not highlighted during the enrollment conversation. At the time we committed, we believed the only non-refundable amount was the $500 registration fee that we paid upfront. Even worse when completing the withdrawal request, it would only allow us to select the date of withdrawal as the day after the first day of school even though we were trying to withdraw nearly 10 days earlier. When we inquired about the breakdown of the additional charges, we were told that an itemized cost could not be provided. While we understand that policies and fees exist for a reason, we feel the communication surrounding these withdrawal penalties could have been clearer. In our case, withdrawing two weeks after enrollment, ended up costing nearly $3,500. This was a difficult and disappointing experience for our family, and we would encourage future parents to read all enrollment documents carefully and ask specific questions about any potential withdrawal costs before committing. read more

My daughter started here in august of this year and I've seen her accelerate tremendously since then. It's only been 11 weeks and she's already reading, spelling, doing math and speaking simple Spanish. I honestly can't believe it. They also teach the children social aspects of various characteristic traits like respecting others, being trustworthy, etc. it's so amazing to hear my child talk about the importance of this at home. My daughter loves her teacher and is excited to go to school everyday. Her teacher also makes learning fun so she can't stop doing homework even when it's done I think that's pretty rare for a 5 year old. They also have fun after school clubs and field trips which I was lucky to have participated in for my daughters first field trip! They also plan a ton of fun activities for each holiday. The campus is brand new and the playgrounds all have shade over the top. They also have a lovely library. I'm so glad we found this place. I'm a tiger mom and I highly recommend this place. Even tho they focus on academics, they still try to make it fun for the children and they're much more balanced than challenger on arts/music. The only thing I would love is if they had a choice in language to learn, I would love to have mandarin classes for K and above! read more

It's the end of school year that my kid attended so I can officially leave the comments now. I give high credits to pre-K classroom teachers Ms. Sreejha and Ms. Qing and feel very grateful for what they have done. On the day one when my kid cried for separation, it was Ms. Sreejha held her tight patiently until she calmed down. I was touched by the scene and believe my kid is in good hands. Both teachers are actively feeding the information about my kid's key status to me so I feel eased. My kid told me that she was happy about going to the school and I asked her what she felt happy about ; She said it's teachers' classes and often made her laugh / enjoy. We're incredibly grateful for the wonderful 1.5-year journey our daughter had at the Milpitas Beresford Square campus of Stratford School in the Early Preschool Program. Just before she turned 2, we received a call from Mrs. Rashmi Nair from the Admissions Office, inviting us to explore the EPS program--and we're so glad we did! Though we were already waitlisted for the 2024-2025 school year at the MGMP campus (our older child is a student of Stratford MGMP campus), we decided to explore EPS at the MBS campus. From day one, we were impressed by the campus layout and the caring, attentive teachers--especially Ms. Ruby, Ms. Lyka and Ms. Kiru, who helped our daughter transition smoothly from home daycare. She continued to thrive under Ms. Ruby, Ms. Sumathi, and Ms. Yoshmar the following year. We can't thank them enough for their support, especially in helping us successfully potty train her! The curriculum is well-rounded, blending academics with enrichment like music, art, Spanish, and physical education. The teachers are incredibly nurturing, especially with children adjusting to new environments. Our daughter absolutely loves school--so much so that she's often disappointed it's closed on weekends! I wish I knew they offer summer camp here sooner!! My 5 year old daughter is very attached to us and doesn't like to go anywhere. She cried a little bit on her first day but came home and was so happy and said she loved it!!!! 2nd day today and she had no problem leaving to go to camp. She was so happy and excited to go. Stratford MBS is a fairly new elementary school ... the campus is spacious, bright, and vibrant. The main thing about the school is its staff ... everyone is helpful, smiling, and caring. The curriculum is well designed and executed meticulously. My daughter joined the school in TKG, that day Ms. Jennifer held her hand and till day she has not left her. The bond she developed with my kid is something my daughter will cherish forever. Every teacher in that school has played their part in making my kid grow socially, emotionally, and academically. They have play based, poem based, jingle based ... techniques to help kids understand concepts easily. The school balances academics and extra-curricular activities well. Some notable teachers... Ms. Maheshwari her TKG teacher, Ms. Suganya her summer camp teacher, Ms. Susan Ayubyar her KG teacher, and Ms. Kalpana Sharma her 1st grade teacher. I wanted to wait until we had completed a full school year before posting this review. Our daughter started here when the campus first opened in November 2022 as a pre-k student. In 2023 they started their TK program which was perfect for her age. Campus: the campus is very clean and security is great. Staff: Mrs. Ashley and Mrs. Jennifer are both great administrators, they take the time to answer questions and build bonds on a personal level with the students. Mrs. Danielle who also works in the front office is efficient with answering questions and she's very helpful. Teachers: The teachers that our daughter had was Mrs. Shika (prekindergarten), Ms. Linh (prekindergarten), Mrs. Bala (TK) and Mrs. Faldu (TK). All of them are caring individuals and you can tell they have a passion to teach the kids. During conferences they all went into great detail on what our daughter excelled in and what she needed some improvement on. With their help we were able to tackle some of the challenges and see our daughter progress. The teachers also hone in on specific areas of improvement and make sure their students are successful. Curriculum: the subjects are nicely balanced with English, math, arts, science and language. There's a big emphasis on reading and math at the TK level which will prepare the students for kindergarten. Our daughter loves it! She started in the early preschool program. We had a rough start. She had a hard time adjusting to school life as she had never been in school or daycare before. The teachers (Ms Kiru, Ms Kenia and Ms Anevay) were very patient and thoughtful. We switched our daughter to half day. When things got better after a month, we then switched her back to full day. And now she is in the mandarin preschool program with Ms Abby and Ms Amina. We absolutely loved the performance the kids gave in the mid autumn celebration. Our daughter loves to share what she learns at school with us. And we are always pleasantly surprised by how much she has learned. One time we were super late picking her up. We are so happy that I chose this campus for my 4 years old boy. Everyday he comes home with something new to share and he is excited to be there even during weekend.  The teachers are so caring, thoughtful, and professional as they can be, I know my son is well taken care of.  My son has developed very well regarding numbers, letter, writing, reading, etc. The combination of creative teachers, excellent academics, and diversity of cultures really help him move to next level on a good pace. Our child started with summer camp and is now enrolled in the PreK class. She loves going to school and has settled down quite well. The administrators run the school quite smoothly, are prompt in answering queries and are approachable. We look forward to the periodic newsletters on lesson plans, school updates. We want to give a special shoutout to Ms. Filiz and Ms. Aditi who are our daughter's PreK teachers. Our daughter has shown good progress in pre-writing skills, fine motor skills, directed art, early reading. In particular, her drawing skills have improved by leaps and bounds. The teachers are very observant and intuitive about our child's needs and are able to draw on their personal experiences to help. They are cheerful, approachable and have earned our child's trust. They are kind and empathetic in how they treat her. They are receptive to feedback from the parents to understand the child's needs. Our daughter also enjoys Spanish (Ms. Angelica), Science (Ms. Bing) and Music (Ms. Voon). Our daughter practices Spanish and music at home unprompted. I enrolled my child in the Kindergarten and throughout the process Rashmi and entire school staff was so supportive and available for any questions I had. Ms Ashley was so helpful. Ms Danielle was so prompt in replies. It wasn't like I emailed and had to follow up multiple times they value time and it showed in the quick responses. My child's transition into the school was seemless and even though there were a few days of crying, the school helped not only the student but supported us the parents too with constant encouragement and effective communication. My son is enrolled in the preschool program at Stratford School - Milpitas Beresford Square, and I must say that it is an excellent school. Initially, he was a bit shy and didn't talk much to the teacher but only to his fellow students. However, he has now opened up and is great with teachers. Initially, I was worried that my son was not fully potty trained and might have accidents, but the teachers were accommodating and assured us that we could transition him. I'm happy to say that he is now fully potty trained. Getting advice from the teachers, the transition was made easier as we went cold turkey and stopped using diapers even at night. At age 3 years and 6 months: - He knows all the alphabet - He is starting to recognize the alphabet with sounds and is on his way to being able to read fully. - Knows 1 to 10 in English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese (Chinese is mainly learned from home and talking with other students) - His vocabulary has exploded. - He likes Spanish and Science classes as they are very interactive - He likes books and can think about what happens next to the story - He has a couple of good friends that he mentions their name at home. Our daughter is enrolled in Pre-K at Beresford Campus. Our greatest worry prior to her first day was her terrible separation anxiety that we had experienced from her prior different pre-school. Thanks to Ms Shayna's profession to toddlers, kindness, passion to education, our daughter shortened her separation anxiety from 3 months to 3 days, comparing her experience with the prior different school. We are so thankful and happy to see her having fun everyday at school and wanting to stay longer at school every time we pick her up. In addition to that, Ms Sheela has always ensured sufficient, straightforward and constant communication with parents every day when we pick up our daughter, which we did not received from the prior school. Both teachers are patient, professional and showing much love to the class, which we truly appreciate. On top of that, we very much appreciate music teacher Ms Danielle, science teacher Ms Bing and Spanish teacher Ms Angelica to bring much more fun, diversity love and motivation to her daily learning. This review cannot leave out Mr. Daniel, who also impressed me quite a bit when there was a chance for me to observe his interaction with one of the students when substituting for a teacher in the class. He was professional and carefully but nicely maintaining existing class rules set by the leading teacher in the class when the student was trying to sneak away from it. I used to joke that my son is going to Stanford years later but honestly I would be thrilled if he can go to UC Davis. I sent him here last year and he has made a huge progress. He is very focused when he's working on projects, he can express how he's feeling rather than throwing a tantrum, and he is doing better and better academically. More times I can communicate with him on various topics as friends but not mother and son. He gives me feedback which is somewhat naive but obviously under full consideration from his perspective. I am truly grateful for his teachers' attentive education and kind support in forming a good learning habit and stable emotion. My son is smart, but any smart person needs a good teacher. I am grateful that his teachers provide him sufficient space and guidance inspiring his talents in art and creativity. They saw his advantages and encouraged him further. Now he can make a whole piece of beautiful painting on his own as a young child which wows others a lot. For me my son is the best anyway, but we need to see the Stanford road prudently. I'm definitely hopeful now seeing what a great kid my son has turned into. read more

It is said that "school is considered as the temple of knowledge" where one not only attains basic knowledge but also develops social skills that will go a long way. Like every parent, we had our own apprehensions. Firstly, our child had never been to school, and secondly, he hardly spoke English. With a few other things on our minds, we went to visit the Stratford Baresford Square campus. There, we first met the Director of Admissions, Ms. Rashmi Nair. She patiently answered all our queries and suggested what was best for our child. After meeting her and the Vice Principal, Ms. Jennifer, we knew our child was in good hands. We enrolled him in Stratford when he was 3.9 years old, for the 2023-24 session in Pre-K. In a span of 7 months, we have noticed a lot of positive changes in him, thanks to both the wonderful teachers, Miss Richa and Miss Aditi. They both put tremendous effort into their teaching methodology. Their way of teaching is so creative and engaging that kids start to enjoy the time spent in school. The school also organizes interactive sessions for the parents, so they can get to know each other. The Principal, Ms. Ashley, is always open to constructive feedback and suggestions. As parents, we can say our child happily goes to school, and that's the utmost important thing for us, all thanks to the amazing staff at Stratford School. read more
